Lucas looks over at Corwyn as if the elf lost his marbles. "Ah come off it, man. That's some WOTC module level of silliness right there. Say what you will about the drow, but even they wouldn't... even..." He trails off from there as his mind is cast back to previous adventures, he'd been a part of over the past ten years. And if left to his own thoughts, it takes him about a minute or so, but eventually and without another word, he sucks in his lips, turns his attention again on the symbols, and... spells out Webs Edge using the symbols on the door, by pressing them in said order before waiting to see what unfolds...

Despite no obvious visible indicators all was well, Lucas nevertheless let out a sigh of relief. "Well, that probably worked, I guess. Uhh... So! Uhh, if you, uhh, paul? If you wanna put your hands right there-"He directs the group to a particular section in the "wall". "-and push, the door should maybe open and properly reveal itself. If it don't, ya'll should be able to just walk right through the illusion. I'd try to dispel it, but can't be exhausting all I got on just try'na enter the place now."He said in softer tones, leery now of someone or thing yet waiting on the other side of the door.

Toruun can sense that something is moving some distance from the door.
Paul looks at Babe and obviously gives some sort of command as the large blue ox lowers its head and pushes the doors open. The party peers through the doors and can see that there is a large chamber with sub-branches coming off it directly behind the doors. The remains of mold-covered broken wagons and barrels languish in this large foyer. Humanoid skeletal remains lie strewn about, their swords and armor bent and rusted. Something gleams next to the bodies propped along the northern wall. Double doors on the east, northeast, and southeast walls are shut.

Corwyn:
His sword still lit to provide vision for the others, Corwyn moves carefully into the room. He uses his enhanced vision to search for threats nearby or hints of movement from the bodies that may indicate undead status.

Despite his better judgement and ASSUMING Passoveloce or Toruun hadn't beaten him to the punch, an overly curious Lucas took note of the gleam and went over to have a better look near the bodies. Though had he needed to move any to get at the source of the gleam, a short and whispered prayer to Kelemvor is made before doing so. An old habit picked up almost within the first year of his arrival in the realms.
-Investigation: 26. (If needed to find the source of the gleam)

Passoveloce watches Lucas closely and follows as he moves into the room. He then looks around the room to see if he can discern any more detail as he slips along behind Lucas.
As Lucas gets to within about 5 feet of the rubies, there is something about their size - they are possibly some of the largest rubies he has seen - or the way they seem to be placed that means he has a strange urge to wave his arms in the air and say in a deep mechanical voice “warning Will Robinson, warning!”
It took every ounce of willpower, but Lucas managed to resist the urge to embrace his inner meme lord, which once thought long dead after so many years, and tried to slowly back away from the "rubies" while holding up a fist in a halting gesture. "Psst. Clocked some weirdness over here fellas. But so long as noone gets touch'n 'em, we aughta be fine... m-maybe. Either way, somebody aughta check out them other doors." He whispered (or at least stage whispered) to the others.

As Passoveloce follows Lucas around the corner and further into the chamber he looks at the bodies and is able to determine that two are dwarves, one is a gnome, one is an elf and one is a tiefling. As Passoveloce and Lucas dissappear around the corner, Corwyn, Toruun and Paul move further into the chamber to keep them in sight.

The door does not open but as experts in mechanisms and/or doors both Passoveloce and Toruun think that a locking mechanism may have disengaged.

my tremorsense is still active, does Torunn feel anything through the door?
