Graxx snaps back to reality as he looks down at the children and says, "We need to end this. When the cult realizes the fish have failed in their quest they will seek vengeance. They will look to retaliate and we must be ready for them."
Graxx then looks to Angus as he recalls a recent memory, "Angus, you seem to your land well. Do you know of any wizards? Perhaps ones who have appeared recently due to your towns history? There was one giving orders to the fish outside the cave. He or she needs killing."
As Drazzim passes out a second serving of food to the children and Darrius looks on to ensure their path is clear, Utar makes his rounds distributing fair shares of the reward. Drazzim gives Angus a few extra coins from his share, allowing the farmer and his hired hands to share 18gp among them. "Thank you, thank you master dwarf and good cleric of Torm for this," he says, recognizing the symbol hanging form Utar's neck. "And for the food as well. You lot keep giving and giving. I do not know how to ever repay your kindness."
Angus then turns to the rest of the party, in general, while saying "Once we are all reunited, the family will find a place to stay. Our laborers will no doubt find a new occupation. We should all be fine in the end."
Snapping out of his comforting daydream, Angus then answers Graxx: "I am sorry Graxx, but I am a simple farmer who likes to read the odd history book or two when I have the extra coin for it. But worry not, your group's generosity..." he adds, jiggling the pouch he just received "...will find a better use than my pastime of choice. The city folk should know these types of magic things better, if you want to look around for answers."
He ponders for a few extra seconds and says "Now that I think of it, yes, there's Sorcerer’s Isle. Its a small island in the Stojanow River that is featureless save for a large, silver pyramid. It must be some 120 feet tall and ninety feet wide on a side. I read about it once in one of my books. It said this mysterious structure was the home to a mad wizard. Yarash, I think he was called, or maybe Jaruch, I don't remember. He conducted experiments on the local flora and fauna; mutating them into hideous creatures, but I think most of it are tales to scare children. I mean, how would they know that travel into, within, and out of the pyramid is only possible via magic teleportation. Sounds like made-up stuff to me, and in a history book, nonetheless! Monstrous creatures, magical traps and treasures beyond imagination are rumored to exist within the pyramid, although everyone who has gone in to search for them has never returned. Doesn't that sound like a kids' tale to you? This all supposedly happened many years ago, like every other tall tale out there... I doubt it has anything to do with our kidnapping, or that it is of any use to you. Like I said. If you are looking for real wizard, might wanna ask in town."
With this, the group approaches the eastern walls of Phlan. Angus asks "Did Millivent say where she was going to be waiting for us? I can't wait to see her and Bo again." The children cheer in anticipation for reuniting with their mom.
Drazzim brushes off the compliment. "Just get yerself something warm and dry." He tells them."As fer myself, I think celebratory drinks are in order. What say you, Tormite?"He says, grinning at his half-orc companion.

As you walk through Phlan, one by one, the peat farm laborers begin to peel off the group, saying their goodbyes and heading towards food, drink, rest, company, or to offer their hands in whatever new vocation they might try next. By the time Darrius explains to Angus that he had rented a room for Millivent but that she mentioned she would be waiting at the Stojanow Gate instead, only the family is following the party. With that piece of information in hand, Angus makes sure to guide the party through the streets on Phlan in such a way that you pass by the Black Fist's headquarters (i.e. Stojanow Gate) first, on your way to Madame Freona's Tea Kettle.
The family reunion is quite the public affair. Upon seeing Angus, a now much more presentable Millivent (looks like she took advantage of that free room after all before arriving here) yelps in relief, almost awakening Bo in her arms. The older children dart ahead of Angus to reach their mother as soon as they see her. Volland let's out a loud "Mama" while running towards Millivent. Angus reaches out for Bo first, before helping the entire family embrace in a group hug. Some bystanders stop to watch and can't help but let a smile break their usual mid-afternoon routines.
Once reunited with her loved ones, Millivent takes some time to let her emotions settle down a bit. Once they do, she turn to the party of six standing nearby and mouths over a silent "Thank you," before approaching and letting some real words fill the air. "I know not which god blessed us with your willing group and prompt actions, but know that wherever we eventually find ourselves, each and everyone one of you will always be welcome. Now, if I may, I'll take my family to the town-hall to start getting our resettlement going. Don't let us take any more of your time."She then turns to Cato specifically "That promissory note the guards gave you can be exchanged for the promised reward inside. Go on. Let our heroes be well rewarded. you deserve it all."
With that, Angus and Millivent start shepherding their kids to the northeaster part of town, ready to start a new life. One of the guards by a side door on the grand structure that is the Stojanow Gate whittles towards you, recognizing a few of the faces "Oy, aren't you the hirelings from earlier today? If you are ready to go get your dues, go inside promptly. I told the city treasurer about you and he didn't believe me. Go on now. Come inside and show him I was right. I can't wait to get one over that scrawny bookworm. Second floor, first door to the right of the staircase."
Graxx says to the others, "I'm going to get my coin then depending on how late it is either get some information on this Wizard Isle or sleep. You all fight well. Feel free to join." Graxx walks inside the building and follows the directions.
Utar grins, his lower jaw prominent, and claps Drazzim on the shoulder. "Aye, a few rounds in The Kettle sounds just thing.... Hopefully they aren't serving fish!" He looks at the others "I take it we can expect to see you all there too?"
He nods towards the interior of the building Graxx has just entered. "Let's get that note changed into coin, hopefully someone kept it dry."
Drazzim nods. "Aye, let's make sure we can afford the drink first." He chuckles as he follows along with the others, attempting not to show any sign of shivering as they are walking around at night in drenched clothes (unless someone has Prestidigitation to unsoil their clothes for them).
The group walks in the southwest tower of the Stojanow Gate and moves up one flight of steps, following the given directions to reach the city coffers.
"I guess if you were allowed in then you must have business with me" says a scrawny middle-aged human male. He lifts his head from his books to have a better look at the party "Well, well... I can't believe this. I guess Jask wasn't jesting after all. Ha! You know, people in Phlan don't usually raise a hand to help strangers, and when they do, they usually take the promissory note and exchange it in the black market. It's been a while since I had to exchange one of these for honest work... Ha!"
"Now, let's see that promissory note Jask gave you and proof of completion of your good deed and be done with this task, shall we?" He extends his bony hand towards the group.
Edit: The long walk back to Phlan combined with the hot mid-day sun was enough to help you arrive at this office mostly dry. That doesn't mean you are clean though, and that bog stench has a nasty habit of sticking around...
"Proof? How about the half dozen rescued people we just brought into town? Or the amount of fish-man guts all over mah axe and polearm." Drazzim responds, not particularly liking the city coffers' representative's bureaucratic tone.

*** iirc Darrius purchased a room and meal for her didn't he? If so Darrius will tell Angus that.
(OOC: You did, but she specifically said she would wait for you by the place you are supposed to go to collect your reward: post).

Rose is tired; she wonders if she will be roped into another foray into the bog cave.

(I believe it was Cato who got the note, right?)
Indeed. Cato searches his pockets until he finds the note, which is a bit damp.

(OOC: I think that calls for an intimidation check, Drazzim).
