Round 5 Results (final)
Nosam hits R13 for 9HP, and the man, a tall, long-armed fellow, curses in pain.
Berry moves past Daphyra, engaging two of the Redbrands and readies an attack with his shield.
Vidruth moves behind Nosam and splatters Redbrand 13 with flame. The man, stout and muscular, groans as his clothes light on fire. The groan quickly escalates to a screech, he twists off the bridge accidentally and plummets to land motionless as the flames die back down in the strange cold of the crevasse.
“Look at ‘im! He’s wearing ketch’s cloak! Bet they thought they’d try to pass as im!!," one of the Redbrands shouts.
As the bugbears -- one of them still pulling caltrops from his back, consider the Redbrand's statement while cracking their knuckles and getting ready to launch themselves at Nosam, the Redbrands surround Berry. Redbrands 6, 8, 14, and 15 attack him. Berry may decide when to employ his triggered action, or not to do it at all.
With 0 HP, Marten, Kiselina and Daphyra may not take actions. However, they may move 5’, speak weakly, and with very little strength, interact with objects. If death saves reach "3 deaths" that will mean the character enters a coma or shock, and no activity of any kind will be possible.
Daphyra, Marten, and Nosam may take Round 6 actions in any order.
Daphyra crumples to the floor, the redbrand's blade sliding away from her bloodstained fur as her aura of twilight dissipates. She drags herself to J9, fossicks in her pouch to retrieve a stick of incense. She gasps "My Goddess... please..."
Nosam wants to move across the bridge to help Berry but he knows he must finish these immediate threats first. Nosam swings at B2 and immediately surges into a second swing. "Trying to get there Mister Berry, hold tight."
Action- Hit 10 (5+5), Damage 5 (2+3)
Bonus Action- Action Surge (2nd attack on B2, if B2 already down please position and attack B3)

( @Randelic - Bless spell ended when Kiselina was KO’d. No more +1d4. Please confirm.)
Almost as soon as Marten loses consciousness, his eyes flutter open. He doesn't remember falling, but his cheek is resting on the floor, and he can still feel his bow in his left hand. Marten is facing south, into the chamber with the crevasse, and all he can see (in his sideways view of the world) is a sea of Redcloaks swarming into the chamber after his friends. But he also hears footsteps shifting near him, probably guarding the path to the wizard.
The confidence he had felt from the blessing of Bahamut and the safety he felt from Daphyra's Twilight Sanctuary have both dissipated. Have they already been killed?, he wonders. He hears Vidruth and Berry beyond the sea of Redcloaks and fears for his friends. Completely boxed in and with no place to hide, Marten despairs. We've failed, he thinks. This is where we die. He forces himself to keep his eyes half-open, unblinking. Maybe his last act is simply to bear witness to their last stand.

Berry’s shield slams into R14, sending the man sprawling with the unexpected attack. Indeed, the ruffian loses his grip on his blade, which falls, spinning, into the crevasse.
Marten notes that neither Redbrand is looking at him. In fact the closer one is facing into the crevasse chamber, loading a crossbow. The man standing in the secret doorway through which the mob issued likewise holds a crossbow, guarding the entry, craning his neck to watch the battle.
Nosam moves to stand over Kiselina’s motionless body and strikes forcefully at the bugbear facing him, but the tall creature has a longer reach and Nosam hasn’t opportunity to close. His hammer clacks uselessly against the bugbear’s armored bracer and when he strikes again, the creature catches Nosam’s arm in its grip, attempting to throw the dwarf into the crevasse.
Nosam, roll a contested strength save vs DC 7 (the Bugbear’s roll), or fall into the cleft, taking 7HP bludgeoning damage and landing prone).
Bugbear 3 slinks into the chamber but stands back, still clawing around itself and trying to remove caltrops from its back, its shifty eyes on Nosam.
Berry, Kiselina and Vidruth may now act in any order.
"Vidruth! Explode something in their faces! I don't want to see them anymore!" yells Berry, who knows that his instinct would let him duck away quick enough. Then, he draws his shortsword and directs two strikes at the redbrand nearest to Daphyra (R15). "If we make it out alive of this mess, I owe you more than a silver coin, milady", he mutters a prayer to Tymora.
Action: Scimitar @R15, hit 24 for 7 damage Bonus: Shortsword @R15, hit 11 for 8 damage
action: cast thunderwave, hitting: R6, R8, R9, R10, R11, R14, and Berry. each must make a DC 13 constitution save, taking 6 thunder damage and being pushed back 10' on a failure, or 3 damage and no push on a success (why do i always roll low on this spell)
"got it" vidruth replies, only hesitating for a moment, if berry thinks its worth it he is probably right, besides hes not going to get a better shot. with a word and a gesture he releases another crash of sound and force in front of him

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?
quote from Romantically Apocalyptic byVitaly S Alexius
Before Kiselina stands an elderly man with the trappings of a mage, songbirds flit about. The chamber is empty, dimly lit but without its red cloaked occupants nor that treacherous one-eyed monstrosity.
“Home? I beg your pardon kind sir, I don’t understand. Perhaps you could elaborate on your statement?”
The Paladin stands, several deep wounds evident on his body though no longer seeping blood.
“Where am I, who are you, and…where are my companions? But mostly, what do you mean by ‘home’?”
Nosam resists the bugbear and yanks his hammer free, headbutting the tall, hairy goblinoid in the process.
Berry’s scimitar slices Redbrand 15, a younger, swarthier version of the others, with a pointed goatee. He snarls in pain, but parries Berry’s short sword attack.
Vidruth has to wait his moment, leaping onto the wooden bridge when the bugbear pulls Nosam toward it, but once there, the wizard's thunderous blast… (CON: 17, 6, 4, 12, 11, 13) sends four of the Redbrands sprawling. The Redbrands who had been standing back, watching, hungrily waiting their turn, are slammed against the cavern wall, taking additional bludgeoning damage.
Redbrands 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are tangled up in each other’s limbs, weapons and armor and spend their turns untangling themselves.
Satisfied with Vidruth's spell effect, Berry relaxes a bit but his opponents are relentless. They keep picking at him in concert with a precision that is second to none. He can't block a single blow and desperately misses his shield as he succumbs to the overwhelming force.
Nosam's glad he didn't wind up tossed over the edge, but knows his current situation will only get worse if one of these bugbears isn't handled quickly.
Berry keeps his shield for defense for a couple of attackers before he flings it at one of them. (If I have to give a number: 3. This was the first.)
