[OOC: the temporary HP last until the next long rest and the protector cannon itself lasts for one hour. During that hour it refreshes 1d8+3 temp HP every round with a bonus action, so I think it would be safe to assume that we all have 11 temp hp - the current maximum - after a very short time after this combat.]

Glossy urns and cinerary boxes line the walls of this vaulted rotunda. Drifting in the center of the room above a drain is a ghostly, transparent, humanoid figure. The figure is clad in plate armor, and where a head should be, there is instead a featureless, luminescent orb.
Tez checks the eye after Eima prompts him to do so and just in case repeats the activation phrase to the eye and into the room towards the odd figure. “Let’s see. It wanted us to go here. But better we go in there prepared.” Tez dodges and steps carefully 10 feet into the room, hugging the western wall.

Between the appearance of the ghost, it's featureless head, and it's cry for help, Tez can reasonably assume that the ghost has no idea who it is, and perhaps it needs help recovering its identity. Perhaps that is why it is lingering in the area and hasn't crossed over.
"You don't know who you are?" Tez repeats the question to buy some time and skips to his left along the wall to evade the ghost. 'And I am supposed to know? What the heck?' He thinks to himself. "You're a valiant defender," Tez begins. Though, he doesn't believe something so general will do the trick, but perhaps buttering the ghost with compliments will at least deter it from a direct attack and it could be argued that he is actually trying to help the ghost. 'And a most annoying one at that!' he thinks, while he glances at the urns behind him and at the other walls. Does any of them urns or boxes stand out? Do they have names written on them?

There is nothing in the current room that gives any indication as to who the ghost might be. However, there are steps leading to other rooms.
Eima looks on with interest as Tezzy starts combing the room. Seems the ghost was friendly enough. At least it wasn't trying to kill them or anything. She follows behind Tymmy and backs him up, "Aye. There may be better clues elsewhere we can help ye with."

A stone, gold-painted sarcophagus rests in the center of this tomb. The sides of the sarcophagus bear a relief depicting two women gazing lovingly over a field and a city, and the lid has a faintly distinguishable family crest carved into it. Old weapons and decorated armor line the walls of this room.
She says, "I can take a look in there if ye want. But would be nice to have another set o' eyes." She grabs out her thieves toolkit in preparation to investigate the sarcophagus if someone else confirms her suspicions of no obvious traps.
"Agreed on pressing on, Tezzy." concurs Eima.
