Is it 1 hour of downtime, during a long rest, Animal Handling Checks DC 10 or 10 plus all mental stats totaled, whichever is higher, a number of times for each hitdie?

I'll scribe a scroll for 25 gp, to replace my scroll of Hunter's Mark. I still have a scroll of Cure Wounds, I wouldn't mind sharing scrolls with folks who can cast it.
