Obsben shakes her head and clicks her tongue. "And so it was that Opal, first of her line and last of her breed fell to tooth and claw." She commented while fishing out some gold pieces. "... Ah well! Hang in there, Neya! You gotta embrace your inner Dark Knight? You remember the story? It's only a flesh wound!" Obsben bardic-ally encouraged, then appeared to focus her attention on the coin in hand. "Now for these, uhm... how did it ago again? Uh... Oh yeaa... *ahem*.. Bibbidy Di Boo Da Boppity Bii Da Bippity Boppity Boo~ Put'em together and what do we have?~ A Bippity Boppity Bang!!"
As she half-sung and half spoke the phrase, the coin floated up above the palm of her hand, twirling and spinning gently at first, before rapidly picking up speed to the point of appearing as little more than golden blurs of light that soon rain down with deadly force upon the unsuspecting wolf harassing Graxx' mount. She than bid Basil to get just a little more altitude in case the wolves got clever and tried to climb the trees!
Swearing at finding himself outmanoeuvred by a bunch of wolves, Utar sends his spectral warhammer in pursuit accepting that it is unlikely to reach a target.
Repositioning himself and Glühoof II to get closer to the action, his pauldron glows again as he urges his friends on in their current fight.
"Let's show these animals that we're no easy prey. They've bitten off more than they can chew with this mouthful of CRAP!"
Bonus Action: Shift spectral warhammer to N,9.
Movement: Glühoof II stays 40ft up, but is now above the action at J,12.
Action: Cast crusader's mantle. Won't do much this round but might help mop up wolves in the next.
Glühoof II's action: Dodge. Having heard the story of Glühoof I, Number II is going to be permanently on alert.

(Neya's evasion allows her to avoid damage that Dex save on success, so she should have 1 temp hp left)
Opal death save: 2 (13)
Neya scrambles to her feet and throws a number of attacks at the WOUS near her, hopefully she could put them in a temporary daze(stunning strike first I-13 untill stun then move onto I-14. Any remaining attacks will go to the one at I-13).
Noticing Opal's grim situation, Obsben lightens up the mood with another literary reference, this time to the work of famous storyteller Count Python. Neya picks up on the reference as Obsben flies even higher. (Bardic Inspiration.)
The halfling then switches gear and pays real money to cast a gamble of a spell. The coins melt into flashes of energy and rain down on the injured wolf. One of the rays misses, and Obsben thinks she might have seen it hit instead, but the clear hit on the snow proves her wrong. Although the missiles push the creature closer to death, it still stands. (Winter Wolf#5 takes 27 force damage.)
For a moment, Obsben's eulogy for Opal seems to have predictive powers. Then, the horse kicks a leg up, showing signs of life (DEATH saves 1/0.)
(@Drache: I keep forgetting about Evasion. I fixed post#217 and updated Neya's HP in the latest initiative tracker.)
(@Grx: I don't see a manipulation warning on your post but I see that the roll details are not popping up when I hover my cursor over them. I am seeing 17 and 12 for the attack rolls, including the Bardic Inspiration die. If you happen to remember the original rolls, let me know and we can go with them instead.)
(@MB: Since Utar is the last party member to go, he is still too far for War God's Blessing. As for Neya's attacks, going by the original rolls, all four will hit, so there is no need to donate your Inspiration die in this case.)
Neya wastes no time in standing back up and enacting revenge for Opal's suffering. She delivers two strikes of her blade to a nearby WOUS, following it up with a cracking kick to its snout. The creature's faculties are temporarily jumbled (Winter Wolf#7 takes 30 magical bludgeoning and slashing damage.)
Turning to the second WOUS, Neya delivers a chop to its throat. It restricts the creature's breathing momentarily. (Winter Wolf#8 takes 9 magical bludgeoning damage.)
(@Drache: It took three attempts to stun the first wolf and just one for the second wolf, so that is a total of 5 Ki Points this round.)
(@Grx: On second thought, an attack roll of 7 with his greataxe is impossible for Graxx. Even with a natural 1 he would get a 10. If you add the Bardic Inspiration roll to that, he'd get a 15 to hit. Since you rolled with advantage from Reckless Attack, I'll assume your original roll was not a natural 1. Hence, it would have been at least a 16. So, I'll say that your two attack rolls were 17 and 16, which both hit.)
