Meanwhile Irtos inspects the upper deck for anything that looks out of the ordinary.

Borvnir curses in Draconic and then says in Common 'Guess it has to be this way then,' before swinging his greataxe towards the ribcage of the zombie. 18 to hit, 7 damage.

With a hiss of "Blood!" a ghoul leaps out of the shadows and attacks Borvnir with his claws. 14 to hit for 9 damage, and make a con saving throw. 

Zinzenzax attempts to climb to the crows nest prior to the sounds of combat…

As you climb to the crow's nest, the master sways alarmingly as you near the fifty foot drop. It's a simple crow's nest. 

 Anything interesting from that vantage point?  Then back down nice and easy.

Cherry takes a look at the ghoul and narrows her eyes at it. "We're gonna need some help down here!" she shouts. "Let's rid the world of your friend first. But you're next." she mutters at the ghoul.

Borvnir yells as the ghoul attacks him, slicing him up and letting him bleed out all over the hold, the water growing dark with his blood. It's clear he's in a really bad state. He also starts to feel the tingle of the ghouls magic spread through his body, unable to move or call for help. Con Save: 6

(I'm on 1 hit point and paralysed, so main focus is for me now is escaping)

Zin scrambles down the mast leaving the little box for later… “Borvnir, Borvnir hang on I’m coming.”  Zin sees everyone rushing to help.  It’s nice to have friends.

[I got a Dirty 20 on the Con Save but I think I make it at the end of my turn so I'm not paralysed anymore but can't do anything more this turn, is that right?]

That would have gone very differently if you had been raging. 

[Hmm, wonder what that means. Alright sounds good, next turn I'll hopefully escape, heal up a bit if possible, even if it's just a few hit points (I'm guessing Cherry or Zin could do that for me please!) and then Rage! Slaughter mode whooooo (guess we'll see what happens when I Rage with the undead then!)

Seeing the badly wounded Borvnir facing a couple of undead, Irtos starts off with a Healing Word directed at Borvnir.

Heals 11 hp

Irtos then casts Sacred Flame at the zombie.

Zombie needs to make DC 13 dex save or take 6 radiant damage

The zombie twists out of the way with uncharacteristic agility. 

Borvnir feels the temporary paralysis fade and as Irtos heals him, he feels powerful, like the burning acid inside of him is about to bubble and boil over. He gives a malicious and frenzied grin, nearly all his wounds sealed up from Healing Word, and thinks to himself. 'That'll be the last time I try to negotiate peacefully with the enemy. If the rest of the party hadn't came to my aid, I would have been toasted. So if Orcus wants a display of strength, a display of strength is what he'll get! I'll tear this undead into such tiny shreds they'll look like mummified corn flakes!'

[Healed 11 Hp on the sheet, will Rage next turn so make sure to leave at least one of the enemies alive for me to hack through!]
