"What happened??" Zim muttered foggily as he bolted upright upon receiving the healing.
The laughter Zim had heard as he went down now welcomed him as he regained consciousness. No, that wasn't right, the sound came from the clattering lump of metal next to him. He thought he had heard the other boy say something first, but here he was now, yucking it up right in front of Zim. As the fog cleared, Zim saw Kuro and Zahira to his side. Finally recognizing Arthur, he started piecing everything together. Zim choked back a sob as he realized that he couldn't see Zephyro at all! Did that mass of gremlins over there completely surround him? Then, Zim saw Zephyro begin to stand up. Oh no, he was so battered!
Suddenly a fury came over Zim and his ears turned nearly purple with rage. With Arthur collapsed in front of him, Zim pointed his hand crossbow at Red 1. After wiping tears and mucus from his face, he fires

"Kuro, that green menace in the middle needs to go down. You might have a shot" Zim gives Kuro 1d6 Bardic Inspiration.
Zim uses what movement he has left to step back 5 feet to clear a shot for Kuro if he so chooses and the gremlin dies, of course.
Zephyro's fights to stand, that last blow had forced him to drop his sickle. No matter, he still has his fists. Pushing himself to his feet, he wipes some blood off his mouth and fixes his eyes on the blue2. "I will not go down this easily." He grits his teeth and aims a punch at the blue gremlin's face. "Must...take out these spellcasters...before they snare any of us...again."
(Faerie fire affects everything 20ft from the one targeted, so he'd have advantage I think)

Kuro blinks, not really surprised that his spell failed but irritated all the same. Great, now Arthur is down laughing...a lot of help he was. He clenches his teeth, giving Zim a blank look when the bard says he might have a shot... Heh, sure. He might have a shot, but that doesn't mean he won't take everyone else out too.
He scans the room, watching as Zephiro manages to stand (assuming he does) and Zahira also falls prey to the laughter spell (she failed the wisdom save right?). What a mess this is--why did he go and get himself involved? Now what is he supposed to do?
Since Zahira and Arthur are now laughing and have collapsed, that opened up a window of opportunity...but could he manage to cast a spell over them without them getting caught in the crossfire? Even if he did manage that...what if the spell goes wrong? What happens then?
Forcing himself to pick a spell, he decides to stick with the simple ones. If it misses too, then he may have to risk using one of his more powerful spells...hopefully he can finish this without setting everything on fire.
Eyeing the green gremlin, Kuro raises his right hand in front of him and a green flame bursts from his palm. This was one of his father's favorite cantrips--he liked anything with fire really, as it made him feel more connected to his draconic heritage. So naturally Kuro had to learn it...regardless of his lack of draconic connections.
Fixing his glowing eyes on his target, he lifts his hand and thrusts forwards, sending the green flame arcing over Arthur and Zahira to hit the Green gremlin.
(OOC: To Aroc, not sure if I have failed my WIS save as I still don't know if I get to reroll my d6 inspi die and get a six - I asked this in our private thread. But the probability that I fail with even that is high. In any case, I'm at 2HP so I'll probably fall shortly anyway. Nice posts btw, guys!)
Zeph had managed to stand back up running on nothing but raw willpower, it appeared Zephyro himself indeed had a warrior's spirit burning strong. Arthur had found himself watching for a moment, worried but also in awe by such a driving force. A driving desire to be victorious it took Zephyro's entire body and Arthur couldn't help but admire that. Arthur had smiled upon Zim returning up and he was handing orders to Kuro. Arthur himself had even looked to Zim ready to receive any orders or ideas he may had. If he hadn't any for the young paladin he would rush to Zephyro's aid.
Zim using the space between him and the gremlin he was able to fire a crossbolt off! The crossbolt had struck the gremlin! A solid blow taking the beast down. (Kill or KO up to you) Arthur had gripped his blade elated to now have a clear path toward Kuro.
The blue gremlin had managed to dodge just barely (the 9) outta the way from one of Zephyro's strikes! The other however? He landed square it's little nose! Stumbling back the blue gremlin had appeared to barely withstand the blow shaking it's head.
However ready Arthur was to aid his friends he his grin had widened in elation with a slight chuckle. That chuckle however had begun to grow and spread before he had buckled over completely laughing.
"Heh heh.. You guys.. This is.. Not funny? Hehehe.. Hahaha!"
Zahira and Arthur now were succumbed by the blue gremlin's beguiling spells. Kuro had managed to fire a bolt out forward landing into the green gremlins fatty flesh (Being larger than the others) he certainly hadn't stopped the damage and yet.. He seemed rather unaffected with a sneering chuckle it was clear it'd take a lot more to take him down.
The green gremlin had begun to stir and turn the pot infusing some strange sort of magic into the cauldron. Grinning and cackling as it done so. (Uses action/turn to stir the cauldren!)
The red Gremlins had seen Zephyro make another final stand. Turning with short blades and shields they had begun to swing upon him! (3 Red attacks and none will hit him when he is down. So instead they'll dash ahead if Zephyro goes down by a previous attack)

