"I feel Xanth and Portia could do with a bit of attention, I would also prefer to wait a couple of mins to see that this thing isn't going to get up again before someone gets up close and personal searching inside there - would be a nasty surprise if it woke up while one of you were rummaging under it. I've also been giving as much support as I could so I'm pretty tapped and could do with a decent rest sometime soon."
The smelly TROLL fire eventually extinguishes itself.
The TROLL appears truly dead.
Though a little charred, the TROLL Dragonpriest, has a Ceremonial Dagger in Sheath, and was wearing a Silver Amulet, and two Silver Rings, all adorned with tiny dragons.
You will notice shiny things below the Dragonpriest's body. Ancient coins.
The party will eventually remove the TROLL from the sarcophagus. Laying loose throughout the Sarcophagus you will find 220 sp, 50 gp, and in a scroll case four spell scrolls: command, cure wounds (2nd level), inflict wounds (2nd level), and guiding bolt (2nd level).
"Ok, that's 10gp and 44sp each, I'm all for equal rights but Bones doesn't qualify for a cut. We should check to see if any of the Troll's gear is magical and if not I am wondering if we could trade any of it with Yusdrayl as I still have an eye on the Elixir of Health she had, Erky and Ragdor you can decide among yourselves how best to distribute the scrolls but I was thinking the Inflict might make more sense for Ragdor as he's more likely to be close to something worth hurting."
ERKY will say, "Since I can do arcane as well as divine, these divine scrolls should go toRAGDOR. He would be better at using them."
ERKY will then begin a ritual to cast Detect Magic. The Dagger radiated magic along with the scrolls. Nothing else. He then performs another ritual to Identify the Dagger. It is +1 Dagger.
Afterwards, ERKY will say, "I need to rest. I am all tapped out. Let's head back to the Kobolds. They may need to know what we found."
"Portia - Aren't Daggers your weapon of choice? - if so I think that's best in your hands. I agree with the big guy, let's lock up the place and have a proper rest here. That door had been locked for a looooong time so no one should be coming this way meaning we should be safe enough, esp if we lock it up as we found it."
"I do think the Kobolds will be interested to see this place but feel that unless they can create an exit to the Underdark they will stick with what they have, as I doubt they want to be boxed in with no way to escape."
Glynt will add "I wanted to mention Erky - If you have a spare, or come across, a Pearl worth 100gp and an Owl feather I would be very interested in acquiring them"
(In the chaos surrounding subduing the White Dragon, Erky would have collected his components pouch as well as his spellbook. My apologies for not mentioning this detail earlier.)
A rest sounds good, should be a safe play to here with the pit there and only other way in the hidden passage. After a short rest I should be able to top everyone off, but will need a long rest to reset my spells.
"I'm feeling very drained and uninspiring right now, almost out of Spells and I don't think I'm alone on that front so thinking a long rest will work better."
"I do typically use my shortswords, just as they can cause more damage. But a dagger is always useful." and she gestures to one of the 5 daggers sheathed across her body.
( OOC - a Shortsword does the same average damage (1d6 = 3.5) as that Dagger, (1d4+1 = 2.5+1) and has the added bonus of +1 to hit and an increased minimum damage which is always handy, esp if you roll like I tend to ... TBH if you don't want it I'd happily take it, but I feel it's more suited to your skills, esp if/when we encounter things that need magical weapons like Vampires and Werewolves.)
The party returns to Yusdrayl and the Kobolds. When they first get to the Kobold area, MEEPO is once again in that front room, but this time he is not alone and weeping. The three freed young Kobolds are with him and serving him. MEEPO has already become a hero to them and his clan.
When he sees the party, "Friendzez!" He proclaims. He will then lead the party to Yusdrayl with the now familiar call out, "Ticklecorn! Ticklecorn!."
The party tells Yusdrayl what they found. When the party shows the clan leader what was found, Yusdrayl gets excited about the dagger adorned with its images of silver dragons, and offers three spell scrolls (mage armor, spider climb, and knock), and a small flask that contains three doses of elixir of health in exchange for the TROLL's magical ceremonial dagger.
(Without regard for what happens in the exchange with Yusdrayl, the party will afterward take a Long Rest in MEEPO's area.)

(I am aware of that. And happy to use it. But Portia has reasons for not wanting to seem like she is asking for it)
Portia turns to the party. "I personally have more use for the dagger than the scrolls and flask. Not least because the dagger is reusable not consumable. But if any of you have a desire to make the trade we can"
ERKY will look at PORTIA, "Those scrolls would be sweet. But what you say makes sense. That is a special dagger that even your great-great grandchildren may even honor. Maybe Yusdrayl will make another trade, say for the silver rings and amulet?"

Huzzah! Huzzah mates! whoa does that thing stink. Everyone ok? Anyone need a quick prayer?
"Shall we search the box and body?"

(Xanth is 7 down. This is a good place to rest if we need to. With the Rital casting I can get by with a short rest.)
To Glynt. " Thanks for the motivation. "

Short or long? I'm good with a short

aye, looks like we're in for a long rest then. I propose we head back to our friends with the gifts and see about crashing there?
ERKY will agree. (And to move things along.)
