Just wanted to make sure you didn't have any second thoughts.
Tangle:
Alright, you begin to follow the two figure down the hall. The two walk for quite a while down several turns and twists in the sewers halls. As you follow the two figure you notice that any remaining sounds of the city above you begin to fade away, the last ladder having disappeared a few minutes back, and the tunnel grows darker still. The branching paths even begin to disappear until all other paths are gone. Around 30 minutes of you following these two creatures when the two figures begin to pick up speed and eventually turn down a section of the sewer, from what you can see with your limited vision is simply is a single long tunnel going one direction.
"Yes that elf is something else...So what is the plan anyway? and keep it quiet, that guard followed me in here... This is probably a good place to check for rumors of the bandits"

By the graven weir! she thinks. They are having some sort of festival down here.
Tangle will try to slink past the small opening, further down the tunnel, and hide, hoping the newcomer(s) also turn in there. If she has to flee, it will be further on, hoping there is an exit.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
OOC > Had to happen eventually. Sorry to be monopolizing the DM, guys. Trying to make it go as fast as possible. Have a drink for Tangle, this might be the end of her escapade.

Fenchurch, newly confident with the power of local ale, looks to his comrades. "With your permission, I will do my best to pull some information out of them. It's amazing what people will tell someone who offers to tell them the future."
Tangle in your haste to escape the beings approaching from behind you; your foot catches some loose rocks that clatter against the ground. Its a small sound but loud enough to catch some attention. The two sets of feet behind you stop, a there's a silence before they pick up again much faster this time. Two sets of voices begin barking out in the dark.
Tangle going past the hole you realize the tunnel leads pile of debris that causes the tunnel to come to a dead end about 30 feet ahead of you. As you past the hole you can hear two other voice responding to the noise and voice.
What do you want to do?
(To clarify: Two creatures behind you, two creatures in the hole. A dead end ahead of you.)

OOC > Well, fudge. To be clear, Tangle has not had a short rest since we intercepted Dr. Jinn, correct? That would be when Tangle last used Fey Step. We've been listening to readings, walking the city, going to the jail, sitting in the temple, walking the city some more, so I think not.
Tangle curses fluently and loudly in Sylvan. If they understand it, it's about stubbing her toe on effing rocks in the essy muck in this forsaken tunnel. Then she holds out her empty hands to the oncoming humanoids, In broken Common (more broken than usual), she says, "I am invite! Special skills. Blam! I am not danger to you!"
If you need a Deception check (gulp!) here it is. Not her strong suit. Deception: 18
Her plan is either to wildly hoodwink them into taking her into their confidence, or baffle them long enough to get behind them and scamper at full move+dash+cunning-action-dash for safety, which would be the first ladder she comes across on the way back.

Can Tangle make out any features, or do they (still?) have their hoods up?
Tangle will turn so that her back is to the wall opposite the hole, she does not want anyone coming up behind her.
“No expert that speak tongue! Me only. Without me, you go blam!”
She’s pretty confident in her escape plan, with Fey Step available, so she’s going to see how this plays out. At least learn more about who, or what, these are.

Tangle, connecting the dots of the creatures rough voice, broken dialect, stout figures, and certain sounds; can figure out
For Tangle only:
Tangle realizes that the language is being spoken is goblin, though she doesn't know the words.
The two figure continue toward and noticing that you are a much taller figure then themselves begin pulling out daggers, you can see the other figures crawling back from under the small hole.
Tangle is well aware of her squishiness, so she will use a bonus action to Fey Step 30' back along the tunnel (behind the small dudes, hopefully avoiding any attacks of opportunity), then move 30', then take the Dash action to move another 30', for 90' of getting out of there. For expediency, she will continue to move 90' each round (Move, Dash, Cunning Action Dash) until she finds a ladder marked "Safe" at which point she will climb up to the street, then make her stinky way to the original sewer entry (in case anyone is waiting for her), and then continue on to the Mermaid.

You watch as the two creatures slip into a small hole in the side of the tunnel and disappear from view.
As you stand there and examine the area from where you are; you also begin to hear a similar type of footsteps approaching from behind you.
