She-elf's WIS saving throw: 7
A bit surprised that the bright flash seemed to have no effect on Orla, the she-elf falls to her knees and begins laughing uncontrollably at the bard's joke. She seems embarrassed, trying to hide her mouth with her hands, dropping her crossbow, hand on the floor. She is now both prone and incapacitated
(Drazzim would most likely be in front of Orla if he was playing the part of a bodyguard)
"Right, time to shmack some mooksh silly."Drazzim says. He draws the greataxe from his back and strides up to the first guard. He swings his axe, aiming with the blunt part of the head to knock out, rather than cleave in twain.
Battleaxe vs. Guard #1: Attack: 25 vs. AC. Hit:12 "bludgeoning" damage.
Adivsory: What I do for my campaign to keep things rolling is allow players to post if their next turn is before the next lot of enemies. It's just mainly to keep the ball rolling in PbP in case a player isn't around for a day or two.
Drazzim's lack of hesitation catches the guard by surprise. He takes the greataxe swing to the temple, taking full (non-lethal) damage and falling to his knees. He stumbles back up and readies his shield.
(OOC question to the experienced PbP players in the thread: Is it commonplace for the DM to post up HP updates after each turn? If so, does that apply to both PCs and enemies?)
Charlotte, you are up. Recall that you are blinded for one turn.
(OOC: Personally, I just put in brackets the monster and how much damage it's taken. At the end of the round I do a quick write-up. I've got a group in a combat in a Lost Mine of Phandelver currently, if you want to have a look of what I've done.)

(OOC: In RL campaigns, I never tell my players the HP the enemies are at, instead I just give them hints on their behaviour or stance like "He seems really rough, holding the open wound with one hand, you catch a glimpse of fear in his eye" etc. As far as the players go, they usually track their own HP and are responsible of saying if the go unconscious. But, this is just how I roll with things!)
Hearing Orla and Drazzim, and trying to understand where the enemy could be, Charlotte walks blindly forwards, as she tries to grasp a hostile arm and cast Chill Touch Attack: 8 Damage: 8 (necrotic damage).
(OOC: Yeah, I take a similar approach to Yayabeams in my IRL games too, so I guess I'll try to translate that into here as well. As for your example, pokepaladdy, you are very thorough! Very nice. I'll try to implement something similar starting in initiative round 2, but as Yayabeams said, players will be responsible for tracking their own HP, conditions, buffs, etc. Do we have a deal, everyone?)
(OOC: For the record, i won't be implementing fumbles for critical fails on attack rolls {other than adding some flavor}, and nat 1s or 20s have no extra effects for skill checks or saving throws, except death saving throws... so basically, we are playing RAW in this aspect).
After stumbling for a bit, Charlotte finally manages to grasp something with the ghostly, skeletal hand she conjures as she releases her chill touch spell. Rubbing the blindness off her eyes, she then realizes that her spell's target was a rotting wooden crate, 10 feet south of where Drazzim is currently fighting one of the guards.

Cato approaches the elven seller, nervous because he has never attacked someone before. Nevertheless, he casts primal savagery on himself and attacks the seller non-lethally.

