Neya gets concerned about Graxx and Utar after hearing the impacts from the large monster's pseudopods. Knowing full well she'll be in danger as well after firing two more arrows, closes the distance to the puddle and rains two more attacks onto it.
Now is not the time for a measured approach. Neya shoots a pair of fresh arrows and runs closer to danger to deliver follow-up attacks. The first arrow hits, the second splashes. Although she misses the mark with her flying kick, a second kick sends some of the "water" flying. (Enormous Puddle takes 37 magical bludgeoning, piercing, and acid damage.)
Neya feels an acidic burn on her foot following her successful kick. (Neya takes 6 acid damage.)
Not having the option to flee, Utar doubles down on fighting. Lightbringer and its spiritual replica impact simultaneously, their radiant magic reverberating through the entire "puddle" and undoing whatever it is that kept this ooze alive. (Enormous Puddle takes 24 magical bludgeoning and force damageand is DEFEATED.)
Obsben's spectral hand was already on its way, as was Graxx's next pair of pike pokes. These attacks ensure the creature is no more.
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
"My goodness. That was certainly an unexpected pleasure."Obsben said after giving the puddle just an extra few seconds to settle down and disperse. "I would ask if you and Graxx are alright Utar, but I believe the condition of your armor speaks for itself." She goes on to say upon returning to the entryway. "Unfortunately, even if I had the strength for more grandiose magic, such spells are not exactly apart of my current repertoire of formulas. But perhaps once we're back in town we can see if anything can be done, hm?"

Frantically turning his attention to Lightbringer and it's condition after coming into contact with the enormous puddle. Checking it over for damage and catching the ruin of his armour in the corner of his eye the whole time, he mumbles more than a few prayers to Torm.
"The armourer's are going to charge me a pretty penny for this, but it's done it's job. I couldn't ask for more."
Then, from nowhere, a wave of tiredness hits the half-orc, he slumps down. "I hate this place. I don't want to spend a moment longer here than we have to, but, I think we need to regroup before we open that final door."
"Well, technically there's two final doors, Utar, or so one can hope. But I imagine that one-..."Obsben gestures over to door near Graxx. "-is likely to be some kind of pantry, maybe? Still worth a gander, I suppose. Though I do fear we'll just wind up running into more of those ooze creatures or worse back there."She admits with a half-smile and shrugs towards the end. "Up to you all on that one. Either way, though I most definitely don't disagree with ya... well..... By my recollection, there's still a bit of time in the day 'fore we can rest all proper like, much us our bodies might be saying otherwise. So, might as well, uhm... well, try to do less, uh... intensive work for the rest of the day? Like perhaps some of ya setting out to bring our mounts closer to here, clearing out some of the bodies to make sure they don't rise again, and uh... eh, there's probably plenty more we can do, ya? I know I certainly wouldn't mind having time to have a proper go at our friends books now that we've reached this point."