And they stirred/charged cauldren twice. That is all so far this turn I believe.
Kuro's eyes narrow when his spell does next to nothing against the green blob. Great, he should have just risked the more powerful spell earlier, maybe then Zahira wouldn't be down and maybe the green guy would be down instead.
Seeing the spell casters turn to him, his eyes widen and he tries to steel himself against their magical attack. His father had tried to teach him how to close his mind to other's magic, and while he wasn't as bad at it as he was at doing other things...he still wasn't good enough.
A smile tugs at his lips--appearing quite unnatural considering he hasn't smiled once this whole day. "No...got to...fight it..." he thinks. But what's the point? He's already fallen prey...but no...this is so embarrassing. "Useless!" he laughs, clutching at his chest as the laughter serves to further exaggerate the pain in his lungs from his earlier sprint. He wheezes, buckling over as the spell takes hold, "Useless..." He the laughter morphs into half-laughing-half-coughing and he braces himself against the wall in an attempt to avoid falling over.
He looks down at Zahira, he should...do something shouldn't he? But the laughter kept him from moving, both due to the tremors and the pain they caused. "S...someone... Do something!" He says between giggles. "We are all going to die."
Squeezing his eyes shut against the pain and the tears that were starting to form because of it, Kuro forces himself to exhale through his nose. Zim's words from earlier ring through his head... 'you might have a shot'. Maybe he could do better with a more powerful spell. Swallowing, he forces himself to stop shaking and pushes the intruding magic out of his mind. He coughs a few times, and wipes his eyes, hoping that no one thought he was crying.
Thats it, these fat jerks weren't going to get away with this. Even if this spell wound up bringing down the cafeteria on top of them, Kuro might as well try it.
Straightening his posture, he glances down at Zahira...she was going to have to hang on. Right now he can't risk trying to heal her... not that he really knows if he can manage to heal her anyways. That spell was both strangely easy for him but he also had no idea how he learned it. For all he knew it could trigger the...problems, just like the spell he was about to try, and the last thing he wanted was for a healing spell to go wrong. So, he raises both hands summoning three glowing darts that solidify one on either side of him and one above him. He draws back his hands, and then thrusts them forward to send them towards his enemy.
For a moment, he ponders whether or not he should aim them at the cauldron...if he could get rid of that then maybe he could stop whatever magic the green guy is using. ...but what were the odds that he could actually damage the cauldron enough to ruin it? What if spilling the contents wound up worsening the situation? No, better to take out the boss and be done with it. So, he sends all three of the darts hurdling towards the green gremlin.
The green gremlin had laughed at Kuro's strikes until.. The missles had landed two deeper than the other slashing through his fatty flesh! Now he had looked bloodied the wounds from before were beginning to show more clearly even. He however did not look entirely weak in his stance. Kuro had a feeling they at least were past the half way point at taking this guy down. But focusing him down would certainly prove difficult.
OOC Oh and as me and Drezmir talked of. His wild magic can surge 5 or lower instead of just a nat 1. So that triggers it ^^
