(See my OOC chat post - I caught my mistake as well, in parallel with you, and just finished readjusting Nivi'spost ... hopefully she can still get Sneak Attack per what I wrote?)
Frekor jumps to action running towards the Gloomstalker A with his swords drawn. "You will be my victim." (Bonus action: Hunter's Mark proc.)
He stabs the monster with his shortsword (First attack: To hit: 25, 16+7+2. Damage: 6, 2+4. Piercing damage. Hunter's Mark Damage: 6. Force damage. Using Vex for next attack.)
He then slashed the monster with his scimitar (Using Nick. To hit: 31. Nat 20+7+4. Damage: 14, 4+6+4. Slashing damage. Hunter's Mark Damage: 8, 6+2. Force damage. Colossus Slayer Damage: 16, 8+8.)
He finished his flurry of attacks with stabbing the Gloomstalker again. (Second attack: To hit: 26, 18+7+1. Damage: 10, 6+4. Piercing Damage.)
(OOC: Randa seems to always be targeted and surviving by the skin of her teeth. She might need to become an angry archer, multiclassing with barbarian at this point hahahaha.)
Morgan grimaces and covers one ear. Then he shakes it off.
"One of my moms didn't sing much better than that."
He glances around, then up, quickly assessing the situation. He looks toward the soldiers.
"Let's see if you're good for more than playing dice..." A crooked grin appears. "Be ready. It's raining monsters."
Morgan pulls a card from his tarot deck (Arcane focus): the Four of Swords.
For a brief moment, the worn illustration seems to shift. The image of a resting figure fades, replaced by the silhouette of the Gloomstalker, pinned to the ground beneath four spectral blades.
The vision lasts only a heartbeat before the card becomes ordinary once more.
Morgan casts Sleep on the flying Gloomstalker (WIS Save DC 16).
Morgan feels something strange stirring inside him: chaotic, volatile... He glances at his companions, a note of genuine concern crossing his face.
"You may want to step away from me for the next minute or so..."
--- No Wild Magic surge (15) Roll on the Wild Magic Surge table to recharge Tides of Chaos: 2 -> "Roll on this table at the start of each of your turns for the next minute, ignoring this result on subsequent rolls." This gonna be... wild

(OOC: That's true. I made Frekor move closer to the Gloomstalker because he wants to Attack it as much as possible while it's grounded.)
Randa’s arrows of steam and light arc through the air and burrow themselves deep into the Gloomstalker (A), even as she grunts against the near fatal bite it delivers as she dives out of its range. Nivi then darts through the air, greased lighting given form and thrusts her rapier into the swirling shadow that is the Gloomstalker’s unnatural body. A burst of energy encases it as she slips away. The combined efforts of Randa and Nivi leave its form dripping shadow.
DM: A is bloodied.
Then the hand of Death acts. Frekor delivers blow after blow, bleeding the Abyssal creature of its soupy shadow in cut after cut. It attempts to turn to fly away, but a final slash from Frekor relieves its head from its long neck. The now headless body hops from the ground and wings flap out of sync before it falls back to the stone steps. Frekor rises from within the near circle the creature has made with its body as it fell.
DM: A is dead.
The other Gloomstalker (B) appears to move to attack the party, but it freezes in the air, half its face appears to be paralyzed, then it plunges the 30ft into the stone carved steps face-first. Its face crumples inward and some shadow-dripping, bladed teeth spray outward, ejected by the impact.
DM: B failed the first Save. It had the Incapacitated Condition, where it fell and then took 14 Bludgeoning Damage. As it took damage during the Heroes' turn, the second Save is no longer relevant and the Gloomstalker does not lose its turn, as taking damage causes the spell to end prematurely.
The Gloomstalker shakes its head as it draws itself in, trying to understand how it got to the ground suddenly. It then sees the closest prey, which is Sky. Immediately, it moves in and attempts to attack him.
The Gloomstalker shakes its head as it draws itself in, trying to understand how it got to the ground suddenly. It then sees the closest prey, which is Sky. Immediately, it moves in and attempts to attack him.
Sky leans into the attacks and uses his new splint mail's expert craftsmanship to reduce the damage of each slash. Sky growls a bit at the brutal swipes, but he maintains his focus on his Blessspell.
Having taken shots from the baddies, Sky decides to try and return the favor.
