Tibern's bolt hit the thing with a 'splut' and sinks in getting lost in the creature's mass. It did not appear to like it.
The thing oozes forward towards Lothar and extends a roughly cylindrical length of itself towards the man. It swings the impromptu appendage at Lothar.

(If Lothar fails to dodge he also takes 1 acid damage.)
Now we go to Vandar, then Silas, then Lothar and back to Tibern.

Lothar's greatsword cleaves the one ooze in half, making it two smaller oozes.
Before the two oozes can recover from their forced fission Tibern looses a bolt, which just barely manages to hit one of them. The stricken ooze shivers a moment then withers away leaving a sticky film where it died.
The remaining ooze strikes out at Lothar.
Attack: 14 Damage: 12 plus 6 acid damage if it connects.
Tibern will take his previousnpkace in the marching order. "For now we need to pick a path and stick to it. As we go one of us shoukd be sure to makr the ealls so we can know if we end up moving in a circle."
Initiative: 7
Tibern is up. There is plenty of room in the tunnel to move past each other and enough for ranged attacks over your allies.

Tibern is going to sheathe his rapier and instead draw his hand crossbow, firing a bolt at the creature.

Vandar darts in towards the creature, uncertain if he'll be effective against ooze, but tries a couple experimental strikes to see what happens.
Yklwa Attack: 17 Damage: 9
Unarmed Attack: 20 Damage: 7
Vandar's darts hit, the ooze writhes in an uncomfortable looking way that can only be interpreted as a pain reflex.
After seeing the ooze wince, Silas does not want to get anywhere near it. And will use his sling and hurl a rock at it. Attack 23 damage 4
Another hit, somehow it is clear that this thing is not feeling well.
On to Lothar, then Tibern again.
Lothar charges the ooze and swings with his mighty sword.
Attack Ooze: Attack: 10 Damage: 9
Tibern will once again fire at it with his crossbow.
Attack: 25 Damage: 8

Anyone can go ahead and take their turn, you all get to go before the ooze gets another chance.
Vandar strikes out twice at the remaining ooze.

Tibern will fire his crossbow once again at the ozze.
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Vandar quickly dispatches the remaining half of the ooze.
Take 113xp each.

Lothar watched as they expertly put the oozes down. They were a force, there was no doubt. He led them towards the western passage.
Vandar follows Lothar to the west, content to let the sturdier fighter take the lead.
Silas will follow behind. Feeling slightly good about his contribution in taking down the ooze.
