Like a gnomish automaton and its repetitive efficiency, Darrius pops out of his cover and lets loose another arrow, hitting the next foe in the throat (cumulative damage to Kuo-Toa#1: 17). The fishy warrior will certainly bleed out, but dropping its spear in an attempt to pull out the arrow from its throat, it still, for a moment longer, shows life in its eyes.
KLOOGUT'S TURN:
The leader steps further back (H37), continuing its conversation with its deity but pointing at Graxx this time around (It is casting sacred flame on Graxx, who needs to make a DEX saving throw {DC 12} or take 1 radiant damage. Please recall you have to subtract a "bane die" from this roll as well).
Suddenly, you hear the prisoners from the southeast cage (I33, I34, J33, and J34) scream in panic. From the southern tunnel, two more Kuo-Toa arrive, holding a large joint net full of fish. They drop it upon arriving, pulling their sticky shields from their backs and tightening their grip on their spears. (They go at the same initiative as the other Kuo-Toa grunts and are currently located at K33 and K34).
Graxx yells out from Kloogut's Flame "YOUR GOD WILL NOT SAVE YOU FROM MY AXE!" Graxx will charge up to Kloogut and cut down with his Greataxe onto Kuo-Toa #2.
(OOC: Well, getting a 1 on the "bane die" is actually the best outcome you can get, so, you know... cheer up! On a separate note, I'm getting some serious Kratos vibes from Graxx. Finally, Kuo-Toa#2 is dead, so I'll assume you were aiming at #1).
After being slightly singed by Kloogut's religious fervor, Graxx yells out in fury, but the fishman's curse seems to be doing its job at keeping the barbarian at bay.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Rose is occupying G31 at the moment, so I'll put Cato at F32 instead).
Cato continues his savage attacks at the row of Kuo-Toa, biting a chunk off another one. This time, Kuo-Toa#1 loses a piece of its neck, which was already damaged by one of Darrius' arrows (cumulative damage to Kuo-Toa#1: 25 -> DEAD).
KUO-TOA'S TURN:
The newcomers to battle, Kuo-Toa#4 and #5 (recall these ones are wielding shields) will rush the nearest targets when joining the fray, moving to J29 and K30, respectively.
"Utar!" Rose yells, running up to stab Kuo-Toa #5 with her rapier in order to at least distract it enough to prevent it from dealing a death blow to Utar. (Attack: 21 Damage: 11)
Rose rushes back to Utar's side, poking at Kuo-Toa#5's left knee. The enemy is still in the process of removing its spear from Utar's side, and does not have time to react to the rogue's attack (cumulative damage to Kuo-Toa#5: 11).
Darrius turns the Kuo-Toa trick on them, trapping Kuo-Toa#4 under a slimy-wet net (Kuo-Toa#4 is now restrained. The fishman does try to sneak in a poke at Darrius before the archer can move away).
Kuo-Toa#4 spear attack of opportunity (one-handed melee attack with disadvantage) vs. Darrius: Attack: 7Damage: 3 piercing.
(Drazzim is still up, Utar needs to roll a DEATH saving throw).
Utar grimaces as the spear enters his side. Groaning he falls to one knees as his hand goes to the wound, coming away from his tabbard slick with blood. Feeling himself slip towards a blackness, his eyes close...
Utar hears a small voice, call his his name. It sounds far away. Then a closer voice. Calm and commanding, sure of itself. It reminds him of the prisoners they are here to free and the fact the others travelling with him are still in danger.
As Utar opens his eyes he finds that his hand is now gripped around the shaft if the spear in his side and he is back standing, warhammer in hand. He swings at the one who attacked him with a snarl in his throat.
Utar will attack Kuo-Toa #5 - Attack: 14 Damage: 12
And will use his bonus action to attack again - Attack: 10 Damage: 8
As Utar finishes his swings, he is sure he can hear a ragged laughter in his mind, urging him towards destruction.
OOC - Ignore one of the attacks if relentless endurance was my action, although I don't think either hit.
(So just checking, Kuo-Toas 1-3 are all downed now, and Kloogut, their leader, is just ahead, right? If so, the below)
"Ha! You wretched fish folk!" He yells, seeing the reinforcements. He rushes towards Kloogut (I think he's the kuo-toa leader), dropping the glaive to his feet, putting one on the haft, in favour for drawing his greataxe to start slashing down on the enemy leader.
Greataxe vs. Kloogut:9 vs. AC. Hit:10 slashing damage.
(OOC @pokepaladdy: you are right about who's dead and who's not. Also, good use of that inspiration. Thirteen is what you need to hit him).
Surprising the Kuo-Toa in front of him, Utar comes back to consciousness (Relentless Endurance is not an action), immediately swinging his hammer at his foe's skull. A loud crack ensures it will no longer be a problem (cumulative damage to Kuo-Toa#5: 23 -> DEAD).
Utar then turns around, facing another fishman.
(Here, I’m making an adjustment to my original post to take into account that #4 is restrained. I’m rolling a second attack on behalf of Utar’s bonus action attack in his last post).
Additional attack roll to hit Kuo-Toa#4 due to advantage: 25.
The restrained Kuo-Toa has little chance of dodging the half-orc’s attack (cumulative damage to Kuo-Toa#4: 8).
Drazzim (H36) catches up to Kloogut. The greataxe slides atop his black-dragon-scale shield, catching the fishman with a glancing blow (cumulative damage to Kloogut: 10).
(Kloogut's turn is next. Kuo-Toa#4 (J29) is the only other foe alive, btw).
Graxx looks around frustrated. "QUIT HOGGING THE PRIEST, DWARF!" Graxx looks down and sees Drazzim's glaive. Graxx will drop his greataxe and pick up the glaive.
Graxx(now in the space behind Drazzim H33 I think?) will make a thrusting attack over Drazzim's head into Kloogut.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Graxx moves forward (H35) and thrusts Drazzim's glaive at Kloogut, ignoring the sharp pain in his head (cumulative damage to Kloogut: 23).
Kloogut's concentration check: 11 - Graxx's strike manages to force the Kuo-Toa leader to rethink its strategy. It releases the hold it had on the barbarian for now.
(Here's an update on our initiative order and locations before Cato's turn):
TOP OF INITIATIVE ORDER
(Darrius, you are up).
Darrius is going to shoot an arrow at the remaining grunt, making sure the grunts are gone before dealing with the leader.

Cato will run around to G31 and once again sink his temporarily elongated and acidic fangs into a Kuo-Toa (#1 this time)

(Drazzim, Utar, and Rose are up, and so is Darrius for the next round).
Darrius is going to toss his net on Kuo-Toa#4 J29, and then try to do a little roll backwards from I29 and move over to G29.
Action -> Net w/ Disadvantage vs Kuo-Toa#4

(OOC @MoistBooks: Indeed you may!)
