Trigger! Need a death save!

J'Sahriel's eyes go wide at the sight of the two rats taking down Trigger, then she hears wolf-boy snarl and turns just in time to see Berlyn go down as well.

"Lyn!" she snaps in alarm as she leaps at wolf-boy, all thoughts of second chances forgotten about in the peril of the moment.

Action: Dagger vs. Wolf-boy  Attack: 23  Damage: 6

Bonus Action: Dagger vs. Wolf-boy  Attack: 20  Damage: 3

Sneak Attack: (Not applicable.)

Fin Death Save: 9

While everyone else around them clings to life desperately, Eman and Jhess turn there focus toward taking care of what's left. 

Jhess comes at the wolfy guy from before, but her attacks don't seem to make much damage on the shifter. He stops looming over Berlyn and turns to face the 'half-elf' with a toothy, sinister smirk.

Eman, despite being distraught, manages to fell both rats 1 and 2!

Rattie 3 starts rifling through Fin's belongings! 1

The last shifter standing sees past Jhess and snarls as he spots both his companions on the ground. "I'LL KILL YOU FOR THAT, BRAT!" He swipes and bites in her direction! (Claw, Attack: 15, Damage: 9 slashing.) (Bite, Attack: 22, Damage: 5 piercing.)

Emanuel turns towards the last Shifter; yells and charges at him.  Leaving his greatsword behind, he plows right into the Shifter.

As Jhess scraps with the wolf-boy, she manages to avoid the swiping of his claws, but then he surprises her with a quick snap of his teeth against her neck.  Through the pain and shock, she gets angry...too angry.

In a blur of slashing daggers, the wolf-boy suddenly finds himself facing not a timid half-elf girl but a fiercely snarling red-skinned tiefling.

Action: Dagger vs. Wolf-boy  Attack: 19  Damage: 7

Sneak Attack: 4 (If allowed because of the surprise change, if not no worries.)

"No, YOU will be the one to pay, SCUM!"

Trigger's Death Save: 18

Jhess' transformation brings a look of fear and confusion to the Shifter's face as he shirks back, unguarded from her sudden spring and attack! Her knife drives deep into his chest. Blood pours from the wound when the tiefling pulls back and it would appear the shifter has breathed his last breath.

Eman, worried about Lily, rushes to her side, grabs the rat, and flings it into the sewer water.

The rat struggles, but is otherwise swept away.

It would appear the fight is over.

Emanuel searches Lily's belongings for her healing potion, opens it, and then makes sure she consumes it; holding her in his arms until she stirs awake.  He looks down at her face and smiles as her eyes open.

When Eman looks over Lily's fallen form, he sees her skin has turned an ashen white color. Once he flips her over to feed her the potion, he sees that everything about her changing. Her facial features melt away to reveal a new face. Her hair changing colors.

Eman sees that 'Lily' is a changeling.

"O...oh." He says, before feeding her the potion.  Coming from Sharn he knows of Changelings, but is uncertain what to do other than saving her.

Lily’s pale eyes pop open to see Eman kneeling over her and she starts to smile, but then sees the look on his face. She quickly shifts back into the Lily personae and shrugs. “I’m sorry Eman... I... did the others see?” She suddenly seems more timid, giving him a questioning look to see if he looks angry, hurt, or otherwise...

Hugging her a little tighter, Eman looks around the chamber.  He sees Trigger laying, surrounded by the dead rats.  J'Sahriel's back as she stands over the slain Shifter.  Berlyn, down but breathing evenly. And the other dead bodies; one by his own hands.

He looks down to Lily.  "I don't think so." He smiles to her; happy that she's okay.  He then helps her up to her feet, before checking on Trigger.

Death save (if needed): 6

Taking just a moment to stand over the fallen shifter, Jeskha wipes the blade of her dagger against her thigh to remove the blood, her expression dark.  Then she is a whirl of motion as her form quickly shifts back to that of J'Sahriel and she frantically searches through the pockets of her school robes for vial of healing potion.  Finding it, she quickly kneels over Berlyn and pours it into her mouth.  As she waits the brief moments for it to take effect, she casts a worried glance at Trigger.

As soon as Lyn begins to stir, Jhess helps her to sit up and points over to Trigger.

"Quickly! You have to heal him!"

Kneeling over Trigger, Emanuel is midway through moving his healing potion towards Trigger's mouth, when he hears J'Sahriel call out for Berlyn to heal him.  He halts suddenly, realizing that it'll be better to save the potion if there is another way to save his ally.
