Leek lunges with gaping maw and manages to sink his teeth into vile tasting flesh. The creature lashes out...
Bite Attack: 2 Damage: 5
... completely missing Leek who is hunched down busy spitting out the chunk in his mouth. The creature screeches, "I must not fail at my task! I must be able to see!"
Katerielle panther bites at the eye monster so kind to give it's position by shouting.
Bite: Attack: 10 Damage: 8
(I think Leek's DireWolf has that ability where if an ally is attacking the same creature it is, he gets advantage. Advantage from it and disadvantage from the fog means normal roll, correct?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Yes, you are correct. My mistake... but it worked out correctly anyway.)
Panther Kat leaps up at the sound the creature is making but the fog distorts sounds as well as blocks sight. She comes back down to the ground after getting a mouthful of fog.
Rindelk and Kitryn continue their random attacks...
Rindelk Firebolt Attack: 18 Damage: 2
Kitryn crossbow Attack: 15 Damage: 9
... both disappointed to not hear the impact or pain of the creature.
Leek jumps into the air and snatches an eye stalk, dragging the creature down to floor level. The creature screams in pain and rages, "Blind I can't guard. I failed!". As Leek clamps down on the eye stalk and thrashes to rip it free from the body, it just vanishes from his mouth, a soft 'pop' can be heard and a slight swirling of the mist can be seen.
The combatants continue to strike in the air for a few more minutes and it is not until Rindelk's Fog Cloud dissipates that you confirm the creature is gone. Elila keeps watch outside, but nothing approaches.
Katerielle panther changes back into her elven self. Her hair is a little frazzled and she has an angry scowl as she rounds on the dire wolf," What the hell was that, Leek? I asked!! You don't do that to your team mates!" She yells at him indifferent to what creatures might hear.
Leek transforms back. He looks around in anguish for the creature, his burning need to bleed it and his obvious inability to do so causing him great anxiety.
"I didn't do anything to my teammates," he mumbles quickly, still looking frantically for the creature. "I didn't ask for your help. You could have cowered in the other room like the Goliath. It needed to be bled. It still needs to be bled. "
Leek breaks off into low mumbling of "It needs to bleed" as he continues to search the room for the vanished creature.
Given the small size of this room, it is obvious the creature has no where to hide in it. It left... somehow.
(It's a shame that this kind of roleplaying is happening now, at the very end of the campaign. But rest assured, to the rest of you, this fits exactly into Leek's backstory. He's not just being a difficult player. The three of you can all have DM inspiration for acting out the way your characters would given the situation.)
The clearing of fog and the cessation of fighting sounds draws Elila back into the room, Finally, that took long enough, she thinks.
She addresses Leek and says "And you, your ass must be envious of your mouth with the crap that comes out of it! Calling me coward eh? I'm thinking it's more cowardly to attack an innocent creature that did you no harm."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Yeah sorry. This is the character. The mistake I made is that he should have attacked the thing the first time he saw it, but the outcome would be the same!
Leek mumbles "Agents of evil are never innocent, and their existence harms the earthly plane. Now if you are done protecting them, we can finish this mission and go off on our own paths."
The look of anger on Katerielle's face changes to disgust. " no. I am sorry to say, your inability to recognize your betrayal of us makes that impossible. At least for my part. Choose your path out of this room, I shall choose another." Katerielle replies softly.
Katerielle panther bites at the floating creature with disadvantage from the fog.
Bite attack: Attack: 10 Damage: 4
(No advise other than to wait until they can see or for Kitryn to sneak in for a sneak attack if she can find it.)

Rindelk and Kitryn both continue to shoot blindly at where they think the creature is speaking from...
Rindelk Firebolt Attack: 11 Damage: 5
Kitryn crossbow Attack: 14 Damage: 5
Both miss badly, erring too much towards caution.
END OF ROUND 5, NOW LEEK'S TURN.
Elila wonders how long this fight may carry. It has been going on a while now, the creature that they betrayed must be extremely resilient.

Direwolf Leek spaced-out for a bit. He will try to bite another eye stalk off: Attack: 9 Damage: 5
EYES TASTE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!
(You didn't roll disadvantage.)
Rolling: 11

DM: Direwolf Leek gets advantage for being in melee with a teammate. He gets disadvantage for being blind. They cancel out. I roll straight.
Direwolf Leek will continue chowing down on the watcher. HE MUST BE KILLED AND BLED. Attack: 22 Damage: 10
