There is a 30 foot long "pit" with spikes along the bottom. Semi-fortunately you are at the bottom of the pit. It is 10 feet deep and walking to the other side will require a DC 12 Dex save to avoid being stabbed for 23 damage.

Can Ember just fly up and scout the pit and what is beyond?
Ahead you see something of a dog leg - left then right turn. The floor is no longer under a foot of scummy water, just maybe an inch of slow flowing liquid swamp smelling goop.
OOC: Spent part of a weekend clearing mangroves from a Hawaiian fishpond. I wish I could give you all the sensations as a download. How even if you had tight fitting shoes and socks, the mud still got to skin and it had an odor with personality. I felt something move around my toes but couldn't take off my shoes. I was thinking I wish I could share the experience with you.

Grey keeps glancing at The Wiz to make sure he doesn't have a beetle crawling on him, and manages to step on every spike in the pit!

Alexia also manages to bump into every single obstacle, too busy trying not to throw up due to the unpleasant mud.

Peering ahead you see what might be light before you instead of the constant darkness. The floor is only just coated with algae slime and you can see where the water line was on the walls.
You turn the corner to see an 80 foot long corridor with polished copper panels on each side. The mirror like surfaces reflect your light allowing you to see there is also a room at the end. The panels are 5 feet wide and 8 feet high one foot off the floor. They are evenly spaced from 10 feet in front of you running the length of the hall. The water stain mark runs under the panels.
