Bell is able to break free of Ripley. At that moment she looks to the bottom of the pool to find her footing so she can kick off toward the surface. There is something to notice. (But the DC to notice it is 12, higher than her Passive Perception and higher than the 8 I rolled for her. However, if she wants to add Meredith’s Bardic Inspiration to the 8, she can. She will need to roll a 4 or higher on a d8.)
(Then Erudisia’s turn, then Ripley and Sylvarie.)

Bell notices an object at the bottom of the pool. A hand mirror, softly glowing, giving off dim light in a 5’ radius. Bell understands that the dim radiance coming from the pool is not coming from the water, but from this object.

Bell will swim down to get the mirror and bring it to the surface.
Athletics: 7
Try as she might, she hasn't the swim experience nor strength to get down to the object. Surfacing, she will first check on Meredith and then report on what she saw in the pool.
(No Athletics roll needed. Bell can swim 5’, then it is a simple manipulate object to reach down and pick up the mirror! Then swim 10’ up to the surface where she ends her turn.)
In the confusion, Bell hasn’t realized that she has picked up the mirror and brought it to the surface with her. She is still in the water at the end of her turn.
(Erudisia is up.)

If Erudisia can move far enough, she will move so that Bell and the edge of the water is directly head on from Erudisia’s perspective (assuming the pond is, also, less than 30feet diameter) and she will then cast Gust to push Bell onto land, if she chooses to fail her strength save (DC 15).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I’m ruling that the angle for the gust to move Bell from the pool to a standing position doesn’t work. However, a partial success is possible…)
Erudisia’s gusting incantation, through low-pressure suction caused by a tiny tornado Erudisia brings into being, causes Bell, previously at the edge of the pool, to lift partway out of it, then whip fully out and over onto her back. Bell is now on the floor but prone. The magic mirror remains in her hand.
Ripley, you have come to understand, is the guardian of the pool. But not just the pool, you now must infer. Also of that which was in the pool…
Partially revealing itself by reaching 5’ out of the water, Ripley makes itself known. What you see is almost like a giant eel made of water, with long feeler tentacles extending from its lower jaw, also of water. You recognize it for what it is, an elemental creature known as a Water Weird! It half-rises out of the pool, and its feelers shoot out at Bell’s feet, attempting to wrap around her ankles. Whether they do or not, Ripley drops back into the pool, either pulling Bell with it (glug!) or not.
(It strikes at advantage because Bell is prone.
Ripley vs. Bell: 17
If it hits, it does 18 bludgeoning damage to her, pulls her 10’ under water, and Bell is again grappled, DC13 to escape on her turn.

“RIPLEY!,” the medusa yells. She rips off her blindfold. “You KNOW friendship has its limits and you KNOW what this cursed form is capable of! Here in my lair, I have power not merely over others, turning them to stone… but I have power over ALL stone!”
She demonstrates, her eyes glowing with a cool white light. The ground beneath you rumbles as a 1’ wide line of stone rises, grinding upwards to extend from the bottom of the pool up to the chamber’s ceiling, a 1'-wide wall cutting the pool in half.
50/50 chance Bell is in front of or on the far side of the wall. 1-2: in front and therefore, in view. 3-4: behind and not in view unless you rush to the side of the pool. From there you can see her. 3

Bell yelped as her ankle was grabbed after being blown about the pool. Still holding the mirror in hand, she scrambles to get distance between the pool, the Water Weird, and Ms Medusa.
"I am sorry! I saw this mirror on the bottom of the pool ! I didn't mean to make you or Ripley angry."
