This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Amri hits the creature with three devestating blows, again pinning him to the floor. Father llymic teleports to the far wall of the room, beyond the warped space and summons a ball of psychic energy, tossing it at the draginbone golem. 34 for 27 psychic damage.
Bile splashes all creatures in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on a point within 120 feet of the emissary. Each creature in that area must make a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 55 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. For each creature that fails the saving throw, a gibbering mouther appears in an unoccupied space on a surface that can support it within 30 feet of that creature.
Pear-ly coincidental, but a-pear-ently it IS national pear month, irl.
I'm not really trying ro force a pear roll, here, just pointing out the dryad seems lonely, but unwilling to leave. I don't know why, the whims of Fey creatures often defy rational scrutiny.
Assuming you do make it to the south cave, as noted, you'd join the bugbears who venture in to find, huddled together at the west end of this ten-foot-high cave are four hunched creatures with spiny backs and sharp claws. Each one stares at the bugbears (and anyone else who joins them) with a single unblinking eye.
(They look humanoid and seem to regard your party with curiosity and trepidation, suggesting some degree of intellecr. In fact they speak Laross and are literalte in the Draconic script, (somehow?). If needed, Prof. Skant could translate)
(What number are you seeing for my roll above? I see 13 but when I mouse over it, it shows 1d20+2 no advantage instead of 1d20+3 with advantage)
I think the charm only effects 1 target, so no roll needed really, but ill.let you know: shed suggest you eat a pear. (She's just lonely, not malicious, but you know how Fey creatures can be - their idea of a good time can be uncomfortable for someone from tbe prime. )
Upon consuming the purple fruit, Akeme gains the Charm of Druidcraft. This charm allows you to cast the druidcraft cantrip as an action, no components required. Once used three times, this charm vanishes from you.
<That feels like rolling a 2>
So, we got some creatures in a cave, bugbears are there. How do we proceed?
"So Akame, are you suggesting we take a short rest here?"
Chadderlay will stay with Akame for now.
"Perhaps anyone who doesn't feel like they need a rest here can accompany the bugbears."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Akame feels oddly reluctant to leave. After all, there's nothing for him to cling to anymore outside. His family tried to kill him, his country disowned him. He was a free agent for the first time ever. He didn't feel motivated to risk his life for the benefit of these people whom he'd met once by complete accident. Then again... it's probably be boring here.
"Yes... I came here without resting from a fight. If you don't mind waiting while I bind my wounds and rest a bit, I'd stay here a bit longer."
"It appears to be safe enough for now. Let's hope those dark elves or one-eyed creatures don't pass through here while we're resting."
Chadderlay will take a seat and catch his breath.

Akame sits down as well and begins to take care of the burns he took from those skulls. "So, what's your deal, anyway? You were at the embassy too, fighting on our side. Thayan faction politics? I gather Thay is after me over that, does that go for you too?"

"Sometimes the factions within the Red Wizards end up fighting with each other, and many more times factions from without end up in conflict with the Red Wizards."
Chadderlay takes a quick drink from his waterskin.
"Politics? Yeah, I never really thought I would get mixed up in it as much as I have, but currently you have nothing to fear from me as I'm fully immersed in a conflict with the Red Wizards."

Akame smiled at the idea that he had been afraid. With the power he inherited surging within him, he felt confident in being able to handle a wizard one on one. Especially now...
"Great to hear that but what I meant was, are they after you as well? Might we be ambushed?"
Dzaan melts as you rest, seemingly surprised, but in his last moment, you see a bittersweet acceptance as a momentary appearance of a peacuful expression passes his face before it collapses into a pool of slush.
"Awwwkward." Morwena notes, moving away from the pile of simulacrum.
"Oh, don't mind them," Hathowyn calls to the bugbears who peer into the southern cave. "They followed thise awful drow. They've been lurking around this place for ages. I do think they're much of a threat, but I wouldn't get to comfortable with them. They have a keen eye for vulnerability and they are all quite mad."
Weird Insight. The nothic targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must contest its Charisma (Deception) check against the nothic’s Wisdom (Insight) check. If the nothic wins, it magically learns one fact or secret about the target. The target automatically wins if it is immune to being charmed.
There are 4 of them, so let's have saves for Morwena and 1 bugbear, say the chief, and Akame and Chadderlay.
Gibbering. The mouther babbles incoherently while it can see any creature and isn’t incapacitated. Each creature that starts its turn within 20 feet of the mouther and can hear the gibbering must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn and rolls a d8 to determine what it does during its turn. On a 1 to 4, the creature does nothing. On a 5 or 6, the creature takes no action or bonus action and uses all its movement to move in a randomly determined direction. On a 7 or 8, the creature makes a melee attack against a randomly determined creature within its reach or does nothing if it can’t make such an attack.
