As Yoku drops the snail, 5 more enemies appear 30 feet away. A Bullywug knight, a Bullywug royal, a giant ice toad, a green hag, and a martial arts adept! Those of you who haven’t yet taken a turn this round may go, and then the enemies will.

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
If you are looking for feedback, I can say that the combat format of 1.2 mon vs 1 pc is pretty good. It's deadly but that forces us to make better choices. 5e has always been brutal when it comes to dog pile tactics and because of monster's high hp you don't need to have high challenge ratings to see that.
I'd love to see you increase challenge to 4 for next round, even if you throw 4 to 6 monsters at us at one time.
The alternative could be to start increasing challenge and decreasing the number of monsters, if you want to draw it out more. Doing 4 monster's at challenge 4 next round then 3 mons at challenge 5 you could even get away with 2 mons at challenge 6 and maybe 1 at challenge 7.
Or mix it up and give us 1 challenge rating 5 next round, that might be cool, 1 then 2 then 3.
Either way, this new harder combat format is working. There have been some tense moments and close calls. Keep it up.

Love the ideas and feedback! I’ll most likely use them soon, keep shaking things up. I’m here to make it fun for you guys and I’m gonna do whatever I can to do the best I can at that. Evil ominous chuckle
This gives me some other ideas that I can use too. Maybe start with more monsters of whatever the day’s base CR is (today’s is 3) and each round go up in CR and down in body count, or if I’m rolling low amounts of enemies stick a couple stronger guys in there with them. So many possibilities!
What are everyone else’s thoughts? Once again, I welcome ideas and feedback from you guys.
(side note, with rolling another roll ok the treasure table which, although not bringing any items is bringing a lot of money, and having amassed nearly 2000 xp each just from this battle, plus two more suits of plate armor if you survive this wave…you’re in good shape)
which reminds me. 5% chance. 5

Returning the sword to his hand while in reach, Count will send it off out at the Toad:
Attack: 3 plus 20 Damage: 6
He then returns to the saddle (I can't remember if he dismounted or.not before) and then rides out to the frog and GFB the Toad, aiming at the knight with the flame:
Attack: 1 plus 12 Damage: 5 plus 4 fire damage and 6 fire damage to the knight.

Are they all clumped together? If not Nadir rides to the ice toad and pushes it towards the other enemies if that would bring it in 10 feet range of 3 or four of them. Athletics: 8 and again if the first one wasn’t successful, 7
If it isn’t possible to move the toad close enough to have at least 3 or 4 of his friends 10 feet around him, she doesn’t shove and attacks the martial adept and bullywog knight. If she shoves once, only consider the first attack.

They’re not completely clumped, the bags in the back with the bullywugs and martial arts adept in front, with the toad far enough ahead of them to not catch them in its cold aura.
It’s possible to shove him close enough to have the knight, Royal, and martial artist in the aura.
The shove is successful! The attack at the martial artist hits too.

The knight goes after Count, hitting him with a crit with his glaive for 8 damage, and hitting Spitz with a 23 for 5.
The Royal goes after Nadir with his spear but doesn’t manage to hit her. He then uses his Croaking Decree.
The toad bites at Nadir but completely misses.
The hag casts vicious Mockery on Yoku! DC12 wisdom save or 4 psychic damage and disadvantage on your next attack roll.
The martial arts adept goes after Nadir! It hits with a 21 for 5 damage and uses its Push feature: Nadir must succeed on a dc13 str save or he pushed 10 ft back, and off her horse.
Any which way, it follows after her and continues attacking her, hitting one more time for another 5 damage. You guys are up!
Remember the 9 cold damage to any of you and your companions who start within 10 ft of the toad.

Yoku makes eyes at the green hag but instead targets the Bullywug Royal in front of her. He uses a bonus action to move hunter's mark to the bullying royal.
Yoku attack 1 1+12+10, damage 1 2+1+7
Yoku attack 2 1+9+10, damage 2 1+4+7
Add colossus slayer extra damage to the second hit, if both arrows hit, +1d8 5
That’ll do it. 3-6 is another wave 8
