(OOC Utar forgot about his crusader's mantle! There's an extra 1d4 on Lightbringer's attack (don't think the spell affects the spiritual weapon as it isn't a creature) - 4 (4).)
Obsben recognizes she might have to get a bit closer to the fight and implies Utar might want to do the same. The halfling flies down along with Basil, though not so much as to touch terra firma. She delivers a short little rime in order to magically revitalize Graxx, Neya, and Opal. (Each of their current and max HP values go up by 10.)
Opal remains prone for a bit but her breathing has improved. She then flees upward.
Neya may not even have realized the sudden improvement in her mount's condition. The monk is in the zone. She delivers three more accurate strikes, slashing with some and bludgeoning with another. Her assault brings the wolf very close to its death, but it also jolts it and its companion awake. (Winter Wolf#7 takes 37 magical bludgeoning and slashing damage.)
Graxx is losing himself to rage. He strikes the same WOUS he has been battling and watches it fall once the spark of radiant light hits the creature. (Winter Wolf#3 takes 29 magical slashing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Feeling the scent of blood behind him, Graxx instinctively turns and hits the heavily injured wolf Neya has been dealing with. Its head hits the ground first. (Winter Wolf#7 takes 23 magical slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Utar notes Obby's suggestions and goes on the offensive. His spiritual weapon hits first, aiming for one of the wolves near Glory, who, in turn, is keeping her defenses up. (Winter Wolf#5 takes 14 force damage.)
Then, swooping into battle like a Griffon Knight, the Tormite hits a so-far-still-undamaged target. The "fresh" wolf is fresh no more. (Winter Wolf#4 takes 14 magical bludgeoning and radiant damage.)
The group senses some hesitation in the pack of wolves. They have yet to permanently bring down a single target and are close to losing half of their pack. Nonetheless, for now, the survivors are still guided by instinct and hunger. The remaining wolf adjacent to Neya lets out its cold breath now.
-> DEX saving throw {DC 12} or take 20 cold damage (half on a success):
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
This time, Graxx is the only one to suffer the consequences of the cold lupine breath. (Graxx takes 10 cold damage.)
The other four WOUS continue the attacks:
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 20 Damage: 11
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):27. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll.
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 21 Damage: 8
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):23. If the attack missed or if already prone from previous attack, then ignore this roll.
A few feet away, two other wolves continue trying to make a meal out of Graxx's warhorse. They are getting closer to their goal:
-> If this attack hits, Glory has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone: 5. If the attack missed or if already prone from previous attack, then ignore this roll.
In the aftermath of the cold breath attack, one of the nearby wolves manages to scrape Graxx's skin with its fangs. It is only a small wound. (Graxx takes 3 piercing damage, already halved.)
Glory's situation is much more dire. However, at the very last second, Obsben shouts a strange, sudden, high-pitched sound that seems to mess with the sense of balance of the next WOUS lunging at Glory(Cutting Words - That 15 attack roll becomes a 12 and misses.)
The inevitable is only momentarily delayed, however. Already weakened, the warhorse falls to the next lupine lunge. (Glory takes 11 piercing damage and is now unconscious, incapacitated, and prone.)
(@Ori: By the way, for Basil to descend 40ft and then fly back up to {G-8} at an altitude of 50ft, they'll have to dash, so I am assuming they did just that.)
18. Obsben & Basil (51+15+13/51+15 and 5+15/5+15; purple) - 50ft in the air, concentrating on fly; Basil can fly;
13. Neya & Opal (68+10+1/68+10 and 10/13+10; cyan) - Bardic Inspiration; Opal is 40ft in the air and can fly;
11. Graxx & Glory (72/112+10 and 0/19+15; red) - DM's Inspiration, Rage (7); Glory is unconscious, incapacitated, and prone (DEATH saves: 0/0);
08. Utar & Glühoof II (84+13/84 and 13/13; yellow) - 20ft in the air, concentrating on Crusader's Mantle (8); Spiritual Weapon (7), DM's Inspiration; Glühoof II can fly;
04. Winter Wolf (x5) - {I-11}, {L-10}, and {I-14} are damaged;

NOTES: Just as I usually depict horses as medium creatures, I am choosing the depict the wolves here as medium creatures. Note that both are technically large creatures.
(Obsben, Neya, Graxx, and Utar may all take their turns. Everyone but Obsben and Basil is benefiting from Crusader's Mantle, so don't forget to add that extra d4 to damage rolls.)
Obsben pouted and started to fish around in her pocket for more pocket change to teach some wolves some lesson. Yet at the very last moment there's a sigh and shake of the head. "You know what little poochies? It's fine~ All fine~ 'cause-..." She looks to Glory and started to snap her fingers in a beat.
"Never gonna give them up~ Never gonna let them down~ Never gonna let them lay there and die now~"
And as she sung to spirit of Glory, bringing her back to the realm of the living, with a final snap of the fingers an adult sized skeletal hand appears in a swirl of snow briefly and tries to punch a wolf; leaving behind a black impression that would continue to fester for a few moments after.
Movement: To 10ft down(Now 40ft in the air).
Bonus Action: Cast (2nd level)Healing Word on Glory, restoring 7 HP.

