After we get done searching and having a look around, I could do with a short rest before we take on the big room full of'em. Think we could make it back to the room we found the dragon in and hold up for an 'our or so?
I can start with the bodies if lady Portia would to have a look at the chest.
RAGDOR will search the bodies. The three regular Hobgoblins had chain mail, shields, longswords, longbows, and a total 36 arrows in quivers. Combined they had 70 spcs.
The chief was wearing splint mail with a crest upon. You will have seen this crest back in Oakhurst. It is the Hucrele family crest. He also was wearing a signet ring with the same crest. In addition, he had a potion bottle, two vials, and a key.
The female Goblin had two scrolls one with Faerie Fire and the other Expeditious Retreat. She also had a key.
The unconscious consort was wearing chainmail with a longsword, longbow, and a quiver with ten arrows in it. In addition, she is wearing silver earrings set with moonstones, and a matching necklace.
We'll take the signet ring back to madame Hucrele. Glynt would you or Erky like the scrolls? Lady Portia here are a couple of keys, maybe one will go to that chest. Got one potion and two vials of something, want me to hang on to those? Go to the female hobo, if she's conscious I'll ask her what her name is in orcish, maybe she'll understand.
Portia will try the keys in the iron chest. And also if no objections, will take the earrings and necklace from the female (with plans to wear them just not while adventuring)
"I'd rather not use up any of our spells on someone who tried to kill us, also Erky can have the scrolls, I know Faerie Fire already and don't plan on Retreating"
( OOC - I need to read up the PHB sometime to see how Bards are with Scrolls, I know they can use them but there might be skills checks to do it and maybe it happens at a higher level)
aye, I've got no med kit but am fairly versed in medicine. roll 3+4=7
welp, pretty sure that didn't help. Let me try this, I can use my channel divinity:preserve life. That should let me heal her for up to 10 pts or half her hit die. I can recover this after a short rest.
(Spell Scroll should tell you if it works. But in summary, if it is on your spell list you can cast it. But it is a one use thing and needs a skill check if a higher level than you know. Wizards can try copy it into their spell book to learn permanently)

I have a +1 in medicine can I give advantage or roll my own.
RAGDOR pulls the signet ring off the Hobgoblin Chief.
PORTIA takes the silver and moonstone earrings and necklace off the female Hobgoblin.
XANTH listens at the door. It is quite the commotion.
PORTIA tries the Chief's key on the chest. It opens. Inside are 230 gp and five cut oval-shaped black onyx gems (30 gp each).
The party hovers around the still unconscious female Hobgoblin.
ERKY will say, "I know her language. What do you want to ask her?"
(Forgive my confusion, but I am not sure where the party is with the female Hobgoblin. Did Ragdor use the Channel Energy or was just asking about using it? If you use it, then the female Hobgoblin will wake up and you will be able to ask her questions.)
I went a head and did it unless someone stopped me, we can play it as Xanith stops me and we try a medicine check again. Not getting the desired results I'll go ahead and channel. Sound good to everyone?
oh no, don't look at me. I've already got one lady in ma'life and don't need another. 'Sides, she ain't got no beard.

Glynt asks “Can anyone speak to dead hobgoblins? That armour and ring raises some questions.”
ERKY will look at GLYNT, "This one doesn't appear dead." He points to the female Hobgoblin.
@GM Have I heard anything at the door?
Perception = 7
You mean the loud and boisterous Goblin common room?
Yes. You can hear them. (OOC - Even with a 7 roll)

“Let’s find it from the female what happened to the Hucrele kids, they’re our top priority”
The female Hobgoblin is unconscious.

After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

Assuming it'll take one point if healing to get her awake, I'd like to channel the other 9 (or whatever is left) to lady Portia if possible.
