"If asking Eku to deliver the message is what you are hinting at, we better have Krav or Kaslo ask that of her. They are traveling with her the longest. I'm sure she understands the gravitas of the situation but I don't know." Drita looks concerned.
Krav just hears Drita's translation and the last of Kvothe's suggestion as he enters the inn. He walks over to the bar, but is unwilling to try to climb on one of the stools.
"Humph. Eku? I need to pay her! But she might be willing to deliver some message for us, if we need it. I may just need to pay her some extra," Krav tells Drita. He looks around and spots Eku dangling upside down from the ceiling.
"Ah, Eku. I think Kaslo and i need to pay you? And if so, would you be willing to deliver a message for us? I could pay you extra, of course! Humph."

Krav calls Eku over and she gets off the pole with a big smile on her face. "I haven't danced like that in a long time. I hear you guys are hunting pirates? As for a message. I will deliver one for you. Where is it to? You have me for two more days but to be honest, if you are hunting pirates I would rather just stay in Port. Pirates are not my thing unless you need a guide to take you there. But from what I heard you are sailing on The Brazen Pegasusis captained by Ortimay Swift. You really don't need my services and I would rather not take your money to work on my tan for two months. Some other guides would jump at the chance but I feel we built up a relationship and do not wish to tarnish it."
Solis cheers Eku's pole dancing and, for some unknowable reason, is tempted to throw a gold piece at her, but he curbs the impulse.
"So, Eku delivers the message, we go after the pirates. I like that plan; we leave tomorrow?" Solis looks around focusing on Yellow in particular when he asks the question.
"Well that was something Eku." Drita says blushing a little. "The message is to Camp Vengeance. When we stopped there I was given a note to translate from Grung while we were in Port. It's urgent." Drita's face is no longer flush and she is very serious and worried. "I would be willing to personally pay for your troubles," she looks at Eku as she says this, "As a favor to my friends in the Order."

Eku looks at Drita and then at Krav. "If you wish me to deliver this message for you I would Krav. And I do like Yellow and the Order has been good to me. I will tell you what. I will take my time and do it for you. I won't charge you anything for it as well. I might do some jobs while you are away hunting pirates but I will be back here in Port in 45 days if you need my services. What say you?"
Drita hands Eku the note and the transcription she wrote with the translation. "Thank you Eku. I hope to see you and adventure more when we return. May Horus bless you journey, as well as ours"

Yellow watches Eku leave, then looks around at Kvothe, Drita and Krav. "I think I'll visit my family tonight before we leave tomorrow. I'll see you all later or in the morning."
Kaslo wishes everyone good luck at breakfast and heads off to find Syndra at Wakanga's Manor.
"I feel it would be prudent to check in with Syndra, and update her on the progress of our task"
You make your way to Wakanga's Villa and knock on the door, after a few moments one of Waknaga's servants answer the door and realizing who you are he lets you in a brings you to the room where you all originally met.
Syndra is sitting in the chair next to the fireplace and is completely covered in bandages with a heavy robe on and a hood pulled over her head.
"Kaslo, good morning. What brings you to Wakanga's? Did you solve the Death Curse yet?"
She begins coughing and you notice a little blood on her bandaged hand.
"I jest, If the Death Curse was lifted I would be regaining my strength not losing it. How may I help you Kaslo?"
Kaslo smiles at her joke. "Even on death's door, ye find humor in the situation. I admire that"
He takes a breath, "We've had a tough go of it, I'll be honest. Just myself and Krav, the other fellow Dwarf are all that remain of the original party. We filled our party with a mostly trusty worthy group, a number of them members of the Order of the Gauntlet. We agreed to help the Gauntlet and resolve a supply and equipment shortage for their outpost Camp Vengeance. That's what brings us to town"
"We've stayed in town longer then i'm comfortable with. Some have become side tracked with the attractions of town, and I fear they may have lost sight our our greater purpose. We are suppose to heading out in the next day or two, and will resume our quest."
"I simply felt since we were in Chult, that I would check in with ye, and give you an update on our status."
"I'm sad to hear about your party members and I pray that their souls will not be eaten by the soulmonger before the death curse is lifted. As for staying in town longer than expected. The jungle is a harsh place and a little rest from it is fine now and then. And besides striking it rich in a lost temple or ruin you can make great money in town to finance your expeditions and gain better experience for the trials that take place in the jungle. But I thank you for the update and hope you find a cure to this dreadful curse. I hear it is getting worse by the day and important people all over Faerun have been lost because of the curse. It seems that only the two of you are the ones that are under my employee. The rest have no obligations to help you in finding the Soulmonger and destroying it."
Kaslo appears to be more at ease hearing what she has to say.
"Aye, it's true the others aren't under your employment, but they have their reasons for wanting to put a stop to the Curse. I will report back once we have more information or further progress."
Kaslo says his goodbyes and takes his leave back to the Inn.
Drita looks at Yellow and Kvothe, "Did you ever have any luck getting the letter to Jessamine? I might give it a try if you don't mind. I could pose as a sort of emissary since I am not from the far east?"

