You do you, but if you're playing a sorcerer, you may want to place one of your higher scores in charisma or your spells are not as likely to succeed. Not trying to tell you how to build your character, but you may not have as much fun if your stuff fails all the time.
A wizard may be more appropriate if you want a high intelligence character like you've got
For long ages the Elves of Celador defended their domain vigorously. While many races lived under the supremacy of the elves, the incursion from the outside was violently discouraged. Then, 200 years ago, unbidden, the Elves retracted their defenses, and allowed settlements at the edge of the woods. while their core territories are still guarded, many new cultures have expanded into the area. Our campaign will begin in Daven's Falls, a logging, hunting and portaging community at the base of a moderate waterfall. It lies not too far from the edge of the forest, but is certainly far enough in that the elves of old would not let it exist. Largely settled by humans, with a smattering of other races, it boasts a reputation as a bustling village on the rise, a local trade hub and a self-reliant populace. You have been called to the Sinking Castle tavern to meet with Undermayor Harbin, who you've heard might have a problem in need of your skills.
I pose a question for you all to settle. Which of you are a citizen of Daven’s Falls? Who is from the region in general, and who is a far traveler? Who knows each other already If at all?

Cariadne is a traveller from the big city. She's been in town about a week and has played dice and cards with most of the locals who've come to the tavern in Daven's Falls, so she knows a bunch of people as acquaintances. She has a cousin who lives in the forest but hasn't visited her.
Looking at Cariadne, what big city is she from? I'm assuming not the Elven Capital, so is it like the biggest city in the world, which is quite far, or a more regional human city?

Barbär is not from the region, and may be helping at a blacksmiths shop. But honestly im not sure if anyone else would know him. Maybe a recognition at the most

I'm not sure how you envisage the geography in your world, which is why I left it as "the big city". She's a half elf, so let's say the closest regional human city to the elven kingdom of Celador. Do you have a name for it already, or would you like me to make up a name?
Like Ben, I'm an EST American
Ability scores: 15 11 12 13 11 10

I read that as arsonist in my half open eyes. Lol
An arcanist arsonist is no joke. Pyromancy is a thing.

My original idea is that Bart is a stranger to the area, but I can see him as the type to have been here awhile ago, and kind of forgotten most of it.