Back to back with Neya, Graxx swings his axe twice more. Each strike leaves a horrendous gash on the side of the chosen WOUS, and a flash of radiant light adds insult to injury. Somehow, the weakened wolf still lives. (Winter Wolf#3 takes 54 magical slashing and radiant damage.)
Feeling outsmarted, Utar moves closer to the main action, his spiritual weapon lagging behind him. He decreases his and his mount's altitude to 20ft and casts a protective mantle spell on himself, which benefits both Neya and Graxx below. It also encompasses Glühoof II and Glory, who have both kept their wits about them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Another one of the wolves nearest to Graxx opens its mouth and releases that white, frigid air that brought Opal down. Some of this breath catches the numbed wolves near Neya, but the cold seems to do nothing to them.
-> DEX saving throw {DC 12} or take 15 cold damage (half on a success):
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once again, Neya moves quickly enough to avoid the cold blast. Graxx does too, but he can't fully avoid the sudden drop in temperature. (Graxx takes 11 cold damage.)
The two wolves circling the barbarian then lunge forward while baring their fangs:
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 23 Damage: 11
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):27. If the attack missed, then ignore this roll.
-> Bite vs. Graxx(Reckless Attack): Attack: 19 Damage: 9
-> If this attack hits, Graxx has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone(Rage):26. If the attack missed or if already prone from previous attack, then ignore this roll.
A few feet away, two other wolves continue trying to make a meal out of Graxx's warhorse:
-> If this attack hits, Glory has to roll a STR saving throw {DC 14} or be knocked prone: 18. If the attack missed or if already prone from previous attack, then ignore this roll.
Both of the WOUS sink their fangs into Graxx, who yells in the fervor of battle. The barbarian stands his ground easily, pushing back the canine creatures. (Graxx takes 9 piercing damage, already halved.)
A third WOUS adds another deep wound to Glory. A lot of blood spurts from beneath the warhorse's barding, but the mount still stands. (Glory takes 15 piercing damage.)
08. Utar & Glühoof II (84+13/84 and 13/13; yellow) - 20ft in the air, concentrating on Crusader's Mantle (9); Spiritual Weapon (8), DM's Inspiration; Glühoof II dodged and can fly;
04. Winter Wolf (x7) - {H-11}, {L-10}, {I-13}, and {I-14} are damaged, {I-13}, and {I-14} are stunned and incapacitated;
MAP:
NOTES: Just as I usually depict horses as medium creatures, I am choosing the depict the wolves here as medium creatures. Note that both are technically large creatures.
(Obsben, Neya, Graxx, and Utar may all take their turns. Everyone but Obsben and Basil is benefiting from Crusader's Mantle, so don't forget to add that extra d4 to damage rolls.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh dear,. Seems these are rather tougher little poochies, huh, Utar? One of us might have to go down there to take off a little heat there I think... Anyhow, Basil. Over there please."With that, Obsben drifts down on Basil once more to better assess the battlefield, or so the thought absently came to mind. "Yes.. yes... Now how did that excerpt go again? Oh right~ *Ahem* ... We stood as one, yet they were more, so to a tune, I grant a bigger boon~" She ends her incantation with a few jazzy snap of the fingers. But to those who would be affected by her spell, the snaps are anything but lost among the snarls and growls of the wolves, but reverberates pleasantly through their being, dredging up hidden reserves of strength that they may not have know they had!
Or if they wouldn't have put some liveliness back in Opal, and she knew as much before hand, then her words are more direct as they are vicious in mocking the wolves for the sizes of their tails while stage whispering sweet promises to Opal of sugar cubes and apples awaiting her.
Movement: To 40ft down(now 30ft in the air).
Acton: Cast (3rd level)Aid on Opal, Neya, and Graxx, increasing both current and Max HP by 10.
Movement(Remaining): To G-8. (Same as below after initial movement)
OR(if Aid would not revive Opal).
Movement: To 20ft down(50ft in the air).
Bonus Action: Cast (2nd level)Healing Word on Opal, restoring 11 HP.
Action: Cast (Cantrip)Get Served, Son! on Wolf(K-10/same one she targeted last time). Wis Save(DC 16) or take 4 Psychic Damage.
Future Reaction(Obsben): Activate Chronal shift if any ally would be hit with a critical (prioritizing Neya, if attacked 1st).
OR
If an attack /would/ miss an ally by 3 or less, using Cutting Words(5) on said attack(priortizing Neya, if 1st to be subject to this).