Yellow frowns a little at Drita. "We were never able to see the princess ourselves, but her man took it and assured us she would receive it. For the Order's sake, I hope he is honorable." The tabaxi turns to look at Kvothe, but addresses all of them. "Now, if I can get to my parents' soon enough, I might get a free meal out of it. You coming?" she asks the tiefling with a wink.
Yellow, Drita, and Kvothe have a great time at Yellows parents house. You had a traditional Chultan meal of cooked dino meat with some steamed Ryath Root and other veggies and for dessert, Sinda Berries mixed into milk to make a nice creamy shake. Everyone hears some embarrassing stories about Yellow and she threatens you guys to never say anything to anyone. When you are done her parents give you all leftovers to bring with you (2 rations worth each to add to your sheets) and Yellow's mom hugs her tight and you can tell she doesn't want to let her go but finally does before they close the door and go to bed for the night. The walk back to the Inn was a pleasant one and everyone slept well.

The 10th day of the Third Tenday
Apprioximately 6 am
As the sun begins to rise you find yourselves in the Harbor District in front of The Brazen Pegasus. Standing in front of the ship is a small rock gnome, wearing thigh high leather boots with matching leather shorts. Her long red hair flows down past her ass and she has a scimitar hanging from her belt on her right side and a dagger strapped to her left boot. Her 'bra' if you want to call it is made out of leather and has small spikes on it. She is wearing a large red floppy hat and is swigging from a bottle of some dark brown liquid. She notices you walking towards her and smiles.
"Greetings Solis and Taggart, These your friends? Climb aboard and let's get underway."
As everyone gathers on board the Pegasus the crew begins to get her seaworthy, within fifteen minutes you are sailing out of the dicking slip and out towards the bay of Chult.
The sea ahead roils and churns, and waves crash over the bow of your ship, driven by saw-toothed hills rising from the heaving foam. Water streams off the rising crags like rivers crashing down a mountainside. At last the emerging island stops growing in size, although the sea around still tosses your ship like a drifting feather. Then a huge blast of steam erupts from the waves, and through the drifting, rainbow-crossed mist, you see an immense beak and a milky eye the size of a hogshead cask staring blindly in your direction. As the water calms, you also spot a dozen or more shark fins circling the ship.
Aremeg begins to circle the ship slowly as he speaks in Draconic which no one seems to understand. Captain Swift looks towards Taggart. "You're up champ. He only speaks Draconic and Aquan so you will have no idea what he is blabbering about. Just pay him. I would suggest getting a sack and show him what you're placing in it. When you think you have enough throw it overboard. If he is happy with it he will leave us be and go back under the sea. If he isn't happy you will know and have to throw more in. "
"If asking Eku to deliver the message is what you are hinting at, we better have Krav or Kaslo ask that of her. They are traveling with her the longest. I'm sure she understands the gravitas of the situation but I don't know." Drita looks concerned.
