Seeing this a large smile appeared on his face as he says to the cloaked man, " Best shove off since he doesn't seem to want you here." He'll then draw the greatsword and let the tip slam into the floor next to him while he remained sitting.

Glen looks around, thinks for a second then changes to look like one of the townsfolk he had looked at before he had talked to the shady man. He looks around again bowing saying out loud “sorry for the trouble, I had to test your loyalty. We can’t have those scoundrels controlling every thing now can we?” He laughs “so how much is one of these rooms, hmm?” (performance 21 just Incase)
Toblen looks astounded for a moment, then just looks furious. "You come in to my Inn, my home, looking like one of those Redbrand thugs and try to intimidate me into letting you stay free. Then you change into looking like one of me neighbors and ya question MY loyalty!? I don't know who in the nine hells you are stranger and I don't care, but I know you're not Joseph! and you're certainty not welcome here!"
As he says this Toblen reaches under the bar and takes out a short sword in it's scabbard, and places it in front of him on the bar with one hand on the scabbard and the other holding firmly on to the hilt. "You can leave now, or I will ask this HONEST warrior to help me subdue you and then we will turn you over into the custody of the Lord's Alliance agent who happens to be staying here tonight. Then it will be up to the Neverwinter courts to figure out who you really are."
Seeing that one of the others has gotten involved, Tibern will sheath his dagger and wait for his food to be brought out. If the man tries anything though he will help them fight.
The barmaid, already halfway to Tibern's table with his meal when the argument began, gives Tibern his food. She lingers near Tibern's table waiting to see how the confrontation plays out.
Tibern watched close as his tail flicked in irritation, his eyes locked on the man at the counter. He was planning what to do if things went bad, ideas running through his head quickly .

Glen looks at vandar “right... I’ll leave” he scouls jogging out the door and around the corner trying to hide from any seeing eyes (steath 20) before he changes back to his normal form but changes his clothing before going back into the inn.
Silas is happily washing dishes and humming to himself, unaware of anything going on. Thinking how lucky he is to find a group to adventure with, and spread the good word of the triad.
As soon as the disguised Glen leaves the inn, Toblen lets out a big sigh of relief and replaces his sword below the bar. "Well, that was strange. I have been expecting the Redbrands to try to extort me any day now, they have been collecting so called protection money from every business in town except this inn, the Lionshield Coster, and of course the Miner's Exchange, they wont bother Halia or even go in the Exchange. Just a few months ago they were nothing more than small band of thieves, but something has changed and they have very nearly taken over the whole town."
Toblen's wife, the woman with the child returns to the common room seeing that the odd intruder has left. Hearing what her husband is saying to the adventurers she adds, "Thel Dendrar, a local woodcarver, stood up to the Redbrands a tenday ago when they came by his shop and leered at his wife. The ruffians murdered him. Several townsfolk saw it happen. The Redbrands grabbed his body, and now his wife, daughter, and son have gone missing too."
The young boy at his mother's side chimes in, “Qelline Alderleaf’s son Carp said he found a secret tunnel in the woods, but Redbrands almost caught him.”
Toblen looks at his son and says "That Alderleaf boy is too curious for his own good, but I am glad he got away." He then turns back to the party, "Halia may be able to provide more information, she always seems to know a bit more about whats going on than most people, don't know if I trust her myself but I know she is no friend of those Redbrands. You should go see her in the morning if you are interested in helping further, but in the meantime you lot have done me a great favor, and let it not be said that the Stonehills are ungrateful. You and your companions have your rooms free of charge for as long as you like and the ale is on the house tonight."
Meanwhile in the Kitchen:
Freda, the woman who went into the back with Toblen's wife and son, lingers in the back for a few moments to talk to Silas. "Hello, you are a cleric, correct? I was wondering if you could check on Sister Garaele, she oversees the shrine of luck in the town square. A few days ago she left town and returned this morning exhausted and wounded. She is a good woman and dose much for the people of this town."
Tibern will refuse any repayment of the money as he did not wish to take the payment from a kind person that had offered such a thing for the party. Once he finished his meal he will prepare to retire for the night. "I will be heading in for the evening. I will see you all in the morning for breakfast." He calls out to the party members in the main room, going to his own room where he will count out the money to trade to the party equally.
(I need to go back and see how much he found in the chest. Which was 600sp and 110cp. Plus healing potions and a frog statue worth 40gp)
At this point glen walks in and sees both tibern and vandar start to leave. Before vandar completely leaves glen will start walking next to him “hey how’s the group doing? Also how much does this place charge”
Bron leaves his sword unsheathed in case anymore trouble comes tonight. " I've since plenty of situations like these, it doesn't matter if we take down this gang a new one will just take it's place unless this town is willing to defend itself."
'Thank you Barthen. I know the hour draws late, and I need to be returning these goods to Linene. If you see the Rockseeker brothers, please tell them I would like to speak to them. I will check in with you tomorrow." Lothar takes his payment and leaves the store. He then pulls the cart down the street as directed by the merchant until his arrives at the Coster. He goes in side searching for Lisene.
After drinking a few ales he'll sheathe his sword and flips the innkeeper another gold for the piercing damage done to the floor before heading to his own room for the night.
Lothar makes his way to the Lionshield Coster, hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it. Lothar enters and finds himself is a neatly kept shop. Standing behind the counter is small darkhaired woman in her 30s, she smiles as she greets Lothar, "Well Hello there, welcome to the Lionshield Coster. Feel free to look around, mostly just general goods here in the front room but if you are interested in some weaponry or armor I can show you what I have in the back, just don't go making me regret selling you any of it."
Meanwhile at the Stonehill Inn:
Toblen continues to be very grateful towards the party. He thanks Silas for his help with the dishes and offers him a meal a drink and a real room. He is unaware that Glen is the same person who had just left and extends his offer of free lodging for the group to Glen as well. Toblen explains to Bron that the reason the Redbrands have been able to gain so much power over this town is more due to a lack of leadership than a lack of will to fight. There is no official government in Phandalin as it is, the people elect a townmaster every year to handle small disputes and such but he is no sheriff and no guard backing him. The current townmaster refuses to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and insists the Redbrands are no more than a small unorganized gang of thugs. Halia Thornton of the Phandalin miner's exchange is the only other sort of authority in town, she acts as a banker and basically handles the town's economy. The Redbrands almost seem afraid of Halia.
But Toblen is feeling very optimistic with the arrival of Sildar as Sildar is an agent of the Lords Alliance, and their presence in the town will help bring order to the growing settlement, and he believes Sildar may even be here to establish an official governing body in the town.
Frieda tells Silas where he can find sister Garaele's home before saying good night to her friends and heading home.

Vandar watches the commotion for a moment, then walks up to the bar and puts a hand on "Joseph's" shoulder. You should leave.
Waiting to see what Glen or Lothar are going to do at this point, just posting because it's been almost 24 hours since I did so.
