You both find everything that you're looking for down in storage and there is a large cast iron pot with sealable lid in the kitchen. The crew brings them on the main deck for you, as ordered.
Would anyone like to take any actions during your round? Both ships are still bow to bow. Armyl will do whatever is ordered of him.

OOC: Firing cannons, for example, is 1 standard action then you have your bonus action to do something else if you please. If you choose to not fire a cannon, then you may use whatever else you have in your arsenal. Normal combat rules apply. If you're trying to improvise something please explain what you're intending to do in a spoiler and I'll make a ruling on it.
Both ships are still disadvantage with cannons until you reach 600ft, you all may fire from the side cannons if you wish but will give the other ship advantage since it presents a bigger target. You all are in control of combat and maneuvering, so you may do what you please. Ban gave a few tactical things to do, if you all choose to carry them out.
I will temporarily run Armyl, so whatever you direct him to do he will do so.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Armyl will fire one of the bow cannons at the pirate ship
Attack: 9 Damage: 101 (disadvantage for range)
Damage roll was messed up, but it didn't matter anyway. Black powder ignites and a loud concussive blasts roars across deck. A few moments later you see a splash to the port side of the pirate ship
Ban makes way towards the bow cannons, kneeling in a readied position. "C'mon, Gol. Let's give em hell!" She'd like to assist in getting his cannon shot readied, aimed at the most optimal time, and overall assisting in any task. Ooc: I'd like to take the Help action to give advantage, but in cases of disadvantage, as a regular attack roll or ability check
Grol provides another, slightly unsettling, toothy smile to Ban.
Grol turns to Ban. “I may need help! I don’t have the finer skills required to aim these things! I can move this thing wherever, just tell me what you need!”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grol does his best to align the cannon to the proper angle, the ebbing seas making the effort more of an art form than a calculated effort. Grol lights the fuse, the hissing adds to the anticipation. Suddenly, the powder ignites and the cannon rocks backwards in recoil. The boom sending a shockwave across the deck.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Ok if you'd like to assist one someone on a cannon with your action then we'll say that will negate the disadvantage since regular crew loads for you and allows 2 people to aim. Giving you a regular attack in this case. The PHB and DMG has very little info about sea combat so most of this is homebrew, so I apologise for things ruled on the fly. I'll update the combat information at some point later.
Ban runs over and sets the fuse for Grol and you both carefully aim directly at the pirate ship. Grol ignites the fuse and the cannon fires exactly when the ship is on the crest of a wave. There is a flash, puff of smoke, and explosion as the ball propels towards the ship. A few moments later you see a puff of dust and splintered, black wooden planks fly as the ball hits directly on the top deck. You believe you can make out small figures of people scrambling on the ship.
Pirate ship is up.
They continue to directly close on your position and are now 900ft away. A few moments after your cannonball hits their deck, you see a flash of smoke followed by the sound of a cannon.
Attack: 16 Damage: 49 (disadvantage)
You hear the impact of the ball and a massive splash of water as the impact is far to the starboard side, harmlessly hitting the water.
Truth's Tenacity is up.
Any order (Milo, Xander, Ban, Raphael, Grol, Armyl)
OOC: Armyl may use his own action. If you wish to negate disadvantage then one person may assist another on a cannon as a standard action. Both ships are still facing bow to bow.
Grol turns to Ban with utter delight. “Ha! I think we hit it!”
"I dunno, I think it was all you! That shot was timed perfect. Maybe you were meant for the sea." Definitely excited at the first blood we've achieved, Ban will start preparing the cannon for a reload.
Ooc: Taking a good look at the half-orc, is there any visible symbol of your faith? Maybe Ban just hasn't paid enough attention to know just yet.

Seeing how far the ship is will come down as well, seeing Raphel with bomb will give him his beholder bottle "Raphel! Here keep this on you it's highly flammable be careful!" Then he will assist in reloading the cannon that was just fired. "Allow me to help you aim this monster!" Speaking to whoever just shot the cannon.
Acrobatics: 10
[Movement to come down, action to give Raphel the bottle from his bag.]
OOC: Armyl and Grol shot them last rd, then Armyl backed off (going to let Dragon run his character). No one is currently manning the two bow cannons. Milo and Xander, would you two prefer to assist eachother with 1 cannon as one of you takes the shot? There is a 2nd one open for two other characters. If you two would prefer to do that the whomever fires will have a regular attack w/o disadvantage.
Raphael, I assume this will take your action for this turn since you're constructing something. You see the ship is 900ft away still closing fast and is facing bow to bow with Truth's Tenacity. Please post in a spoiler what you're intending to do with your IED.
Both bow cannons are ready to fire and you may use assistance from a party member to aim better, removing disadvantage.
Also, at 900ft you may switch to canister fire (explosive rounds) that do 9d10. You have 50 rounds of it and have disadvantage (unless assisted) until you reach 300ft. Regular cannonballs do 8d10 and can be used at any range.
Grol dashes downstairs to look for a large container of oil or kerosene. Investigation: 6
IF he finds some, he makes a mental note of where it is, then runs back up to the deck and mans the rudder.

Raphael would like to ahh, assemble his bomb.
He punches a hole through a tin lid, fills the container with gun powder and puts the fuse through the top.
He then runs up to the deck, holding it under one arm to see how far away the other ship is now.

Grol assists Ban in setting up the cannon for the next volley. “Your turn!” He says to Ban as the sound of the pirate cannonball cuts through the air.
OOC: Nope, there aren’t any indications of Grols religion on him.
