"Tezzy!" shouts Eima in alarm as the weird attempts to drown him. She takes a moment to regain her composure and focuses on her crossbow. "You've shot this thing a thousand times before." she says to herself. "Don't miss."
Tez yelps as the weird grabs him and pushes him underwater. Thankfully, his protector understands body language and sends a fresh wave of soothing energy, while Tez tries to wiggle free of the weird‘s hold.

You’d swear there was a bear loose in the area. “You should not have done that!!!” Tymm then takes another mighty swing at the creature.

Unfortunately this time water and electricity don't mix and the shocking grasp from Tez fizzles out before it can hurt the weird.
The weird swings at Tymm this time and sploshes right into him! (20 to hit, 16 bludgeoning damage and Tymm is grappled! DC 13 athletics/acrobatics to escape!)
Oh no! Tymm and Sky both miss with their attacks against the creature!
"Sorry about that, Tymmy!" calls out Eima about her bonfire distracting the goliath. "I'll shoot at this time! We'll get you out of that thing's blasted grip one way or another!"

"Enough is enough," Tez exclaims when the elemental gets hold of Tymm. Disappointed in the results for his pains, Tez tries something and channels way more energy into his staff. He pokes the staff into its watery arm infusing it with crackling electricity. With a hand signal he activates the spider-like contraption that sits silently on his backpack until it sends a new wave of refreshing energy out in all directions.
Action: cast Shocking Grasp, hit 26 (crit) for 13 lightning damage Bonus: activate Protector for 6 temporary HP (to all allies within 10 feet of Tez that have less temp HP)

Sky's flame smashes into the weird, but being made of water, the flame doesn't hurt it too badly! (resistance)