Neya takes out all of her better healing potions. A few of which the quality is visually more rustic, as if they were handmade.
"We best try and prepare best we can for whatever is left in this - well, I suppose crypt is now the best term for it." She says, offering most of them. "Take these and use them if you need to. I will reserve one for my self."
The group members look at each other, taking stock of their own condition. Lightbringer is just as shiny as it has ever been, its magical sheen protecting it from the monster's acidic nature. The same can be said about Graxx's Vicious Pike. Conversely, Utar's armor set will need detailed repair work but, as Obsben points out, this particular issue will have to wait until the party can reach a skilled armorer back in town.
As the Spiritual Weapon fades in the background, Neya passes a few potion vials around. The party discusses if it is worth chugging them down immediately and/or, as per Obsben's suggestion, simply take up other tasks for the rest of the day that do not include further exploration into potentially dangerous situations. Almost as to illustrate what not to do, the halfling walks up to the other door in the kitchen and confirms her suspicious that it simply connects to a larder. The room is empty and unremarkable, its contents surely either consumed by the "puddles" or rotten into oblivion long ago.
The mention of horses is all that is needed to get Graxx on board. With that, the group heads back to the entrance and begins engaging in more mundane tasks. Graxx and Neya head out of the temple and make their way to the horses. They pet them, check on their food and water, and then relocate the animals to a closer spot to the temple. Utar and Obsben stay at the temple, busying themselves with dragging corpses outside, digging graves, and putting them to rest. Eventually, the whole party gets involved in this time-consuming but respectable task. Long-dead druids are not the only ones to receive this treatment. Swolbolds are also interred outside, whether they were killed by CRAP, traps, or battles against the undead druids. At some point, at least one of the CRAPers has to risk entering the green-key room to recover the half-a-dozen swolbold bodies in there. Someone with a magical resistance to poison volunteers for the task, choking a bit and giving up some of their remaining health in the process, but not enough to significantly worsen their current condition. While all of this happens, Salty Bottom continues to keep an eye on Spernik, who at some point begins whining about his human needs (food, water, bathroom-break).
The issue of the desecrated circular crypt room remains. Although CRAP gives the top portion of the bisected undead snake the same treatment as the other bodies, the bottom part of the now dead serpent slipped back into the pool of water. (Is anyone taking a dive?)
The team also takes the opportunity to re-check each already-explored-room in the temple, just to confirm they are not missing anything. The only thing they come across are those gems still attached to the pillars in the mess hall. Now that time permits it, the group sees no harm in plucking those gems from their sockets and putting them into a pouch. (Someone should add "bag of gems (300gp)" to their inventory.)
All of these tasks take a large chunk of the remainder of the day. At some point the party sits outside for an hour-long break by a campfire. They discuss their plans for further exploration, remembering the colorful robes they collected inside. Will they resume their exploration right away or are they ready to call it a day and pick it up from where they left in the morrow.
(OOC: Feel free to chug potions and take a Short Rest here. Will you follow that up with a Long Rest or will you go on? @Ori: I assumed the reading part was reserved for the potential Long Rest.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Refusing to take one of Neya's potions, Utar instead throws himself into busy work. He's fairly sure a Kelemvorite might have done a better job and his prayers over the bodies get a bit haphazard towards the end, but he remembers to bless the druids with particular reference to nature and says the words over the swolbolds in Draconic.
Muscles aching and crying out for rest, Utar instead busies himself making a rudimentary camp within the now cleared rotunda. "We've rations you can eat, Spernik, you won't go hungry. I'll even take you outside if you need to make water. Mind though, those bindings stay on, so if you're needing your arse wiped, best keep quiet. I ain't wiping it."
(OOC Spending all of Utar's remaining hit dice. 41.)
Obby certainly took up the offered potion with a grin and "thanks", if only to squirrel it away for later. Soon after and despite being the one to make the suggestion, Obsben almost immediately regretted it upon realizing just how much heavy lifting would be involved on her part. And yet, her complaints are kept to the bare minimum and usually came in the form of jokes about some entity named 'Muscle Dad'. At one point she also muttered something about half-wishing she'd learn a bit of animation magic. Though the moment Utar overheard and probably started giving her a stern look, her reply is a nonchalant, "Don't worry. This timeline me doesn't dabble in that sort of thing."
When it came to the actual burial of the dead, the little woman is respectfully silent and with a dagger etched into the one of the stone pillars what she figured the kobolds name to be. As for the pool, a certain of temptation gnawed at her to take a dip if only for the exploration. Who knew what symbols or runes could even be found etched into the bottom or along the sides! But... she'd wait for Graxx and Neya to return to see if either or might be willing to take the plunge instead and get the rest of the snake out first at the very least.
Once it finally came time to truly take a break(if only for a bit), Obsben puts off indulging in books to instead play with Basil a bit, and regale the group with a tale about their own venture so far! That is, one with a bit more liberties taken to give it that extra cohesive zest to reinforce the group's confidence in their abilities and the righteousness of their cause!
-> Short Rest Healing(Bard-2): 14 HP regained. -> Story of Rest Healing(for all): 1. -> Inspiring Tale: 13 Temp Hp.
.... And yet, for all the work she put over the hour and thensome of hype manning and adding her own few tidbits on future planning, even her spirits started to flag a little as her gaze inevitably fell upon the condition of Utar's armor. "...You know... it's probably not /all/ that late 'n all still. But... we are all in agreement about leaving the last door for the morrow, yes? It's not as if we're in too big a hurry. And I bet it's not often the rest of you get to actually take it easy on these sort of expeditions." Obsben said. Once able to reaffirm the group's intent for a longer rest, she more than happily began pulling out Spernik's books for a more thorough reading for the rest of the day and perhaps a little thensome.
(OOC: @Drache - Since you're the curator of the bag of holding last I check, think its safe to assume Neya has the bag of gems.)

"What would have happened to Glory if we perished in that forgotten tomb... You would have been left to starve out here and die a slow death... At no fault of your own..."
Graxx ponders on this... He can't let Glory just roam free no... Maybe when he gets back to town in the future he can get some type of enchantment that would untie itself if his heart stopped beating. Could such a thing exist? Maybe.
Graxx never feared death but now he has little voice in the back of his mind reminding him that if he and the group fail. All the steeds would starve. He cannot allow that.

Since the bindings are not being removed, you spend some time being Spernik's personal helper, which include washroom breaks without the specified wiping.
@Obsben: When it is time to take a break, you not only tell a healing tale but also ensures the group is revitalize (with temp HP) afterward (but before the long rest).
@Graxx: You make a mental note of the type of enchanted rope you'll seek for in the future and take a dip into the foul water. Swimming downward for some 20 or so feet, you come across many sets of lose bones, no doubt belonging to the snake's previous victims. They include two recent swolbolds as well. One of the skeletal fingers still wears a wooden ring lined with white fur. It feels magical to the touch. You eventually bring up not only the ring but also the fresh swolbold bodies and the other half of the snake. They are all buried properly. (Please roll a CON saving throw.)
@Neya: Each pillar is expertly carved to resemble five chromatic dragons, supporting the ceiling with their forelimbs. You gather this has similar religious significance to the carving of Tiamat you found in a couple of the doors.
Your short rest within the rotunda is completed successfully (including Song of Rest and Inspiring Leader):

Utar recovers 42 HP and gains 13 temp HP once the short rest is completed.

When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
@Utar: Chores completed, you tend to Spernik. He has his own portions of food and water in his own backpack so you do not feel the need to share your own.
Visual reference for the wooden ring:
(OOC: Please deduct a ration from each of your inventories. Please go ahead and set watches and roll perception checks for the long rest. Without a source of light, Obsben must roll her perception check at disadvantage.)
(OOC: Rations deducted!)
Perception: 8.
(Last watch preferred, but any is fine.)
(OOC: And while it wouldn't help with the con save, if given the ring to identify sooner than later, she'll prestidigitation it before handling it... As well as using it on SPernik if he starts to stink. >.>)
