ERKY hoping that someone would have stepped in ahead of him, decides that face-to-face combat is just not for him. He disengages to the back of the party.
Suddenly, a dolorous bell is heard. And as sorrow fills the air, RAGDOR was able to cause the first damage to the first FIRE SNAKE.
BIX on the other hand, takes a stab with her fine blade. The rapier drives into the creature’s heated body with an eruption of flame. The second FIRE SNAKE dies from the thrust, but BIXis scorched in the process. (BIX takes 3 points of damage.)
The Dark Elf Rogue deftly disengages from the action avoiding any attacks from the first FIRE SNAKE.
XANTH will move over and attack the first FIRE SNAKE missing with the business end of the Glaive but hitting it with the butt. Heat pours off the creature’s scorching body. (XANTH takes 3 points of damage.)

"Someone a bit more perceptive than I am should have a look to see if those Fire Snakes were hiding anything good."
"Well, that was something. I think we could go back and rest now." Xanth will aid Ragdor in a search of the room if he would be so kind.

I think the mummy room would be best, we can bar that door somewhat and get some peaceful rest.
"That sounds perfect to me."
Sounds good, I could use a rest as well. When we get in there I can use pitons to bar the door.
We head back and rest I suggest we take watches just in case.
