(Quorthon searches around the floor for footprints. There's footprints all over the place, as the Goblins seems to have been here for a while. There's a few less traveled areas near the East Wall where the footprints look a little more clear.)
DMs note: There is no wall near the more well traveled areas. I'm going to just roll with this.
(Sturm and Sklin'oth search around some more. Sturm looks around between the Brazier and the East wall, searching meticulously. He finds something in the dirt near the Brazier, a small pellet you recognize as a Stink Bomb.
Sklin'oth searches near the East wall, and, after a few moments, manages to find a hidden doorway built into the wall behind some Ivy. The door easily opens, revealing a short passageway.)
(Quorthon goes back along the way they came, trying to be stealthy, but accidentally kicking a rock that clangs and echoes. Luckily, there doesn't seem to be anyone around to hear it. He looks around the area in front of the entrance, but he just sees the bodies of the Goblins you all killed a little while ago.)
Spoiler for Quorthon:
You remember that the Goblins mentioned something about a Patrol when you were walking towards them. Hmm...
"They assumed I was one of the patrol members when I went up to the two outside. No matter now, they wont notice anything, unless they come inside of course. Lets go!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
DMs note: Quorthon, please specify where and how you hid the bodies.
(Having rested and tended to their wounds, the party opens the door and prepares themselves. Quorthon leads the way, followed by Sturm and Sklin'oth in the rear. Before you is a very large room that seems to have been carved out of a cave. The walls are natural rocks, dark gray, with 20 foot ceilings. About 20 feet in there is a huge chasm, over which a narrow stone bridge connects this edge to another edge about 100 feet away. The bridge is about 5 feet wide and looks pretty sturdy, so you all could probably all cross it at once if you all went in a line.)
Sturm, since you didn't roll a Perception check, I'll roll it for you this time: 11
Spoiler for Sklin'oth:
The bridge seems sturdy, so you're not worried about crossing it. The stonework seems pretty good. Nobody else appears to be waiting for you all on the other side.
Spoiler for Sturm and Quorthon:
As you inspect the bridge, you notice that about halfway across, there is a part of the bridge that looks just a little bit difference than the rest. It's kind of far away, but you can tell it's a very slightly raised plate, about 10 feet across, long enough so you couldn't really jump over it unless you were very, very athletic. As you look around a little more, you see up on the ceiling a thin slit. Hmmm...
DM: I didn't hide the bodies at all, I just pulled them into the cavern where we had been searching for a way out, so that they weren't just sitting outside.
I relay what I saw to Sklin:

"This looks like a trap. Any ideas? We could throw one of the dead goblin bodies on the plate and see what happens..."
Quorthon goes back in and pushes the smallest goblin onto the strange part of the bridge (without stepping on it himself) and quickly draws back, anticipating a trap to be released.

Perception roll 9
"Yes, lets, go quickly before the patrol returns."

Quorthon is about to go into the passageway when he thinks about the bodies outside. He stars dragging them in, one by one.
“Someone help me with these, quick. We shouldn’t leave evidence outside like this.”
Quorthon - Dragonborn Bard
"Patrol?" Sklin'oth asks
"How did you learn of this? Anyway if you are sure there is one we should indeed hide the corpses."
I follow everyone else through the doorway.
