So you have magical darkness covering the north and south passages. Elsara can sense this. There's no magical darkness in the east passage. There's smell of rats. There are rat sounds in the rat passages. No sounds in the east one.
“I can’t see through those two hallways,” Gendan says while pointing North and South. “Perhaps we should start this way.” She gestures to the east passage, readies her weapon, and carefully proceeds.
Val, I assume you are going down the east path. You slowly walk down the east corridor. It's a very long and winding corridor (More than 200 ft). While moving through the corridor, you notice an oddly shaped crack on the wall. Moving further you notice a large metal door that's become brown with rust. It is laying open and you believe that it would take a lot of effort if you wanted to close this door thanks to all the rust.
The door is wide open so peeking or even going through the door isn't a issue. If you wanted to close it, that would be a problem.
Now, why would you want to go thorough that much effort to close an open door? Well, when Val peeks through the door, he sees web hives and four huge spiders in their webbed nests. Their legs are more than twice the length of their slender dark gray bodies. Their legs end in two sharp chitinous hooks which are about the length of small knives. They have sharp long hook like pincers at the end of their mouths. They have a shorty dull yellow line on their abdomens and on their claws. The spiders don't notice Val. Suddenly closing the door doesn't seem all that unimportant.

Val goes back to the others and growls silently to take them a little bit far away from the door. He then uses one of his pawns to draw in the dirt a crude corridor with a door in the side where the door is and then, at the other side he draws a crude spider but as big as he can, and then barks lowly four times.
( DEX to see how well he draws with his pawn? 21 this is beign funny :) )

Looking back it seems Gendan also went and Runt seems to want to follow the group (at least that's how I interpret it). Poke is probably not going to be here until 3rd January so I'm assuming Elsara went too since she doesn't want to stay alone.

I got a 24 on post #3514 but I don't know if that was enough to go look and retreat :)
Edit: Well it seems that you will notice the presence of the spiders soon enough. A pity... I liked the idea of the wolf drawing the spiders with the pawn XDD )
Volf takes the party away from the door and draws the picture in the rubble. He actually manages to draw the picture pretty well. He barks softly four times. Turns out, barking softly in Wolf form is a lot harder to pull off than speaking softly in elf form. Especially with wolf vocal cords. As Val barks, you hear a chittering sound and a sixth sense that fills you with a sense of "Oh Shit".
You have exactly one turn before a spider passes through the door and one additional "mental turn" to do nothing more than react to both Val's drawing and the spider sounds. You better make the most of it or you'll have a CR 5-7 spider in your face.
"You guys coming, too?" Gendan hollers up to Runt and the others.

Val how far are you and the party from the door?
I'll say that between 30-40 ft from them.

Val roll stealth, beat a 16 to not alert them to your presence.

Actually that still happened.

( Could be possible to run back, turn back into his elf form and cast a Thunderwave to see if that closes the door?)

(Yeah you can do that. Before I describe the outcome of that action, I will wait to see what the others do)