As Cato approaches the seller, he swings his sharpened fingernails damaging the spy.
Guards' turn.
Guard #1, after standing back up, thrusts his spear towards Drazzim.
Spear (one-handed melee attack) vs. Drazzim: Attack: 20 Damage: 3
Guard #2, seeing his boss incapacitated and lacking combat orders, attacks the nearest target.
Spear (one-handed melee attack) vs. Drazzim: Attack: 11 Damage: 4
Guard #3, starring at Cato's sudden sharpened teeth and nails, approaches and instinctively thrusts his spear.
Spear (one-handed melee attack) vs. Cato: Attack: 19 Damage: 2
Seller's turn.
"What.... have ... ha.. have you ... done to me?" she asks, being interrupted by coughs and sudden bursts of laughter. She then crawls back 15 feet, leaving her crossbow, hand behind in fear and moving towards the far western wall of the barn. She is now 20 feet away from that wall, 15 feet away from her closest enemy, which would be Drazzim, and 40 feet west of the farthest of her enemies, Utar. For reference, the guards are 30 feet west of Utar.
This movement triggers an attack of opportunity on the seller from both Drazzim and Cato, if you so choose to use your reaction this round for that purpose. She will perform her end-of-turn WIS saving throw against Tasha's Hideous Laughter after you let me know if you are taking your reactions.
The last thing Utar could remember seeing was a bright flash. The dragon egg had fallen to the floor and then... Nothing. Just white.
His ears were flooded with the familiar sounds of combat. Cries and the sound of blows connecting. He heard a paricularly violent snarl coming from someone, he couldn't tell who.
Utar felt around with his free hand, searching for his shield. Raising it in front of his body, and trying to shrink himself down behind it. He began to move himself, weaving like a boxer. Attempting to dodge any incoming blows.
Utar takes the dodge action.
OOC - Since Utar can't see I thought better of attacking, also I hope I'm ok posting this now a little out of order.

(OOC: I have edited my earlier post to reflect Cato actually hitting the Spy).
(OOC @alierond: You didn't mention it in your latest post, but to keep things moving, I'm going to go ahead and assume that Cato does try to take his attack of opportunity on the Spy, since you were attacking her already. This is assumed to be a simple melee weapon attack, so in your case using the quarterstaff).
Cato's attack of opportunity:
Quarterstaff (one-handed melee attack) vs. Spy: Attack: 20 Damage: 4
As the elven spy tries to crawl away from danger, both Drazzim and Cato take advantage of her precarious situation and, with a joint attack, knock her unconscious right in front of her guards.
Utar protects himself until his eyes heal themselves from the temporary blindness. He sees the three guards 30 feet in front of him still willing to defend themselves.
Orla (no longer keeping concentration on Tasha's Hideous Laughter since the Spy is now unconscious) Drazzim Charlotte Cato Guards (Guard #1 looks ready to drop his shield and faint on his own) Spy (Unconscious) Utar (Dodge action until the beginning of his next turn)
Map: Drazzim is engaged with two guards right about in the middle of the barn, with Cato engaged with the third just 5 feet northeast of the dwarf. The Spy is unconscious between the two. Charlotte is 10 feet east of Cato, and Orla is 5 feet northeast of her. Utar is right behind Orla, 25 feet away from the closest guard which is the one engaged with Cato.
(OOC: As per the constructive feedback I've received (thanks pokepaladdy!) starting this round, just go ahead and make your posts if your next turn is before the next lot of enemies. It no longer needs to be completely in order so that we can keep things moving, like MoistBooks did in his last post).
Next up: Orla, Drazzim, Charlotte, and Cato, fell free to take your turns.

"Sorry!!" Charlotte yells, as she disappointingly brushes the skeletal hand off from this world.

(OOC: Is Cato blinded? Otherwise his attack would've had advantage against the prone seller. )
Edit: Realized the thing about incapacitated right when I posted it. Though Bonus Actions are also prohibited.
You are right about Cato having advantage. Cato, please roll your attack one more time and we will edit accordingly.
As for crawling away, the incapacitated condition does not prevent movement. The condition stunned does.

(OOC: incapacitated doesn't provide advantage, but attacking a prone from 5 feet away does. Also a bonus action is a type of action for the instance of incapacitated.)
"Hey, no runnin' off, knife-ear!" Drazzim uses his reaction to attempt an opportunity attack (once again, going for a knock-out)
Greataxe vs. Spy: 17 vs. AC. Hit: 11 "slashing" damage.

Orla will draw her rapier and lunges at the guard that looks the weakest (Guard #1).
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
Orla lunges forward, striking the corner of the guard's shield (OOC: that just missed him, unfortunately).
