Arista checks: Terrain (Athletics) 15, Stealth with disadvantage (Armor) 8, Path (Survival) with advantage 19

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
You find a path, but it requires some narrow squeezes while trying some non viable directions, and a small slide of loose dirt and pebbles is triggered.
The path will require a climb down a nearly vertical cliff of about 80 feet to the tower, or 120 feet to the yard. Despite the clatter from the pebbles, you do not believe you have triggered a response from the keep.

"It will not be any easy climb down, but when we come back to infiltrate the keep itself, this could be a challenging but advantageous approach rather than taking it head on,"Brekka rumbles quietly as they watch perched above the keep.
„I think we should just take note in case whoever will take the castle can take advantage of, and return to report. If we scale it now, we just risk exposure.“

Considering the matter, securing with pitons will create a noise that would make it almost impossible to not alert the keep. You might be able to find a rocky outcropping or strongly rooted shrub or tree, and either tie of place a grappling hook on to secure the top of the rope in a reasonably stealthy way.
Arglen suddenly hisses, "Hide!" and ducks down. You see another winged kobold lazily fly up from the keep and look around, the sharp-eyed among you notice him squinting in the sun.
[[No stealth checks necessary, he had disadvantage due to the sun, and I rolled a nat 1.]]
After a few moments, with no particular notice taken of the area you are in, the kobold lands back in the keep.

Asariel will not go. Enough people have gone and he would rather wait in case he needs to initiate a rescue.
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

((Yeah, Kaelen grabbed that stuff.))

"Hm...Should we go ahead and set up a rope with pitons? A fall on the way down could be fatal."

Brekka nods his agreement.
"Though it's hard to resist such a challenge, you're right that we would be better to try this attempt on our return."
