Ember watches as two of the temple minions launch attacks at Grey triggering an urge to dash forward to protect and heal him. But, it only takes a few seconds to note that their attacks did not seem to do any appreciable damage. That changed Ember's mind on what he intended to do.
Rather than flitting forward to protect and heal, he spoke the words and made the passes to cast Enlarge/Reduce on Grey... figuring a larger Grey would make mincemeat out of these temple zealots and guards.
(( 2nd level 'use' spell - no roll necessary however if Grey wishes to fight the spell, roll against a CON 15 to NOT get big. ))
The Wiz cracks his knuckles and begins to giggle like a psychotic gnoll. The giggle turns to a louder chuckle, which spirals into a belly laugh, and finally, into manic laughter as he tilts his head toward the ceiling. He then points at a spot roughly 21ft away.
An orb of light forms on the tip of his pointed finger and the world becomes fire. The fire forms a circle around Grey and does not inch past that barrier.
OOC: Fireball, Dexterity Saving Throw, DC 17 or big pain of 20 Fire Damage, half damage on success. Sculpt Spell to shield Grey.
The guards near the door laugh as they face a single target.

The ball of fire is quite spectacular! Then you see the air suck in towards a box, which explodes in icy shards!
Only the Priest and Red survive the double whammy of fire and ice. The other two acolytes are black frozen statues.
