OOC: Yup, sorry. This is for the next round, I'm out tomorrow as well.
Fargim eyes the enemies being close enough for a trick he has rarely used. Almost like a combination of his earth, wind and water cantrips, the ground under the worgs goes wild, wines and weeds sprouting out and grabbing hold of them. He casts Entangle to catch as many worgs and orcs as possible, DC 12 str.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Diana - It makes it much easier one me if you allow me to fill spell slots/ability uses on your character sheets, thanks for asking.
Hox - Unless you have the Dual Wielder feat, it's actually an interaction to draw or stow any weapon, and a second interaction in a turn takes the place of your action. So Hox can stow his bow (interaction) and draw one dagger (action) this turn, then use his interaction to draw the second dagger next turn.
Thane continues his devastating onslaught, working his way through his quiver with abandon. Another orc drops from his first arrow, and three more arrows bury themselves in another.
The worgs slow just enough to allow the seven remaining orcs to launch javelins at the line of Reavers. Four find their mark, drawing blood from the hardy barbarians, who don't seem affected in the slightest. The second line of orcs and worgs has formed behind the first now, beginning a charge of their own.
Tracking: The first line of orcs is 50 feet away from you, and 20 feet away from the Reavers' defensive line.
OOC: Fargim, Diana and Elrik have posted readied actions for this round. Just in case Hox and Volthero would like take an action beside waiting, I will give them a short period of time to do so, before I resolve the readied actions and advance later tonight.
The two worgs on the east end of the advancing line are suddenly overtaken by quickly growing vines cast by Fargim, halting their progress entirely. Diana attempts to outline another two worgs and their riders in flickering flame, but the worgs are riding too quickly, and the flames do not take. Elrik launches his handaxe at the line of advancing orcs as soon as they enter range but miscalculates the throw, watching it sail harmlessly over their heads. Hox and Volthero continue to hold, waiting patiently for the approaching melee.
Thane takes advantage of Fargim's vines, firing three shots toward the entangled orcs, killing one and burying two shots in the other. Roccar throws his javelin wide, then draws his greataxe, holding it high in the sky. He unleashes a vicious war cry, which is met by a battle hungry roar from his Reavers.
The world becomes silent as the orc line finally reaches the Reavers, for just a moment, as it is quickly interrupted by the sudden clash of steel and shouts of pain. The Reavers hold their line well, taking only a few hits from the orcs' drawn greataxes. The entangled worgs pull themselves free of the vines, tearing them from the earth. The worg without a rider peels away from battle. The second line of orcs continues to advance.
Tracking: The first line of orcs is engaged in melee with the Reavers' defensive line, 30 feet away from you. The second line of orcs is 160 feet away from the Reavers' defensive line, 190 feet away from you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Finally within range," growls Elrik under his breath as he advances to join the melee with the Reavers. The dwarf takes a vicious swing with his greataxe, hoping to hew an orc in two.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hox mutters under his breath, "For gold, Hox fight. Hox have dragon in him, no fear for dragons. So Hox fight!" Hox charges as he draws his other dagger, joining close to Elrik in the fray.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fargim maintains concentration on the Entangle (the area stays a difficult terrain) and takes a shot with his light crossbow at one of the orcs (if in range, the one that Thane shot twice). Attack: 8 Damage: 10
Elrik leaps, and hacks into an orc at the west end of the line, cutting into its chest and taking it off of its worg. It lands dead, face down in the river. Hox follows closely, darting between enemies and hamstringing one of the now riderless worg's legs with his daggers. Fargim fires just overhead of an orc while Diana finds room on the east end of the line to nick an orc with two arrows already sticking out of it.
Thane silently replaces his longbow on his back, drawing a shortsword and charging forward to join the melee. In the center of it all stands Roccar, who howls, his typically stoic face becoming a mask of rage. His greataxe quickly cuts across an orc rider in front of him and back, dropping it dead. The Reavers tear into orc and worg flesh alike. Their blades work in incredible harmony, ripping the first line to shreds. Only one orc survives this passionate defense, and one worg falls to the Reaver blades.
The five remaining riderless worgs, too focused on the blades ripping into them to retreat, fight back, tearing into Reaver flesh. The hardy barbarian warriors show no signs of fear, or even pain. Behind this, you can now see 20 orcs make up the second line, and they are approaching quickly.
Tracking: Five riderless worgs are engaged in melee with the defensive line. The second line of orcs and worgs is 60 feet away from the defensive line, and 90 feet away from Fargim.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elrik, emboldened by the success of his first attack as well as the inspiring words* from Diana, moves toward the nearest riderless worg and swings his greataxe at the beast.
Greataxe attack: 8 Damage: 5
*Utilizing bardic inspiration to add 4 to attack roll
A worg leaps out of way just in time as Elrik swings his greataxe with ferocity. Hox cashes in on the opportunity by stabbing it upwards through its heart, narrowly avoiding the large creature as it falls dead. Vines disappear from the ground and reappear beneath two worgs in the middle of the second line. One is able to avoid the vines, but they grab at the other, holding him fast to the ground. On the right side of the second line, a worg is outlined in violet flames, which appear to lick at its skin hungrily.
Without emotion, Thane draws his second shortsword and begins tearing apart worgs with incredible speed. Three quick cuts drop a worg before he turns and swings at another, drawing blood from that worg as well. Roccar provides a constrasting style, throwing himself headlong at two worgs, roaring as he swings his greataxe almost out of control. The Reavers make quick work of the remaining worgs from the first line, bloodied but holding defensively as the second line quickly approaches.
The second line of orcs advances, slightly broken by two middle worgs slowing as they trudge through thick vines and weeds. The entangled worg manages to rip its way free of vines and advance slowly. Half of the second line launches javelins as they enter range, four of which find targets in the line of hardy Reavers. All twelve remain standing. Four or five orcs on each side of the line are holding greataxes, and look as if they are going to attempt to wrap around the Reavers' defensive line to attack from both sides.
Tracking: Twenty orcs and worgs are on the other side of the river, almost engaged in melee with the Reavers' defensive line.
Elrik moves into position, hoping to prevent the orcs from wrapping around the defensive line. Locking eyes with one of the orcs, he spits out "Khuzd ai-mênu!"and makes an overhead swing with his axe.

When orcs will be in range (60 ft) Diana will cast Faerie Fire (DC 13 Dex) on them, trying to fit em all in a 20ft cube. They will glow pink light.
COC: it's better for me or DM to fill the spell slot?
Hox will move about 10 feet behind the Reavers and stow his bow. He takes his daggers out to ready himself as the orcs come to meet the line.
(Don't know if stowing and taking out weapons will cost an action so posting as if it does.)
"Rakhâs, Khuzd ai-mênu!" growls Elrik again. When worg and rider are within 60', the handaxe will fly, its target being a rider.
[Ranged attack with disadvantage: 5 Damage: 9]
Elrik watches his handaxe sail harmlessly over the heads of his foes. "So be it," he says as he grips his greataxe in both hands.
OOC: Diana - It makes it much easier one me if you allow me to fill spell slots/ability uses on your character sheets, thanks for asking.
