Marigold, in the form of a wolf, is quickly taking in her surroundings. Sight, smell, sound--trying to make sure they're alone before she'd bark and summon her ally.

Brother Tobias shouts, "Impudent Whelp!" at Barbar, as his eyes flash with fire and black and red flames begin forming in his hands.

Bart and Barbar, you beat Tobias in initiative, he has clearly gotten hostile and is summoning magic of some sort to use. Please post your actions, they will occur in post order.

Cariadne, please roll a DC 14 Perception check before you take your action, as it may give you information you would want.

Barbär rushes at Tobias in attempt to disrupt any spell charging he may be doing with a tackle! 

"We need to subdue him, Bart!"

(What should i roll for that DM? A straight d20? Add strength? Or would this be an unarmed strike kind of thing or grapple??)

Bart sees deadly force come up and goes to try to wail on this guy while Babar tackles. He draws a nearly unwieldy long katana and draws back to strike

Attack: 18 Damage: 8 (in case of adv/disadv in situation with Babar) attack 16 

Barbär: It's a grapple, Make a Str (Athletics) Check DC 11. (I prerolled for him.)

Cariadne looks down at the trapdoor to see how Marigold is getting along. perception 17

A tackle is a grapple, which succeeds. He can’t move, essentially.  The rules are fuzzy in my head as to how to stop somatic components of spells but I’m gonna rule you need a second successful grapple check next round.

Barbar successfully grabs Tobias while Bart’s blade fails to connect.

Red and black flames explode from Tobias, Bart and Barbar, give me DC15 Dex Saves.

Cariadne hears something behind her and briefly sees the shimmer of a small invisible humanoid shape trying to push her down the trap door.  Cariadne is up, then the invisible thing.
