The Larboard Light. The massive harbor that forms the southern edge of the city is known as the Larboard Light. This upscale dockside region is as lavish as docks come. Dozens of ships come into port every day, carrying goods and gold from all over, and many visitors coming to briefly live like a king with the many amusements the city has to offer.
Walking off the Dragonfly your feet touch solid stable ground for the first time in a few days giving immediate comfort. The hustle and bustle of the Larboard Light quickly takes away that comfort as the amount of people moving about gives an uneasy feeling, especially if you are expected to track these individuals.
Melbytakes off into the sky following the cart that is now loaded with the curious crate that holds Vlad inside. Captain Flame and the crew head down the street a bit to enter the Seaside Inn. The Captainescorts Valewith him saying "Time to keep a low profile, let them track it and await word from them." She nods in agreement and heads to the inn as well.
Watching as the cart is hauled off, they head North into the winding streets. As you split to try and follow them, you quickly realize that the streets do not follow a straight path at all. Looking to the sky you can see Melbystill following and will likely be your best chance at keeping track of them through the maze that is Port Damali.
Zane
With your 17 perception check, you did not spot anyone keeping an eye on you
Bellamy takes in the sights and would like to explore more, but this in not the time for it. He scrunches his nose dissatisfied with the maze like streets. "Time to go up. I will try to follow from the rooftops"
Bellmay climbs atop the nearest building and continues forward moving from rooftop to rooftop.
Rel bids a (sincerely) warm goodbye to the Captain, Zandir, the crew and lastly Vale, making careful note of the Seaside Inn's location.
The Larboard Light takes her breath away. Crowded and filled with variety as Menzoberranzan was and yet so different and colorful. Vibrant even.
She has to force herself to focus, trying not to seem like a gawking tourist as she takes Zane's warning to heart. As the everyone in the party soon realizes that only Melby has a realistic chance of tracking the group with the crate, Rel focuses instead on looking for threats at ground level, and for interesting shops where they might unburden themselves of some of their newly-gained gold.
Looking about you notice this part of town is mostly market stalls of fish and produce. There are a few inns and taverns as well as brothels for the weary sailor. An office to charter ships as well as a shop nearby offering ship repairs. You also spot a massive round white marble building with a golden domed roof, almost screaming that it is a governmental building. There is also a general store that you spot called 'Buy the Way'
Bellamy, climbing up to the rooftops you cannot spot exactly where they have gone with the cart. Looking through Melby'seyes for a moment you do see that the owl is indeed still tracking them.
Bellamy does his best to orient himself towards Melby's direction and keeps moving. Once and while he would signal where he is heading to his companions, by using minor illusion to form brief orange colored arrows on the roof.
Rel tries frenetically to keep mental notes on the large, golden-domed city hall-type civic building and the general store ("Buy the Way"), knowing both may be important later. Pointing them out to any of her companions who seem interested.
But for now, she continues to follow Bellamy's illusory directions from the rooftops.
"Does anyone know this city? What part are we headed to? Out of the Larboard Light?"
Tex is visibly overwhelmed by the sheer size of the city and the chaos in which it presents itself, but he also marvels at the countless sights, wonders of architecture and technology everywhere. Riding atop Lizzy barely allows him to follow his companions but he is out of his waters to contribute to the hunt.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Following Bellamy's direction northward you continue upwards into the The Gilded Esplanade.
The Gilded Esplanade is definitely the most extravagant locale within Port Damali. Each street is lined with the most lauded of artists and performers, with markets lush with expensive wares and high-end imports from around the world. Home to the Auction House and venues for recurring festivities, as well as the spire-like skyport, the Esplanade is known to be the sparkling locale that comes to mind whenever people mention Port Damali.
The auction house, which was thought to be the destination of the crate, is walked right passed by the group escorting the crate. The group continues on further into Port Damali. Melbystill following easily with his keen sight. Bellamytakes a moment between signals to look through the eyes of Melbyand then repeat his directional illusions. The cart continues up into The Crescents.
This affluent area houses competing guild families and well-connected nobles who wish to live near the politics of the city or the delights of the port. The many homes in this area of Port Damali are quite extravagant. As Melby continues to follow, the cart arrives at the gates of a large brick manor. One of the larger buildings in the area, they open the gate and wheel the cart around the back of the building. They unload the crate and enter the building with it. Melbythen returns to you Bellamy.
Still stunned from the emotions of this wild ride, Tex stares at the building. "That's it? Here they went?" He inquires, despite it being obviously the place Bellamy refers to. "What should we do, now? I mean it doesn't sound like a good idea to break into a vampire's house by night. Or -- I'm confused -- who's living here?" Tex looks for any sign of flag or heraldry or anything that could giveaway the owner or his family name.

There are no crests or symbols adjourned to the exterior of the building, however, on the gates entrance there is a nameplate. Old and rusted from being near the salted air of the Lucidian Ocean, it is hard to make out exactly what it says. You can however make out a few letters, B___RW_O_
The house itself on the exterior looks like it has not been kept up with in many years and is almost an eyesore compared to the rest of the manors in this area. Moss crawls up the brick exterior, paint is peeling from the entry door, several shingles have fallen from the rooftop to the thick uncut grassy lawn. The lawn is so overgrown in fact that the walkway to the manor is almost completely covered in mangy thick grass.
Not knowing the history of this land herself, Rel reaches for her fathers angelic Guidance and casts it on anyone she thinks might be able to recall a significant name matching the letters visible on the nameplate at the front gate. (Add 1d4 to any History check).
"Can any of you think of any famous noble or perhaps vampire or necromancer with a name matching that pattern? B___RW_O_?"
You have heard the name Briarwood. Sylas and Delilah Briarwood. Delilah was famous for bringing Vecna into Exandria, while Sylas, her husband was thought dead before Delilah brought him back with Vecna's aid, creating a ritualistic rite to bring vampirism to him. Before they took over Whitestone, they lived in Port Damali. You would assume this was there once home.
Zane says, "We did. It's a dilapidated manor that used to belong to the Briarwoods I believe. They carried it there and took it inside."
He looks at Vale, "We know where your brother is now. I don't know what our next steps should be, but we should definitely take them in daylight. Vampires and their kin are creatures of the night and it would be suicidal to go nosing around there in darkness."
He finally loses the fight with a huge yawn. After that's done he continues, "It's also been a very long and tense day."
Thren speaks up “right then I’ll see if we can get help and assist from the temple of korg you lot want to follow” if they do Thren will start looking for the temple
Bellamy waves off Thren "Well I don't know anything of the Briarwoods, but they seem dangerous. So I agree we should break in during the day." To Thren "I'll stay. Crawling and hopping across rooftops has made me realize my age." he then heads to whoever is in charge of rooms. "How much is it for 1 room and I know its late, but is there any supper left for me to eat?"
