With Gol's assistance, Ban takes aim and lights the fuse, attempting to get a shot off a soon as the ship hits the next wave's trough.

Ban, Grol lines up the shot and you both fire. A few moments after the blast, off in the distance you see black chips fly as the ball impacts just above the waterline on their bow.

Xander, if Milo or Armyl will assist then you may redo the attack w/o disadvantage if you wish. Milo said he would assist anyway.

As Xander prepares to fire, Milo helps him line up the shot. The cannon fires and you see a smoke trail fly through the air in a high arc as the explosive charge flies towards the pirate ship. You all see a bright flash of light in the distance as the shell detonates right on the deck. Splinters and a few crew go flying into the water, multiple small splashes are everywhere. A plume of black smoke rises and you believe you see a small fire being contained on their deck.

Quint holds his saber upwards as he goes around the deck, "That's the way lads! Don't let up on them!"

In the distance you see the pirate ship is now at 800ft and opens fire again.

The ball impacts far short of the Truth's Tenacity. However, you see 2 sails open up on the sides of their main sail.

Truth's Tenacity is up.

Any order (Armyl, Ban, Grol, Raphael, Xander, Milo) Raphael I'll say you're done constructing your IED unless there's something else you'd like to do with it.

Quint says, "They must have some custom rigging set up. They will pick up speed, keep pouring it on!"

“Excellent shot, Ban!” Grol exclaims, slapping the top of the cannon.

Grol assists Ban one more time before he’ll need to man the rudder for the maneuver. 

Lighting the fuse and plugging her ears, "We'll teach em to **** with us!"

Grol runs back to man the rudder....

Raphael you run up to the cannon and blast a cannonball, in the distance you see it strike the main deck as more wood goes flying. Ban follows suit as Grol assists and fires, but the ball splashes harmlessly in the water well short of its mark.

Both bow cannons have fired.

(Xander, Armyl, Milo) would you all like to do anything?

"More of a warning shot, really...", Ban states, a little abashed at her over enthusiasm. 

“We might not have hit em, Ban, but we scared the bagal out of them!! Let me know when to throw the rudder!” Grol yells as he runs for the rudder.

„Let us try again! They move a little bit to the right...“

OOC: Both bow cannons were already fired by Raphael and Ban. I'll save your attack and move on to the next round.

As Armyl walks casually around the ship while cannons are firing all over, he examines the stern cannon and sees it is smaller, but has a sturdy base with wheels making it portable and could be moved to another part of the ship if desired, but it would require 2 people to push it into its new place. He communicates this to you all and stands by it ready to move it.

The Pirate ship is up.

With their extra sails open they close even quicker and are now 600ft away as you both continue to move bow to bow. 

This speed seems physically impossible given the calm seas and fair weather, even with extra sails...

 They fire their bow cannon

 You hear a slight humming sound in the air growing in pitch and hear a massive explosion as their cannonball hits just above the waterline on the bow. The entire ship vibrates violently from the force of impact. Activity and yelling can be heard on the bottom deck.

Truth's Tenacity is up

As Xander and Milo fire one of the bow guns, you see the smoke trail fly towards the pirate ship as the shell goes through one of the sails, making a tear, and hits near the stern on the deck causing an explosion of black splinters. The ship starts smoking as fire breaks out near the stern. (Bloodied)

(Armyl, Ban, Raphael, Grol) are all up. Armyl stands by the stern cannon if anyone cares to assist him move it for their turn.

1 bow cannon remains ready. At 600ft there is no disadvantage on cannon fire. If you have spells or regular attacks you may use them if they have enough range.
