The easy (intended) way to collext attunements is to go places and find glyph key attunements from NPCs or by touching contact stones in the various areas, like the one on the pyramid. The rolling arcana is high risk low reward.
Piccolo will try to wedge a piton into door one, so the pair can't get out. She moves to the next single door, and listens, looks for traps. Then opens the door, while standing on the side in case something jumps out. She pulls out her little instrument, and it makes no sound as she casts a spell An exact duplicate of the next door appears right in front of the closed doorway. Thus, when she opens it, it will appear as if it is still closed. (if it opens out into the bigger room, while if it opens inward, those in the room would only see the closed door, and one coming in (not be able to see anything outside the room at first). (Simple Illusion)
(She will continue this search pattern, pending finding live people).
So, you're plan, if I am hearing it correctly, is to cast a spell to make it look like there's a door, then swing the door out into the main hall (not generally how doors work, but maybe in the Doomvault they do) which would have to pass theough the illusion, disrupting it (Physical interaction with the image reveals it to be an illusion, because things can pass through it.)
Ignoring that, setting the putin involves striking metal with a hammer hard enough to drive it into stone, bot a very stealthy operation.
But, I say yes to all of it. Three doors locked with futons. No-ones the wiser. Behind each door a pair of Thayan warriors. Onky the first pair are asleep, the others are playing somw sort of game with small stone tiles (first pair) and studying a large volume open on the desk and a scroll, respectively.

The room after that, set ninety degrees to the right of the previous door, swings open to reveal a red wi,and and hus apprentice, dozing off on their sofa and cor, respectively as they study scrolls.
The weasel laying in the wizard's stomach, however, uncoils feom his comfortable position and sniffs at the air. Alert and alarmed, he hides uo the sleeves of the wizard's robe, causing him to startle and jump feom the couch "wha- who-ughh hmm. Who's there?" He demands in a stern voice after quickly clearing his throat and looking toward the door awaiting an answer. His pupil also stands, now, readying himself for the unfolding situation.
(tx for allowing the illusion, didn’t describe it right, but you got the gist) Piccolo shrugs at Trisk, draws two blades, and throws to disable/ make unconscious the wizard, using sneak attack (hidden)

She seems to really get joy out of attacking the red wizards, and Trisk marvels at her restraint in not simply killing them all. (They must have treated her very badly over the years.)

Causes DA to attack rolls) summons arcane energy and releases it at the intruder at the door

The apprentice attempts a leg sweep to trip Picollo as the wizard fires the blasts (flavored help action, mechanically before the wizard's attack, granting the first burst AD).
Only picollo sees through the illusion bu default, a check to investigate it takes an action, the DA from displacement applies to all, u less otherwise negated.

So, if I can understand how the coins are working, that will kill the wizard. Just.. how? Is it like "go kill whatever creature is in there" or what?
