Doozey half-smiles and nods in thanks to Villonah. But just as he sliding out of his seat, Raist's words gives the halfling pause for a moment. Following a quick glance to the rest of the party, Doozey went on to awkwardly say, "I thought we... I thought I... Well... Hmm.. I s'pose with everything else that went down during our little break some things got a little left to the wayside, huh? Well, suffice it to say the dragon goes by Old Gnawbones in some circles. But in others, she's, uhh.. She goes Claugiyliamatar?"
With that said, Doozey finally heads over to the window, and after first weaving a spell to commune with beasts|, pulled out a silver raven figurine, transforming it with but a word into a living, brown feathered crow. "Sorry it's been a while Gravy. But, I got an important message for ya to deliver. Once that's done, wait a couple minutes, take whatever the dwarf offers ya, and then meet us back home. Got it?"Doozey asks. To which Gravy caws in such a way as to seem to be chuckling before giving a salute.
"For you boss? Ehhh, Shore~ You knowz all ya gotta do is say the word. Plus, betweenzz you and me? Any excuse to stretch my wings is a good one!"Gravy assures him in his "Neverwinterian Accent"(think Brooklyn). Doozey breathes a sigh of relief. "Thanks again. Alright, so, here goes-..."Doozey proceeds to describe Dornal and where to find him, before drawing on some of magic tied to Gravy and convey the following:
@Lerus:
The Message: Doozey speaking. Be advised, coinage found in town bearing green dragon profile, and something funky going on in castle. Know anything? Leave bird message.
As Raist gets a bit more information on the dragon that has become the center of the conversation, Doozey summons Gravy and prepares to send him of on a mission.
Not having met Gravy before, Villonah gasps at the halfing: "You are full of surprises!"
Utar relates the responses recieved back to his comrades: "For the Harpers, Sirge is investigating the new coinage. For the Order, Villanoh is their only member close enough, so if you want to, you're in; glad to have you. Ekmong is preparing for the worst and will be in touch in due course."
"I will contact my own network, as well. With what the Cult is capable of it, is hard to have too much help."
She starts drafting a coded message:
Be aware and alert. The Cult of the Dragon has likely been in contact with one of their imprisoned spies. Reasons are unknown, but their actions cannot be discounted. Will follow up with more details as they are discovered.
She folds up her message and puts it into her pocket for now.
"Eheh, well, uhm, s'pose I am. So much so, I surprise myself sometimes."Doozey admitted with a bit of a chuckle, before seeing his work completed and sending Gravy off through the window. After a moment or two of watching him fly out, the halfling suddenly leaps onto the window seal and quickly scans the area outside for anything suspicious.
If nothing comes of his search, his expression softens as he slips back onto the ground, muttering an apology. Otherwise, his next words are a quick warning to the rest.
(@Lerus: I couldn't remember off the top of my head what was the restaurant we frequently met Dornal, but it would be that place that he sends Gravy off along with a description of Dornal.)
(@Ori: The dice roll didn't go through. Could you please reroll it? Also, the name of the restaurant you are looking for is The Cracked Crown.)
While Doozey and Villonah see off Gravy, Utar shares with the group a summary of the responses he received. Those listening would notice that he left off any comment on Seranolla's response, at least for now.
Neya reaches out to her own contacts, leaving behind a coded message. Although information is still scarce, CRAP has sniffed some ill omen in the air and is swiftly reacting by reaching out to their vast network of allies, making sure no one is caught flat-footed.
Aleyd is standing back up by now, pacing around the room a bit.
"I did receive a response from Seranolla... but uh, well, I suspect that her transformation is now complete. Doozey, can you translate for me if I attmept to relay what I heard?"
Utar waits for a response, and assuming that Dozzey does cast speak with plants, he casts guidance on himself before he begins his performance, muttering, "Going to need all the help I can get on this one, big guy.". Stepping away from the table for more space, he attempts to recall the noises he heard and mentally prepare himself. Placing some copper coins in his to allow him to mimic the sounds of what he assumed were falling berries or nuts and streching his arms out to their full span to represent Seranolla's branches. Ready to begin, and after taking a deep breath, Utar closes his eyes and then attempts to replicate the sound of rustling leaves and braches swaying in the wind. At what he hopes were the right moments, he drops his copper coins. After a few moments, Utar opens his eyes and looks to Doozey, "Did you get any of that?"
