ERKY could tell that the items taken off the TROLL's body excites Yusdrayl.  The Gnome begins to bargain with Yusdrayl in Draconian for what she would give for the two silver rings and the silver amulet.  She would be willing to give the small flask that contains three doses of elixir of health.

What says the party?

"This is up you. We do have other thing we can trade."

"I think it's a good trade, those items for the Elixir of Health, that can come in handy in a pinch, as long as we keep the dagger I'm happy."

I've heard tell of creatures, monsters if you would, that can only be hurt with magical weapons. Good ol'sharpened steel can't even draw blood.  No tellin' what else we might run into down here and we've still got to find those kids. Might be in our best interest to hang on to'it and I can think of no better hand to put it in than lady Portia's. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to spend some time in prayer before we eat.  ((OOC)) how close are we to leveling?

(OOC - Getting closer, but not there yet.  I am leveling up the party after certain milestones.  Mama Rat was a milestone.  You are getting closer to the next.)

After we eat and are setting around with our friends, master Glynt sir, I am afraid I have done you a grave injustice and I must beg you forgiveness. I have yet to ask you for a song. Would you be so inclined? 

Xanth will ask the queen if she would be willing to trade or allow us to buy some of her items?

Did you trade for the Elixir of Health?   If so, then what she has remaining are the Quaal’s feather token (tree) and three spell scrolls (mage armor, spider climb, and knock). What do you have to trade?

( OOC I'm keen to trade for the Elixir of Health, It seems like a handy thing to have in a non-healers back pocket in case the magic users take a nasty hit )

Glynt will pull out his Lute and play a cheerful ditty titled "The Gnome who Knew his Nose was New".

Calps along with the song, another master Glynt? stands and takes Meepo by the hand, Dance my friend! Dance everyone!

Xanth is fine with that. Someone claim the Elixir please. 

It may be best for you to hang on to that incase the healers fall or can't get to you in time. 

MEEPO and his Kobold consorts will dance joyfully to GLYNT's cheerful ditty.

The party will have a good evening.  The Kobolds roast one of their delicacies, a large lizard recently trapped in The Dark.  They served it with cooked mushrooms with a leafy lichen. 

ERKY will say the lizard meat reminds him of pork.  The mushrooms and leafy lichen would have been better cooked in a little wine.  But other than that, it was a fine meal and a restful night. 

DAY SIX (SIXTEEN DAYS UNTIL THE SUMMER SOLSTICE)

 (Where does the party go?  The previous route to the Goblins?  The Kobold's trapped corridor, recently offered?  Or back into the Underdark?)

 The Kobold's trapped corridor sounds good.

"Agreed - let's go the way Yusdrayl has offered and try to catch them by surprise."

Meepo my friend, thank you and your clan for the hospitality. Stay alert and be on your guard in case the gobos retreat this way.  Ready mates?

You start in a twenty-foot-long corridor off of Yusdrayl's throne room.  MEEPO will show the party how to pass the pit that covers the ten-by-ten-foot center of the room.  MEEPO will say, "Weez cautz nasteez Goblinzez inz ziz pitz."

The party will not find a trap on the opposite door and enter the next area.  This area looks like it is a guard post, but at present appears abandoned.