Utar's spectral warhammer continues its assault on the wolf at L,10.
Attack: 19 Damage: 10 plus 4 from crusader's mantle.
Glühoof II focuses in on the wolf at K,10, employing their impression of the Griffon Knight again before rising back into the relative safety of the sky.
Attack: 29 Damage: 12 plus 7 from divine strike and 3 from crusader's mantle.
Every mount he bonds with seems to perish in battle. It's his fault.

Attack: 23 Damage: 20

(Movement)Graxx exposes his body to the attacks of the wolves as he turns his back to them and runs toward Glory to K,9.
Graxx hears the singing of Osben and sees Glory breathing with life once again. He's not sure if the two are connected but he is pretty sure the music wizard has performed this miracle.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Obsben is determined to not let the horses meet their end here. She cites the work of another famous Faerûnian minstrel, Roll Astley, albeit adding some artistic tweaks of her own. The magic-laced words navigate their way into Glory's life force and pull her back into the present. (Glory recovers 7 HP.)
Finding the time to "roll" those words into a secondary spell, the halfling caster invokes a chilling touch to remind one of the still healthy wolves that it is not being forgotten. (Winter Wolf#6 takes 5 necrotic damage.)
Neya switches target effortlessly, delivering three fresh blows to the next WOUS. Skin breaks and bones crack with each blow, but the creature remains standing. (Winter Wolf#8 takes 35 magical bludgeoning and slashing damage.)
Graxx decides it is time to go for Glory (see what I did there?) He leaves Neya's side and carves his way toward his mount. The chosen target of his latest display of fury whimpers in pain but manages to cling to life. (Winter Wolf#4 takes 45 magical slashing and radiant damage.)
As he runs, the first wolf has a chance to land a blow that may bring Graxx to his knees momentarily:
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 23 Damage: 6 (12,12)
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):19. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll. (25)
(OOC: Resolution of Graxx's turn continues in the next post. At this point, he has only spent 5ft worth of movement.)
Although the second wolf manages to close its jaw around Graxx's ankle, it does not bring the strong man down. He manages to reach his intended spot {K-9}. (Graxx takes 7 piercing damage, already halved.)
Glory responds to her master's voice, getting back up and resuming her defensive stance.
Graxx arrives just in time to witness Utar's spiritual weapon whacking another nearby WOUS. It is an entirely surprising fact that this wolf is still standing somehow. (Winter Wolf#5 takes 14 force damage.)
Though Glühoof IIswoops at a different target than last time, Utar repeats his Griffon Knight approach to attacking. That stranded feather back in Ernst's Livery begins to give the Tormite a chance to dream. (Winter Wolf#6 takes 22 magical bludgeoning and radiant damage.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The wolves' instinct is to chase prey. When Graxx ran, he brought two wolves with him. Was it a mistake to bring two more predators closer to Glory? For now, they all pounce at the screaming, bleeding barbarian. Their hunting instinct calls on the wolves to exploit their 4-to-1 advantage.
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 22 Damage: 10
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):22. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll.
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 20 Damage: 11
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):23. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll.

-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):22. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll.
Graxx stands his ground but the wounds are starting to mount up. (Graxx takes 23 piercing damage, already halved.)
A few feet away, a fifth wolf continues to battle Neya.
-> Bite vs. Neya: Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (advantage if prone: 21).
-> If this attack hits, Neya has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone: 16. If the attack missed or if already prone from previous attack, then ignore this roll.
(@Grx: You are still forgetting the Crusader's Mantle d4s, so here are a couple of rolls on your behalf: 1 and 2. I won't add this damage to post#254 as to not run the risk of getting a manipulation error, but I'll add this damage to the wolves in the next post.)
Neya can't avoid the wolf's attack, and the creature's weight also brings her down. (Neya takes 13 piercing damage.)
A few feet away, one of the wolves realizes with some delay that a recent wound was worst than it had noticed. (Winter Wolf#4 takes 6 magical slashing damage.)
