"Don't worry, I've got this." Alexia fires an eldritch blast at the sand, hoping it will disturb anything living within.

Ember ponders for a moment as he sees the giant scorpions shrug off his fire attempt. "They live in a volcano... of course my puny fire doesn't scare them. Let me think..."
Alexia watches the scorpions completely ignore Ember's fire. "It's going to take a lot of our energy to get rid of these things. Maybe we should leave them be for now and wait until diving for treasure in a scorpion pit is our only option." She tries to recall if there were any other exits to the spike pit room.

The Wiz, not really paying attention, figures that someone else already put his epic plan into motion. Grey, Ember, Alexia, all extremely reliable adventurers.
