This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Galorash will move to attack the next closest runt when his turn comes around again. Scimitar Attack: 4 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
OOC oops! That attack was a natural 1 so I'm not going to fix the damage roll. I was adding a sneak attack because of proximity, but I might have lost that too.
(Hi everyone, I was waiting for Mikhael's action but his player may have disappeared, I'm not sure. Also Galorash's player informed me that they will be taking a break from posting due to real world issues. But we can continue, and if either of them decide to show up again they are more than welcome.)
There are two hobgoblin runts left; sensing that the tide of battle has turned against them, they attempt to flee to the southwest into to the hallway with the two large holes in the floor. You can pursue them if you wish, or let them live and focus your attention on the shrine to your east or the door to your south.
Kalman and Medskan investigate the altars. By the symbols and offerings on them you can surmise that the hobgoblins have dedicated them to Bane, the god of fear, hatred and tyranny. The altars weren't always so, however; further investigation suggests that the altars were once dedicated to another god, though you are unable to ascertain which.
I forgot to mention, on the wall is inscribed the following: "Here lie the Rivenroars until the Day of the Black Sun. If you seek their monument, look at the lands around you.”
Balin recognizes that before it was rededicated to Bane by the hobgoblins the shrine was once dedicated to Vecna, an evil god of magic and secrets. Were these shrines put in by the Rivenroars, or perhaps by later inhabitants of the catacombs? Balin is unsure.
The southwest hallway goes back to the hall with the two pits, one of which you descended previously. The southern door is latched shut but seemingly unlocked.
Aka'ula smashes another hobgoblin runt with his fist. There are now two runts left, and it is Mikhael's turn to act.

((This is how you'd add two damage die together with the combat roller btw))

Jakob stays by Kalman and assists in looking down the hallway.

Kalman will position himself behind the nearest coffin, using it as partial cover, ready to shoot through the southern doorway once someone opens it.
