The statue of Alden Orien crumbles to the ground, the stones slamming onto the ground in a big pile, it let's out a groan as the magic dissipates, the stone lips murmuring, "Kwanti, my love". At the same time you hear what seems like a muffled shout coming somewhere from the west part of the manor.
Without knowing if anyone heard the sound of your battle, are you still heading through the door the east?
Would Elero have an idea of how many instances of Mending could possibly put this statue back into its normal shape? If it's more than 2 or 3, he'd probably skip it and head off with the others.
Awesome! "Can't believe that worked," Elero mutters, satisfied with his first-ever Mending. "Let's get out of here." He'll pick up his Protector Cannon and put it in his Bag of Holding, then head to the east door with the others.
"Nice work" Erix compiments Elero "Now let's get out of here before anyone comes that might have heard the statue crumble." he continues before moving towards the door they planned on taking.

You come out into the smaller hallway, to the east many doors line the hall that leads to the east side of the manor, perhaps guest bedrooms. To the west you see the hallway open up into a large library.
Do you go east down the hall or west to the library?
((The whole idea was that the key was given to a guest in a ritual, correct? And we now know it is someone of Erix's house?))

True, feel free to swap out your 7 for 11, party people.

Elero DC 15 Arcana Check: 15
Elero weaves his Mending spell and constructs the statue back into it's original form, but without the construct magic that gave it sentience.

Mark, "Nice work everyone, lets move through those doors, but this time lets try to be a little bit quieter."

60/40 library, but Elero's open to suggestions.
“If we go to the guest rooms, we can potentially find the key to the vault.”
"Would the guests have the key, or would the owner of the house?"
((The whole idea was that the key was given to a guest in a ritual, correct? And we now know it is someone of Erix's house?))

"Good point. I'd forgotten that, probably when the statue nearly killed me. Lead on."
Ok so do we head to the guest rooms or library? I’ll remind you of your goals for finding the treasure:
1. Find where the treasure vault is.
2. Get the key to the vault.
OR
3. Find out the password that opens the vault.
((Could there be hints to the password in the library maybe?))

"Maybe, or maybe it'll involve talking to someone at the party tonight. The guest rooms could be a good idea."
“Dont rich people usually keep their vaults behind bookshelves?” Kit speaks up.
“we’d possibly be in less trouble if we got spotted there, but I wouldn’t mind having a sniff at the fancy people’s finery.”
[sorry really actually back now]
“You are right, let us go to the library,” Mark having the best stealth will linger behind and pop into a room looking for anything interesting with the rest of the party goes to the library. “I will meet you in there.”
So is Mark going to look in one of the guest rooms while the others go into the library? This is effectively splitting the party.
