(Dolrik plans on keeping Detect Magic always on his prepared spell list. Because it’s a ritual, it doesn’t require the use of a spell slot. The idea is that he will cast it on items we acquire, not during battle but at least before we barter/sell them away.
BTW, what is the DM’s and party’s thoughts on the use of Ceremony, specifically Wedding? Theoretically, we could enter a polygamous marriage and all have +2 to our AC for the next 7 days. It’s kinda cheesy and Dolrik doesn’t have it prepared, but could have it at the end of a long rest.)
I’ll allow it.
So now it’s up to the rest of the party. That and Dolrik will need 25gp worth of powdered silver (which will be consumed in the casting).
Dolrik pulls one side of his mouth over in a side grin and lowers his eyebrows in his best “smolder” look to the rest of the party.
”Rawr” he purrs to all as the seduction begins. (OMG, lol)

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
Quick note though. It’s no surprise that you’re all going to be fighting much more powerful things (such as the kraken and tarrasque, provided you survive that far.) Are you sure you don’t want to save that for the big guys?

Excellent point. Would you consider the “death” of one member to end the whole marriage? The silliest exploit I’ve heard on this is that one party member is a zealot barbarian, they all get married, kill him/her after 7 days, Revivify him/her for no material cost, and start over with a new Wedding. Like I said, cheesy and silly and very DM dependent. I’m not “married” to the idea. I brought it up kind of as a joke after the serious Detect Magic plan.
Why even death? Nowadays a divorce is very common with some people marrying several times. It really only depends where you wish to the draw the line in a fantasy world. Anyway, Nadir is a bit of a romantic and isn’t considering that idea seriously.
”You’d like that, dwarf?! Wouldn’t you? Ha ha ha! Wait, are you serious? Don’t waste a single gray cell on that thought, it’s not happening. I’m married to my sword and I tell you what, it’s a jealous *****. Don’t get on its wrong side, if you take my meaning.” To make her point more clear, she’ll keep her sword close this night and her daggers too for good measure.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Curious, until now I wasn't aware that the forum automatically filters and hides certain words. Guess, I write too polite most of the time...
Nadir's ready to rumble.

Ok, we can get started and Peregrin should show up soon.
The next morning the four of you (without your camel, sadly.) step through the portal/magic door/I haven’t decided yet/ into knee-deep water on a reef. The reef is about ten feet wide, and extents for a long way. 30 feet in one direction, standing on the reef, is a Dwarven Worker. 30 ft the other way is a arrow Spore Servant, and in the water, one in each side of the reef, 30 ft away, is a very angry looking dolphin.
Roll initiative!

I don’t think the death of one member would en it, but I’ll allow it once cause polygamy is actually a thing.
