Holg rushes up to the undead creature in the doorway and with one hand he strikesdown on the monster with his rapier.
Move to: C7
(OOC: Hope the auto dice roller works!)
Attack: 20 Damage: 3
Holg looks back at Dathyra and begins to beat his fist against his chest in a rhythmic fashion. "Feel the blood pumping through you Dathyra! This is the good stuff right here!"
Jodon takes one step towards the door and uneasily draws his crossbow. He shifts slightly as he feels the familiar energies begin to course through him. Jodon shouts to the team, "the Tiefling and the Half-Orc have the right of it! Stand together, nothing can stand before us!"

Sly pulled out his short bow and moved to so he could see the closest monster and pulled back arrow. A feeling of wanting to protect these estranges he just met came over him as he let go of the string and unleashed the arrow.
The man standing beside the body throws his cloak wide and snatches out a small silver mirror. He yells, "Don't destroy it!" and after a few words of incantation, blows across the mirror. A thin bluish sheen appears like a protective shield all around the decaying creature. He then snarls out a second incantation, pointing towards Holg.

As Holg and Sly rushed into the fray, she heard the man's incantations. While she didn't understand them fully, she knew based on their situation that it was a dark and dangerous magic. She feared for their safety. She rushed into the ransacked kitchen, spotted the living man muttering the spells, and went for him.
Dathyra moves to B4 (let me know if that doesn't work).
There's no issues with any of your attack, but just so you're aware bardic inspiration lasts for ten minutes and you can use it after seeing your d20 roll. I'll clarify this round of combat after Holg's save.
Since they are both concentration, Guidance dropped when I cast Bless, but Bless is also a d4, so it all comes out even. Help you help me, that's my motto :D
Seeing Holg strike the rotting creature seemed to invoke a sense of madness in the man across the room. Even more so when a couple ribs came exposed to the slash across its chest. Sly's arrow zipped across the room slamming into and through the undead thing, causing a chunk of back flesh to slide free of it and fall to the floor. The spell energies gathering in the man's hand were cut too short though as Dathyra's mace slammed home, breaking a couple fingers in the process. Dathyrahad the full ire of the man now as he pulled back his ruined hand. A decayed fist punches out from the creature fighting Holg, which Holg moves his sword to intercept, but the creature proves quite strong and punches through the defense. Holg takes a solid punch to the chest from the ordeal.
Holg takes 4 damage from the punch. The spell from the man failed.
Holg feels his breath escape him for a second as the punch lands. As he begins to fall backwards from the blow, Holg regains his footing. Reversing his momentum, he takes his rapier with two hands and thrusts it toward the creatures heart, unknowing if the organ is still even present.
OOC: I wanted to move to C7, to block the creature from entering the room.

Jodon swallows hard and rushes into the room. With surprising competence, he draws a crossbow, muttering "thanks, dad." He points it at the man, but falters. Spinning around, he sees the horror confronting Holg, and fires at it without hesitation. Not bothering to see if the bolt struck home, he retreats to the corner of the room, shaking.
Jodon would like to run to point B6 on your map (C6 if needed to avoid cover), fire, and then retreat back to A7.
Holg's rapier slides into the monster's chest easily until it hits something hard. There is a small snap and then Jodon's bolt hits it in the right shoulder. The momentum of the bolt coupled with the breaking of the spine cause the upper part of its chest to pop and bend weirdly. It's right arm falls limp, but it still comes forward to attack.

Sly looks around and aimed his bow at the undead and just let it go trying to just kill it so they could get done and hissed in infernal. " Leave my companions alone!"
Sly's arrow proves too much for the structure of the creature and it topples over backwards laying very still now. The man screams out in anger, his eyes falling to each of the intruders. With another scream of rage, he utters the same incantation from earlier, this time aimed at Sly. After casting the spell he takes off through the nearby archway.
Sly please roll a dexterity save. Dathyra, his movement away from you provokes an opportunity attack if you'd like to use your reaction for that.
Not sure what happened with your dice roller, but it's going to slide this once. If the message appears again though, there's no way to know if it was on purpose or not so it's going to fail. Also, Sly don't forget to add your plus to your d20 rolls when attacking. It might matter on a stronger enemy. ;)

Dathyra had felt pretty bold moments before when she took a swing at the man, but as he glared at her, that burst of confidence suddenly waned. She breathed a sigh of relief when he didn't take the chance to throttle her in his rage. Instead, he tried to cast a spell and make a run for it. Realizing they could lose him, she lunged for another swing to stop him before he could get too far.

Golden fire flares up and Sly pushes back flat against the wall avoiding any of it's burn. Dathyra lashes out with her mace just as the man turns to flee. A cracking wet thud is the only sound as the mace connects with the base of his neck. He crumples in a heap against the tiled floor. Things settle down and no other threats are immediate.
Dathyra flinched when she realized what she had done, and the blood on the end of her mace confirmed it. She had never actually killed a person before. Her stomach lurched as she glanced at the man lying on the floor, and she resisted the urge to throw up. She had to stay focused. "Ev...everyone alright?" she stuttered, thinking that her concern for her companions would help her keep a steady head.

Jodon winces at the dull sound of the mace connecting with bone, and then hurries over to check on the fallen man.
