When trisk moves toward the wight, a new pseudopod emerges feom the wall and slams the wizard.

15  for 4 bludgeoning and 7 acid.

Trisk's attack hits the wight, who is powerless to react as the illusionist tactically retreats.

The wall reaches out at Sam as well 17 for 4 bludgeoning and 7 acid damage.

Sam quickly dispatches the remaining ooze and turns his attention to the nearby ochre Jelly, carving into it, spilling its cytoplasm from the fresh cuts.

The integrity of its outer membrane is diminished too far for natural processes to quickly repair. Instead, the creature finds a way, bifurcating itself as it pulls apart in opposing directions, forming two smaller Jellies.

Crit against Trisk, add damage:

2 bludgeoning and 8 acid.

Randy's fire bolt strikes the wight, who is still standing.

The wight moves toward Picollo, slashing with his longsword (21 for 6 damage), grabbing her with its free hand, attempting to wring the life from her body. 16 for 5 necrotic damage and Picollo must make a DC13 Con save or her hit point max is reduced by 5

Piccolo easily evades the strikes (ac19) draws two daggers and tosses them at the wight.

27 to hit, with sneak attack: 22 magic piercing

19 to hit (if wight dead, jelly) 12 magic piercing

Cunning action bonus action, disengage.

The two ochre jellies attack Sam

11 for 9 bludgeoning plus 3 poison damage

24 for 9 bludgeoning plus 3 poison damage

Picollo's second dagger takes out the wight.

I'm just going to assume one of you kills the two jellies this round.

The drow is still chained to the shrine, writhing in agony.

Piccolo runs to the drow examining if she is locked or trapped, then plays a quick tune “visual of the party helping the drow.” Perception for traps, locks: nat 20(30 perception)

(fast hands feat healer 6 plus number of drows hit dice.)

 <These are the mechanics for how to open the thing.  I see no fun in failing to do so, making it kind of pointless to roll for, but there they are if you were curious. I think the intent was to ramp up the stakes so you can free him while youre being attacked and that makes it more exciting.>

As you break the magic restraints holding the drow in place he screams, his howls of anguish echoing throughout the chamber.  "Ghaunadaur! I have failed you!  I am a worthless insect, unfired to be your chosen.  I must repent for my sin! Therzt Duskrath must die! "

Therzt babbles about the weakness he demonstrated in being captured and declares that he must die.

As an action, Therzt casts Melf’s acid arrow on himself while screaming his devotion to Ghaunadaur. The acid consumes him utterly as unholy energy pulses out to touch the walls, producing two gray oozes at the center point of each wall of the hexagonal chamber.

Players are up.

The girls face is riddled with compassion at the choosens choice. She had contemplated the hopelessness of being trapped for centuries 

she tosses to daggers at an ooze, then uses cunning action to dash away from the ooze. 
to hit: 24, damage 9 magical piercing  

to hit: 29, damage 12 magical piercing.

 And towards the other ooze?

The ooze takes two hits, but just absorbs the ephemeral daggers.

(Away from both if possible, and she tries to head south toward the door?)

Meanwhile further back, Ethan attempts to wipe out the two oozes on his right (the two oozes on the top of the map)...

After that he'll approach the shrine without saying a word. Seeing that he can't deduce a way to try and disable its system, he'll attempt to smash it first... but not before his strike blows him back and knocks him down half dazed (STR: 11)

Randy couldn't help but facepalm at what his brother just tried to do before Piccolo does it herself. "I turn my back for one second and this is how you intend on deactivating the thing?! With brute force?! Look who's the dumb nut now?!" He yells out in disgust, before he aims at the slimes at the top near the entrance they came from now that he's reloaded.
