"No.... Nooo... I.... I...!!"Boozey shook his head, desperate to shake off the compulsion. But no matter how much he gritted his teeth and dug in his heels, it was a battle of futility. And with his mind so occupied in the fight against the spell, with worry about Elisande, and fear of an imminent arrival of ol' Gnawbones too making an appearance deep inside, there was little stopping the beast within from seizing the moment.
The next thing his conscious mind registers is a soreness in his arms as if having worked them into a frenzy of motion, and that suddenly he stood several paces behind everyone else. The pain came next, if he had been struck during the brief blackout. But regardless of whether he did or not, the truth about what happened began to sink in, and swiftly at that, if he saw one of the knights he'd been facing fallen to the ground, leaving him standing there wide-eyed and shaken for the moment.
Meanwhile, a defiant Biscuit yet held his ground; his courage having been further bolstered in seeing the result of Villonah enacting swift retribution on his behalf!
(Rolling d2. If 1, attacks are at Cult Knight(P-24), if 2, targeting instead Cult Knight(R-23): 4.
Action(Boozey): Raging Stinging on Blue-Scaled Warrior(P-24). (Melee, Lethal, Vex)Apostle of the Wild - Attack #1: 28 Damage: 11 of piercing plus 4 lightning. (Melee, Lethal, Vex)Apostle of the Wild - Attack #2: 31 Damage: 15 of piercing plus 3 lightning. (OOC: If 1st attack hits, here's the adv roll: 22(if Crit: 4 piercing +2 lightning))
Movement(Boozey): To R-25, climbing up to the roof and provoking opportunity attacks(if allowed). (Alternatively, to save on the headache of moving east past P-29 and off map, he'll head down to Y-25.)
Utar moves toward the next target and swings his magical mace, landing another solid hit. The same cannot be said about his Spiritual Weapon. (Cult Knight#1 {R-23} takes 11 bludgeoning and radiant damage.)
Doozey wobbles from taking a hit (concentration on Detect Poison and Disease is dropped), and the subsequent blood loss sends the werebadger into a frenzy (Bloddlust).Doozey slashes wildly at one of the nearest targets. It happens to be the same one the rest of CRAP is currently focused on, so there is a silver-lining. Being close to the action, Utar, Neya, and Raist, too, notice that most of the lightning coming from Doozey's claw fails to damage the blue-scaled dragon-humanoids in front of them. (Cult Knight#1 {R-23} takes 30 piercing and lightning damage.)
After the attack, the devil's Command finally clicks, and CRAP watches as Doozey seems to flee combat temporarily. As he moves, the enemy knights try to swipe at him:
(@Ori: I think having Doozey move to and up the mentioned building makes perfect sense, especially since he has a climbing speed. I'll say that he ends his turn at {S-26}, 20ft above ground level.)
Despite being nicked on his way up the nearest wall, Doozey only regains control over his mind once he is somewhere on the roof. (Doozey takes 9 slashing damage.)
Neya is perhaps surprised at how deftly her foe wields a relatively large blade. (Neya takes 22 slashing damage.)
The other Cult knight moves through Utar's spectral weapon and positions himself just at the right angle {P-21} to catch three CRAPers in his Lightning Breath.
-> Damage roll for the Lightning Breath:11
-> Neya, Utar, and Raist need to roll DEX saving throws {DC 13}. On a success, they take half-damage.
Being the closest to the blast, Utar takes the brunt of the damage but also shields his companions from most, if not all, of the sparks. Neya is able to swiftly evade them (Evasion), but Raist still catches a few of the stray sparks. (Utar takes 11 lightning damage; Raist takes 5 lightning damage.)
The lightning breather then keeps moving, adding some distance between him and CRAP {N-18}.
The winged devil reemerges from behind the barricade, getting slightly closer to CRAP as he does so: "Fine. Have it your way. But won't one of you at least consider joining me in this fight? I'm outnumbered after all." He waves a hand towards Neya as his eyes light up in a bright yellow color.
-> Neya needs to roll a WIS saving throw {DC 14} against Dominate Person. She may roll it with advantage.
(@Drache: The little bit of extra damage I referred to in the Cult knights' first turn actually triggered in their most recent attack against Neya. So, I'm afraid she takes an additional 5 damage.)
(@Drache: Is it okay to assume any leftover attacks would be aimed at the next Cult knight after some movement, as you had specified in previous turns? I'll assume so, but let me know if you'd rather do something else and I can adjust this post. Also, I'll add some flavor to the 5 damage rolled in the post above, but just know that it is the same 5 damage and not additional damage to what was already mentioned.)
Neya punches her foe in the throat, stunning him in the process. Her next punch brings the enemy to his knees. The third one, finishes him off. (Cult Knight#1 {R-23} takes 29 bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
The monk then catches up to the retreating knight in purple {O-19} and delivers a swift kick to his head, also bringing him down. (Cult Knight21 {N-18} takes 12 bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED.)
As Neya's foot lands back on the ground, she feels a pinch of pain shoot up her nerves. She looks at it quickly and realizes that she dragged her foot on a small piece of broken glass. What luck... (Neya takes 5 slashing damage.)
Closer to the tree, the ex-Fist finds himself trapped between Biscuit and Villonah. He circles around a bit {U-12} as he attacks the mastiff:
Conc Save #1(DC 10): 8.
Conc Save #2(DC 10): 12.
Bloodlust Save(DC 8): 5.
(OOC: If both conc. saves are passed, ignore the bloodlust save as he auto-fails while concentrating on a spell)
