Modoc sees nothing amiss though there is an uncomfortable shiver down your spine as if someone walked over your grave. Dr. Bailey must have felt it too as he stops reading for a moment to look around and then settle on looking out through the window. "The night's getting colder" he mumbles before going back to his book.
Hyliztha will move to take a seat near Dr. Bailey as well, eyeing the priest as he walks off. Shaking her head as he walks off she turns her attention back to keeping her eyes on their charge. "Like he said we're here to make sure nothing happens to you. If needed we will also chase off any annoyances but you seem to have things covered."
"I am Lucille, and I work for Ms. Galloway. I also came by to make sure no other mischief happens to her crates. Now why don't you go eat. Its been a long day and I can watch all the crates with my men" says the leader of the trio
"Ah, well it's good to work along side professional folk. I'll leave it to you then." Gaelan nods politely, takes a mental note of the name and appearance of the guards, retrieves his darts and heads back to report to Eirikur.
...
"Hey Rik, we had some other fellas come by, said they was working for Ms. Galloway. I left them in the cargo section as Ms. Galloway's equipment is there as well." He gestures towards the freight car and reports names and description.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Eirikur takes note of the religious man, having seen him for the first time only now. He assumes this is the religious man that the party briefed him on before while he was settling the issue with the chairs. His aggressive proselytizing seemed to be telling, and what could be seen as prayers initially looked like it could be a casting or ritual of some kind. Eirikur narrows his eyes at the religious man and patrols around the boxcar to get a better vantage of what the religious man might be doing, whether it be casting a spell or performing a religious ritual.
OOC: Arcana check 17, Religion check 11.
As Gaelan quickly alerts him to the happenings in the freight car, Eirikur quickly determines the best course of action.
OOC: How Eirikur responds will depend on the whether my knowledge check reveals anything concerning. Current plan is to send the three back to the freight car to guard while Eirikur stays, keeping a wary eye on the religious man and the angry gentleman with the totally not-bomb suitcase :p But if the knowledge check reveals anything concerning, I will send two and keep one with me, to be determined by the party. Also, I am still out of the country but was missing the game so I popped in!
“I need two of you to head back to the freight car and guard our cargo. If other scientists want to guard their work, fine, but our job doesn’t change.” Eirikur nods his head toward Father Anselam. “He’s performing a magical ritual of some kind, for protection or harm, I don’t know, but it sent a chill down my spine. I’ll need one of you to stay with me while the other two go.”
Modoc will follow Gaelan back to the freight car and says with a smile to the three there, "Hello there, Gaelan says you're protecting the crates of your employer and we'll be protecting our employer's crates." Modoc takes 5 gold out of his pocket and places it on a crate or table. "Do any of you have a deck of cards to pass the time? I've been bored out of my mind with those stuffy scientists and their petty squabbles. If you're up for a game, I'd be happy to join."
"Damn priests and their god magic. Probably praying to have something explode or the like." Hyalithza mutters as her hand moves to rest near her holstered revolver, giving the priest the stink eye.
Father Anselam continues his ritual and the night seem to darken even further than before.
Lucille offers her hand to Modoc.
"It may be a boring job but it's not a bad one as usually the jobs we take are far more dangerous and usually outdoors. This train is frankly a luxury." says Lucille offering her hand to shake. "Yeah, we got cards. You can join us in a game of poker. Now we play for money. I hope you have some on you"

Erikur realizes that Father Anselam is performing a magic ritual. Though his knowledge of religion does not reveal anything of note.
Erikur and Hyliztha feels a momentary shiver down your spines as well.
"What do you think, boss?" Modoc looks comfortable where he is, but is ready for anything.

Erikur and Hyliztha both hear a strange noise coming from outside toward the south. The sound is getting louder and coming closer.
For Poker you can just roll a 1d20 and whoever has the higher number wins.
Modoc smiles and takes a spot for poker.
