Fenchurch: Looking over the items, they look vaguely familiar. Turning it over the red shell bears a symbol of 3 stylized Ms. The shell also looks like it might have been a part of something else before being warped into the shape it is now. It smells heavily of sulfur. If these were the pyrotechnics Marr'viel spoke about then they've been ruined as far as their original use is concerned.
Perry: Zephyr flies off into the darkness, zipping through the sewers, but does not spot the goblin.
Wolf pup: You find the same items as mentioned earlier.
As the group looks over the bombs, I need Perry to make me a wisdom check.
"I don't know what those goblins did to Marr'vell's fireworks, but they did something to 'em. Also, this stuff smells of sulfur, which we wouldn't put in our fireworks unless we wanted really ticked of patrons."
"Now I've never been blown up with fireworks but I can tell ya that these things pack a punch." Barb is leery of the explosives. "Is there wick or fuse? These might come in handy if we figure out how to detonate them."
Perry: With Zephyr back the scent of the bomb catches her attention. She schreeces and a wave of memories floods your mind, of her following the goblin in the city, heading to the center of town, watching it put the object with the offerings at the statues feet hidden beneath other offerings. The item that was of the same shape and color of the red bomb. Everything begins hitting you at once. You think back to the figures seen through out the entire day. Sneaking in and out of alley ways, through crowds of people, unnoticed and unseen all day. The guards that wouldn’t see because they were focused on keeping something out. The writings on the walls of the sewer. This had been planned out. A sinking feeling in you chest when you realize that there might not be only one bomb within the city.
Perry's eyes go wide. "There's more than one!" He pauses for a moment, then continues in excitedly. "I thought they were gonna blow up one thing an' try to hurt as many people as they could all at once. It's worse than tha'. Doncha see? The writin' on the walls were instructions, tha' package by the statue was nuther bomb. Wolf Pup saw 'em firs' then I saw 'em." He stops again and looks at everyone in turn begging them to believe him with his pleading eyes. "They got bombs all over the city jus' like tha'." He points at the now useless bomb. "We've gotta tell the priestess. We gotta find 'em all 'fore they go off all over the city!"

Tangle curses in Sylvan. “The sewers are marked, they use ‘blam’ and ‘safe’ at the exits, it must indicate the presence of a bomb. I can show you, but there are many exits, the system is as large as the city.”
”Zephyr can again take a message to the priestess, but we must be about securing these bombs. Finding their leader can wait.”
Then, almost to herself, “How do they intend to trigger them, I wonder...”

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Fenchurch looks over at his compatriots, a quiver going into his voice.
"There's only a handful of us, and who knows how many bombs there are out there. We can try to acquire them, but we have got to get as many people out of the city as possible. Does this city have any sort of alarm system?"
Tangle shakes her head at Fen's idea. "We do not know this town, and a panic among the people will make it worse. Tell the priestess the danger, and she can decide how to alert the city. We must do what we can. Perry, send the message, then get to the one bomb we know of, among the other offerings at the statue. I will begin from under here, finding the exits marked 'blam.' They may be trapped, but we should mark them somehow so you and the guards know where to look..." she thinks a moment. "Barbara, is your strength enough to rip the sewer doors off their hinges? Could you break them to mark them, let searchers know a bomb is near?"
Then she pauses, her eyes are literally flickering with a fire-like radiance. She mouths the word 'bomb' as if trying it out. Clearly it is new to her.
"I am loathe to split up, but I cannot see how else we cover all this ground. Have you all any ideas?" she adds, suddenly conscious that she has been dominating the planning.

Fenchurch cannot help but smile at the beautiful Owl, despite the admittedly terrible situation. He pulls out a pen that he keeps on him for magic trick purposes, and lacking another source of ink, dabs it into the blood of a fallen goblin. While he is usually fond of flowery language, now is not the time. He rips a piece of his shirt, already badly messed up from wandering the sewers, and writes the following message, careful not to smudge the "ink"
"Priestess, your city is in grave peril. A band of goblins has planted bombs throughout the city. The look like malformed fireworks and smell of sulfur. They may be under offering statues. If you can, send your people to safety. I swear by your patron that we will do all we can to protect your city."
Signed,
Fenchurch looks up...
"Well, my friends, what should we name ourselves? Rude to send a letter without a name."
Wolf Pup considers for a moment, “You’re right, Fenchurch, a name is an important thing. She knows us as the ones investigating the missing fireworks from the carnival, so what of ‘The Madam’s Marvels?’”

Tangle looks very serious at Fen’s suggestion. “Names have power, and given names even more. If we name ourselves, we both strengthen our fortunes and put ourselves in peril. I must seek guidance from the Feywild.”
She closes her eyes, and hums, her hands held in a tricky symbol, flowing into another as the pitch rises... then she pops one eye open to see if anyone is watching, and grins.
”I jest! It is a delightful name, Fenchurch, I should like to live up to its marvelous billing!”

Responding to Tangle, "between Pup and I we could pop may sewer doors I imagine. But how much time would it take to locate them?"
At Wolf Pup's suggestion "A very fine suggestion! Let the Priestess believe she is the Madame, but we all know it's me" Barb gives a chuckle, revealing a lightening mood. "Cities are wretched, Jails and sewers and explosives. I'm starting to understand why my parents brought me away from these places.
Fenchurch takes a look at the materials.
[Int Check to see I can tell whether or not the materials are Marr'Vell's and/or have been altered:17 ]
He then calls to Perry.
"By the way, from what I know of the spell the Goblin used, it may not have gotten that far, can you send Zephyr to look around?"