He swings with his halberd, attempting to focus his wrath on the vile gloomstalker with a successful swipe. [Attack Roll #1: 12+7= 19 to hit; 13 slashing damage (9+4)]
If this hit is successful, Sky casts Divine Smite as a Bonus Action for an additional 2d6 radiant damage: 10 radiant damagefrom Divine Smite.
[Attack Roll #2: 7+7 = 14 to hit; 13 slashing damage again (9+4)]
Using Heroic Inspirationto reroll the 7 attack roll: 12 again for 19 total to hit once more.
Nivi rolls her eyes as the Aurora Watchmen make themselves scarce, closing the doors behind them. "Never seen them move so fast," she observes.
Sensing that Jacaranda and Sky have gotten the worst of the assault by these shadowy horrors, Nivi resolves to stay in melee this time rather than slipping away, skirmisher-style. She trots up around Sky (just north of the goliath) and swipes at the Gloomstalker's flank with her rapier.
"Back in Tal'Dorei, knew a few dark, shadowy types like you and your dead pal," she drawls laconically to the abomination as she stabs it. "Head up in the clouds, falling on their ass for no reason, emo-screeching like some dying rat, usually right before getting stomped by guys like Tracker here."
Movement: 10' NE, finishing just N of Sky and in melee with Gloomstalker B
Bonus Action: This time, no Cunning Action to retreat, so Nivi... murmurs a word in Elvish and gestures to summon her invisibleMage Hand.
Action: Booming Blade attack with rapier on Gloomstalker B: Booming Blade with Rapier to hit: 15 + 2 from Bless = 17 Booming Blade with Rapier damage: 10 (base) + 6 (sneak attack) -> 16 piercing + 6 thunder from Booming Blade = 22 total immediate damage Booming BladeSecondary Damage if Gloomstalker B moves voluntarily before Nivi's next turn: 8 additional thunder Vex Weapon Mastery: after a hit, Nivi has advantage on her next attack against Gloomstalker B
Nivi is concentrating on Blade Ward (3 more rounds after this one). She has Reactions available and may use them.
Shiv continues to glide in a circle well above, watching for further threats to alert Nivi of.
(Wild Magic Surge #1/10: 54 - "You can take one extra action on this turn.")
Morgan darts toward the creature and reaches out to touch it. If it has skin, a sharp jolt of electricity crackles through his hand and into its body (Shocking Grasp, attack: 19 to hit. Damage: 4 lightning.)*
Using the extra action granted by the wild magic, he moves closer to the Aurora Watch and points at the creature.
A splinter of psychic force lances toward its mind (Mind Sliver: INT Save DC 15. On a failure, 9 psychic damage.)
Finally, Morgan looks toward the guards who abandoned the fight. His gaze lingers on the wounded soldiers lying on the ground.
Then it shifts back to the guards who retreated. One face. Then another. And another.
Randa pelts the Gloomstalker as it stands to full height and Sky swipes at it with his halberd. The damage done is as expected until Sky pours his Radiant power into the attack. The effect is that as the halberd chews through shadowy flesh, the radiant power lingers in the wound for just a moment and then erupts in explosive power. It recoils from Sky’s assault just as Nivi and Morgan throw themselves into bringing the creature down.
The combination of Thunder and Lightning overwhelms the beast and its glowing eyes burn from their sockets, leaving smoldering coals in their place as it falls dead.
If the door isn't fully closed, Morgan wedges a foot into the opening and sticks his face through the gap. For a brief, unsettling moment, he looks like a man one bad decision away from becoming a cautionary tale.
He stares at the soldiers. "I'm pissed. At you cowards."
A pause. "And if I turn into a potted plant sometime in the next minute..." Morgan points at himself. "...that means I'm very pissed."

The battle ended... unfortunately, Morgan's magic didn't get the memo.
A flumph suddenly appears beside him.
Then a spectral shield.
Then another.
When Morgan opens his mouth to complain, pink bubbles drift out instead.
A confused Modron Monodrone materializes, surveys the scene, and... shrugs.
A pulse of necrotic energy lashes out for no obvious reason—one that Morgan hurriedly tries to direct at nobody in particular.
Then things get... hotter.
Everything flammable Morgan touches bursts into flame (Does the door catch fire?)
Morgan catches sight of his own hand and quickly decides not to touch anything else.
Pink bubbles continue floating from his mouth.
By the end of it all, he is surrounded by floating shields, pink bubbles, inexplicable extraplanar visitors, and several small fires.
(OOC: In one minute, all of this ends. So unless combat starts again before then, there's probably no need to track the chaos in detail.)
