The arena: Monster killers.

Today when you step through the door you’re in a grassy, hilly area, in the wide open. 30 got away from you in a line are an ixitxachitl, a kalashtar, a young hook horror, a goblin named jingle jangle, an inkling mascot, and a kender skirmisher. 320 ft away you can see an earthen breastworks sorta deal (providing half cover to anyone standing behind it) and standing behind it are: a human named Hester Barch, an undead named Jelayne, and a herengon sniper. The four of you and your various animals are standing in a line abreast of these things. 

(The blink dog and mastiff will act just after the turns of those who control them.)

“Yoku, you ready to control Rawrer? She’s all yours!” Dolrik says as he pats the neck of Hercule, causing a drop of spittle to drop form its jowels.

Sir Spitz spits, not in any particular direction, to which Count Druman says "I concur."

Nadir Ini: 18

The turn order goes Dolrik, inkling, kender, the think with all the x’s in it’s name that I can’t spell, nadir, yoku,  count, harengon sniper, hook horror, jingle jangle, kalashtar, jelayne, Hester barch (funny, my last name is almost identical to Barch. It’s Barsch.)

Dolrik is up!

Dolrik will cast Bless (2nd level) on Nadir, Count, Yoku, and (what the heck) Rawrer (he bites, right?). He then encourages Hercule to hinder the first attack roll that might target himself.

The inkling moves to 15 ft away and shoots an ink spray at Nadir: Ink Spray (1/Day). The inkling sprays viscous ink at one creature within 15 feet of itself. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of the inkling’s next turn.

The kender makes a hoopak sling attack at Yoku: Attack: 13 Damage: 6

the ixitxachitl moves up and makes a bite attack at Dolrik, with dusadvantage: Attack: 10 Damage: 3

Nadir is up!

“Ouch!”

Concentration check to maintain Bless: 6

Nadir assists Dolric against the creature that attacks him.

Con save: 3 plus 22

Attack(shortsword): 4 plus 22 Damage: 6

Attack(dagger): 1 plus 18 Damage: 2

Nadir assists Dolric against the creature that attacks him.

Con save: 4 plus 11

Attack(shortsword): 2 plus 13 Damage: 7

Attack(dagger): 4 plus 7 Damage: 1

Disadvantage on attacks due to blinded…

Yoku zeros in on the young hook horror,

(Bonus action, casts [spell]Hunter's Mark[/roll] on the young hook horror,, concentration)

Attack young hook horror,, Longbow, bless, Hunter's Mark: 3 (bless) + 19 Damage: 14

One of the attacks hits the deal, and Yoku’s takes the hook horror diwn. Count is up!

What the heck, all the numbers changed in my post and there are two posts now...

These Mindflayers don't take physics seriously because that the Ixitxachitl is kind of a manta ray (an aquatic creature) with zero walking speed.
